When you see "beat the game", it is not an easy challenge. I'm trying to beat the game with the gmax EV found at the wild area station if you have had the "let's go experience"

I'm probably the only pkmn not noob to struggle against the second and third gym leaders of shield.
I kind of struggled with Kabu's gym. It's that dang Ninetales with Will-O-Wisp that got me.
Edit: Yes, I picked Sobble at the beginning and it was at like lvl 25 at this point.
I love Allister and Ghost types and I also love the Battle Tower because of the music.

I like Avery because it feels good to knock him down a peg and earn his respect as a rival, plus his backstory makes his attitude more understandable. I also like how he mellows out, but still keeps a little bit of his bite.

I’d probably have to say my favorite would be a tie between Klara, cause I liked putting down her poison team with MY Poison team, Bea cause I have a thing for tomboys and abs, and she’s just a cool character in Twilight Wings, and Marnie cause she has an actually interesting personality compared to a lot of other consistent characters

my favorite is marnie because of how well written her character is, when the early game treats team yell as the antagonists you expect their leader to be in someway similair to them, be it design or personality, but with marnie, it's just a bunch of her fans being reckless, she's taking the GYM challenge, not because she has to, or to prove herself worthy to piers to take over the GYM. she did it because she wanted to challenge herself, she even refuses to be the dark type GYM leader, marnie is my favorite character simply because her character is written brilliantly and actually has somewhat of a character arc (and before anyone calls me a simp for callling marnie my favorite, from sword and shield the only characters i've simped for are gloria, nessa and sonia)
This is pretty much the exact reason why she’s my favorite as well. Also because I low key have sort of a thing for alternative girl characters too lol XD
After playing the game for the first time these past few months, my favorite characters are Victor (my custom one), Marnie, and Allister.

Funny story, my best friend is obsessed with Marnie and Piers because she thinks she is a goth. And she is the only person I know irl who lost to Hop (your final battle with him in post game)
