Sensory Deprivation Tank Simulation, Isolation Tank, Float Tank

- Sensory deprivation tanks, also known as isolation tanks or float tanks, are lightproof and soundproof tanks filled with water that's saturated with magnesium sulfate. Sensory deprivation tanks are designed to cut off nearly all external stimuli, leading to deep relaxation and a unique sensory experience. Without regular sensory input, the brain sometimes creates its own, which can lead to hallucinations. These can be visual, auditory, or tactile.
I've created this sensory deprivation tank simulation in order to try to replicate this experience for people who don't have the access to one nearby, or are unable to cover the expenses to use it. Buying your own can be costly (typically between $2000 and $30000), and each session costs $30 to $150 on average. I wanted to try to give people a glimpse of what it could be like, but mimicking something like this is very difficult to do accurately. I also wanted to experiment, and try new video production techniques to improve my skills.
Without the usual external stimuli, the mind begins to drift, similar to the moments right before sleep. One of the most immediate and noticeable effects is profound relaxation. It can help decrease cortisol levels, the body's primary stress hormone. Some people report improved clarity of thought or breakthroughs in personal or professional challenges. In the absence of external distractions, one can have profound insights, reflections, and even moments of epiphany. For people interested in meditation and mindfulness, this can be a game-changer.
To get the most out of this video, you should attempt to reduce stimulation to your other senses and reduce the likelihood of distractions as much as possible.
Sight: Turn off the lights, or wear an eye mask.
Touch: Get comfortable! Whether that's sitting in a comfortable position or ideally lying down.
Hearing: Turn off anything nearby that emits a sound. Headphones are recommended, but not required.
Smell: Ensure there are no smells that could distract you or light your favorite incense or candle.
Breathing: Deep breath in, hold it, and release. Steady, controlled breathing until you find your rhythm.
Taste: Hydrate yourself with water. This will reduce any stimulation to your tastebuds through dilution.
These suggestions are optional but recommended. However, if you can do all of these things, it will improve your experience. Enjoy! 🙏

My insomnia has been out of control lately. Last week was 48 hours awake, 5 hours sleep. 48 hours awake, 8 hours sleep. 36 hours awake, 5 hours sleep. I felt like I was dying slowly. I think I just slept for about 11 hours straight. Finally ❤
Wow! May you have continual rest my friend.
Neden bir kliniğe gidip ilaç istemiyorsunuz? İyi geliyor ilaçlar
I feel your pain. Sometimes when I work a 48 hour week I might get 4 hours a night for 4 nights in a row. By the time the fourth shift is over I feel like I want to die. I just lay there, for hours sometimes. It's awful.
Ambien CR!!!
Hey trade ya I go month on 2 to 3 hours had a fun episode a few years ago 96 hours 0 sleep oh so fun. Now I just say hell with it take my couple hours if I can squeeze a nap all the better. I do admit though these low frequency sounds are the best at calming mind and body. Have mine set up on a speaker at head of bed high bass literally vibrates you to sleep.
I'm 1976 I was 12 years old in Sebastopol California and my dad built a sensory deprivation tank and people would come from miles around to be able to float in the dark alone and naked. True story.
Che persone interessanti ci sono fuori dal mio piccolo mondo
I'm from Sevastopol Station KG-384, also floating around in the dark. Not naked though.
Also a true Story ;)
Goodnight everyone
Goodnight! 🙏

Morning!
Good night again, 💤 sleep well slumber peacefully.
At the end of 2018 I spent an hour in an actual isolation tank and it was quite a profound experience for me, including some interesting ''visions'' that I had. Listening to this sound really creates the same experience that I had in that tank. Thank you for creating this video!
What sort of visions did you have?
@@user-jh8cx4jf7u The vision that felt most ''real'' was that I was lying on the ground and looking up at the sky. But it wasn't the usual sky. It looked like made of fabric that resembled a knitted sweater. Like an endless knitted fabric. At some point I saw a hole that formed in the fabric, at first it was small, then it started to get bigger. Another hole formed in a different place and it started getting bigger too. At first the process was slow and then this fabric started unraveling faster and faster until it was all gone. Then all I could see was dark space with lots of little sparks everywhere.
I wanna know about the visions, too! Did you envision yourself drifting into outer space?
[Edit] Oh, nvmd! Your explanation wasn't loading for me until I refreshed the page.

What is sensory deprivation to an autist?
This is so relaxing and as a autistic person I appreciate this. I wear my sleeping mask and get so comforted by this. Thank you❤
Exactly! It's awesome
I'm autistic and I think the same thing! I'm planning on doing a video on my channel sharing my experience.
Same here!
By far my favorite. Even after falling asleep this seemed to direct my dreams. No nightmares after some bad news at work today. Thank you
焚き火の音も水の音も鳥のさえずりも駄目で、528Hzも時間がかかってなかなか寝付けなかったけど、この動画でここ数日すぐ寝つけてます😊助かる……🙏
I always try to relive past traumas before bedtime as to trigger wild dreams. Then I wake up and feed my basement family and take it out on them, fulfilling the cycle righteously.
My point is people can develop many ways of relaxing before going to bed but you have to experiment and do what works best for you ultimately. Personally I find it very easy to go to sleep but waking up before I've injured myself or someone else can sometimes be a challenge with all the nightmares and unspeakable horrors whirling through the cold void of my subconscious. I much prefer being asleep to being awake though, the only time I ever truly feel at ease or free anymore is when I can't tell the difference but I'm sure most people feel like that all of the time.

According to my sleep app. I'm sleeping longer and most importantly more restful since using this video at bedtime
I was sick and feverish, struggling to sleep..this let me instantly switch off my brain and relax. Excellent work.
How are you now...hope you're a bit better!
Ive listened to a lot of these sensory videos with all the specific "notes" and that, this one is different. It sits on my ears just eight and i actually got goosebumps and was able to take a mental breath.
This noise is very relaxing.
I usually listen to rain and thunder sounds, however this is something else entirely.
I suffer with constant niggling anxiety.
As soon as I clicked on this one, I felt at ease somehow.
Very good, thank you ❤
That's great to hear! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for your feedback Jackie! ❤🙏

What’d you just call me?
its called brown noise :)
Same!! I get 3 hrs of sleep per night. This has been going on for 3 months now driving me crazy
This past summer, i floated on my back for 1.5 hours at a motel pool in southern oklahoma. The pool was not being used by anyone else and was situated at the back of the property near a woodsy area. It was during the heat dome, 104° . Most relaxing thing i ever experienced. I have to say i think i prefer the light hum of insects to manmade white noise if i could pick. I could "see" the sun through my eyelids but as my mind traveled i didn't notice it much. I would love to try a chamber tho!
There’s a place in Tulsa that has em. Really nice and I enjoyed it H2Oasis I think
It's like being on board a Starfleet ship in the cabins, so relaxing. Night! 🌜🌙⭐
I was in one of these tanks before about 5 years ago, a cool experience for sure. I would recommend it to anyone. There was no sound though like in this video.
What was it like?
@@bri_33 , Quiet and Dark, it didn't feel like floating on water either, because the high salt content buoyed you. This will be difficult to explain, but you were "inside yourself." Make of that what you will. You should go for the experience.
@@erichvonmolder9310Is it true you hallucinate? Or did you only see pitch blackness?
@@HelpMeFindTheseSongs turn out the lights for you next bath and submerge yourself under the water. Do you hear anything? It's not the time or darkness that causes hallucinations... it's the fear of being left alone in that space that forces the mind to make sense of the situation you're in. And don't forget that a walk on experience is MUCH different than being stripped of your will to act.
@@HelpMeFindTheseSongs , I did not hallucinate, maybe if I went again I would.
This sends coherent frequencies into my brain so my entire body including all it’s tissue and muscles can relax. Thank you ❤
This is one of the best sleeping tracks I've come across lately!
This shit massages my brain somehow and it's amazing. Massage my brain to sleep. Perfect. Great video, gets me sleeping great.
Exactly how it feels. Massaging
Lately I haven’t heard the hum I really like (yes, THAT hum) and this was a really nice fix. Thank you
not the dang hum ghosting you bruh
Been listening to the for several nights. Now I find it difficult to fall asleep without it. I also feel I am sleeping more deeply. I need to get some wireless earbuds so I can listen all night!
This is really crazy. I usually measure my sleep score with an app, and after listening to this, my score was over 90 for the first time. Absolutely the best.

I want to thank you in advance Anthony, for uploading this precisely when I need it! Looking forward to using it here in a little while when I go to sleep. Loved your work for years now. I appreciate your efforts!✝⚔💜
It’s so cool that you wrote this, because I was really needing this right now too, and after I saw your comment I looked to see that it had JUST been uploaded a few hours ago! I wouldn’t have even noticed that if you hadn’t commented, ai thought it just came up because I was searching through my insomnia playlist😂😍
Thanks Jackie! That means a lot. ❤️
What'd you think of the video?
PS, slept like a baby! I am recovering from a neurological infection & this helped my brain activity settle down so I could really rest. And my adult son is trying to detox from alcohol, and he is still asleep without waking up every 3 hours starting to shake. I can't thank you enough! Blessings to you! Folks this does wonders, try it. 💯❤💯❤💯
This has been calming me down immensely, and it's been helping me go to sleep so much better. I'm so glad I found this.
Thank you so much for this. My mind is quiet for once
By far one of the most soothing ambience videos ive evrr tried. Subscribed my friend and thanks for the good nights sleep
Thank you so much! Last night I slept so well! The best I have in years! This sound simulation is such a gift! Amazing!
Listening to these things makes me literally feel like I'm accessing my higher self and entering a whole new reality all together this is so relaxing and I love the visuals they feel very spiritual whether or not anyone else feels the same you could have a different experience but I feel like I know more than usual listening to things like this either way amazing ambient and visuals!
you wouldn't question wheater or not it's literally happening or not if it really happened, you attention seekers are so big L, but yeah upvote your fake little egos.
"feeling like I know more"
@@PuppetMasterdaath144...yeah? Meditation and especially void states like this open your mind up and you do in fact know more lol

Amazing I've tried everything. This is the best whole family listens to it..❤❤❤
it reminds me of running a space sim and the constant sound of the engine thrust is very much like this
This is a rare gem. Thank you for bringing me such peace of mind, and deep sleep!! 😴 🙏🏼
I prefer your video ; it allows me quick relaxation and blocks auditory disturbances throughout the night.
I don't think I will ever use a real sensory deprivation chamber. I am terrified of what my brain would come up with on its own. I have been through some tough situations, abused by an ex, and I still have frequent waking nightmares. No thanks, no sensory dep for me! I am very thankful you made such a remarkable ASMR!!
No podemos porque es carísimo andaban diciendo qué era gratis para la humanidad yo sabía qué no era cierto eso .
Absolutely beautiful and relaxing, in these times of stress and confinement it is always pleasant to hear such beautiful melodies
Thank you so much for your time and effort in making this. I love it. Good night ❤
Very relaxing. For a little while I felt like I was floating. Very illuminating also. 10/10. Love this. I have a new nightly channel.
This makes my brain happy.
Thank you, Anthony. This still my mind quickly for meditation. Love it! I'm grateful for all your videos. God bless. 💗🕊
This is very creative and I’m really enjoying it. I don’t have the financial means to experience a float tank so thank you for creating this. Subscribed. ❤
Thank you so much for creating this. I’ve had GI discomfort all night and, though I still do, i can be more relaxed about it due to your calming empty space sounds.
best meditation video I've found in 10 years
Thank you for sharing this, it really helps me sleep!
Who else is driven crazy by the jerk, just when you are drifting off? The body decides to jerk you awake, with a minor arm or leg jerk, but sometimes violently, when the whole body nearly jumps out of bed? In addition to all the external threats to one’s life that must be dealt with, one must fight one’s own body to get some rest. I can see this leading to some to finally give up. Let’s see the body jerk back to life after, ya know.
This is the best sleep sound I've found so far!
I really love this one. Thank you.
Your artistic contributions, are above and beyond. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank you ever so much.
Hey stranger, I love you
I love ya back :v
First time I listened to this was the other night. Was the best sleep I ever had minus the sleep paralysis demon that came in uninvited saying hello and touching me like I was some child ready to be woken up from nap time, smh. 😒😑 Second night was pretty okay but man this is so powerful I nearly almost missed work it made me sleep so deeply. 😅 Time for the third go of this and kick insomnia in the ass. 😎

The foetus gently submerged in the floatation tank,
No competition for ranking,
Cosmic energy that it was spiritually banking,
Feeling the warm embrace of the connectedness,
Sparks of the Divine glowing in its form,
Safe, comforted and cushioned from any impeding storm,
Being carressed with lightness and buoyancy, like a spiritual ship on still waters,
The first breath of life in these calming soothing waters.
