Definitely 100% keep the walls black.
Once the ceiling is white that will be enough to give the impression of space. Black makes everything in your fish room pop, you only have to look at your aquarium in front of the white wall to see how much stronger everything looks against the black backdrop. You have come a long wall since the flood and it all looks great. 😊
Very true!! Thanks so much!! I love all the changes since then! :D
I call my angelfish little underwater pigs. Every time I pass by their aquarium they go crazy wanting more food.
Ahhh I know it makes me feel bad.. and intimidated lol
Anyone else simping for this guy?😭😭
Your fish room is best bro black walls are looking good!
THANK YOUUUUU!!!!!
Guy, the black walls look awesome 👍
Low key :DDD
The black walls look great. I wouldn't change them.
Nooooooo keep the walls black!!!! The tanks look so good against the black and it looks really polished and clean with the setup you’ve got, the wooden desk and the new sofa. At least wait till the ceiling is set up before you decide painting the walls white!
Ive been waiting for this and asking for this for almost 2 years. And we finally got it
a great change is a challenge so its a 10/10
Glad things are coming along so well, the fish room is looking very nice! Great job James! 👍🏻
Tanks 😊😊
A guy I know used to have an "animal" room. And the walls were a light purple. But very earthy tone. Kinda like a light shade of a fig. It looked really good with all the tanks and animals.
Why is animal in quotations 😳
Showing how to finish off cinder block stands was very infoamational.
Oh, and keep the walls black. Looks cool.
Looks awesome man!
Tanks :DDD
You should do one marine set up
Love it!!!!
Thank youuu!!
@@ChallengetheWild npppp(:
I like the walls black, but if u decide to paint them to make the room look bigger, I myself would go with a pastel color. Your hanging lights would show up better than if the walls were white. Just my thought... ✌😎
That's amazing! I adore your facility. 👍
Please do more videos on your ceiling and couch ;-)
Keep as it is looks great
paint the walls a light grey, and the door ether a lighter or darker grey
Happy Easter, James
Happy easter :DDDDDD
Possibly try a grey.... Don't forget you can get paint swatches and hang them up on the wall. Anything with blue will give a colder feeling to the room and anything with red will make it feel warmer. Yellow colored hues would be not only warm but a happier feel to them witch is why you see yellow in kitchens. I see that you have an accent wall with orange that you seem to be really proud of. The walls you have are fairly textured as well so i would personally try a grey with a slightly blue tone but really light grey ya know ?. Anyway... I love watching your video's. And your live streams even though you don't do them much. You sort of inspired me to do stuff as well. Altho i was already into fish.... I am an artist so i hope this helped a little and i did not repeat what you probubly already learned.
The fish room is looking good!
Thank you so much!!!!
man you coulda names the tortoise princess bowsette XD I'm jealous of the room is looks great !
Paint the wall a medium Grey instead of white
Hmmm that could be dope
stick with the gray walls. I like it
❤️❤️❤️love you James
Bruh! That room looks soooo perfect now. Congrats!!!
Thank you so muich!!!!
Nice room it has improved alot ever since it flooded that one time
Ahhh i'm so happy with the changes since then :D
I think your room looks very nice how it is if I was decorating it I would just paint the door white keep everything else the same
I have almost the exact same flooring I just installed through my house from Menards! Looks good, James!
Love all the diy tips, especially the brick stands & covers. Your fish room looks GREAT ! Not sure about the wall color - It confuses me too ! Love your videos - I love fish too. I only have two 5 gal tanks with a male betta in each. I'm limited to space & have some health issues so I don't wanna get to many tanks that I can't give them the care they deserve. I LOVE my little tanks & betta boys sooo much tho ! Keep up the great work...
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Unless Princess is a forest tortoise, you shouldn't be using a humidifier because the excess moisture can encourage skin rotting microbes to grow on them. Also, you might want to get her a bigger enclosure. Nice job remodeling the room though
Very true! I don't have it on 24/7 but I read that babies of this species should have higher humidity when they are young, my fish room stays pretty dry so this combats it. I bought this when I noticed she had some dry skin even after I would bathe her. Thanks for the help! I'll make sure I dont leave it on too long :D
@@ChallengetheWild She might be dehydrated. Soaks are fine for maintaining their humidity, like how misting is good for their eggs, but you can use a 1mL syringe to give your baby tortoise water if she is big enough. You'd then put the syringe down her throat, passing the opening of her trachea, (not in the trachea) and slowly squirting the water in
Thanks for that suggestion! I’ll try it!! I always wash her food and have extra water on it and I also see her drinking the water during her baths but I want the best for her so I’ll try it!! Thanks 😊
@@ChallengetheWild If she is drinking, you don't need to use a syringe tbh. At her age, she needs a bowl of fresh water thats no deeper than the part where her top and bottom shell meet. She also needs calcium powder and adequate exposure to uvb light, and change it every 6 months( fluorescent lamps contain mercury. So take it to home depot for CFL disposal). Idk how much uvb exposure a Herman tortoise needs though. But all reptiles need uvb exposure to stimulate the production of keratin that makes up shells and scales, and calcium as an ingredient for the said production of keratin
@@ChallengetheWild I like you. You genuinely care about the health and well being of your animals
Rain drop frog, see if it's available at the convention.
I get so jealous you have basements in America. We here in Australia don’t have basements in your houses at all unless someone decides to build a new house and put a basement. Keep walls black, looks Kool!
Aweee really! I know in souther states of the US people don't have basements.
👍
Love youuuuu
LOVE YOU MORE!
You should use Velcro for. The foam rather then tape or glue.
👏
Keep the room black it a good color
keep the black!
Thats what im thinking, it looks good tbh
hi James!!! ♥
Love it James! The fish room looks awesome! Love the wall with the logos and glow lights...I think a beige color would look really nice. I kinda wish I could have a fish room like that lol. My guppy just gave birth to like 40 babies, and it was her first time. I honestly dont know what to do with them lol🤣
The chasing could be a sign of breeding behaviour they get territorial
I want some guppy grass plant please
leave black James
Bet!
where are the triops!!!!
Leave it black
How often did you fall over trying that intro James?
AHAHAHAHHA My phone fell out of my pocket on this intro!! You can kinda see it in the background and I didnt notice until 10 minutes later when I saw it on the ground lol!!!!
@@ChallengetheWild Now I can see it!
ohhhh my he is so attractive.
Ahh I know my angel fish look SOOOOO GOOD XD
@@ChallengetheWild do they have Instagram ?
I post them sometimes on @challengethewildyt
First??? Nooo 😁
U should paint the back wall white
