The music gets intensive pretty fast here. I've tried my best to make it softer for the ear. It reminds me a bit of Russell Browers's Naxxramas music. P.S.: Only Dornogal video left for The War Within series. Blizzard absolutely nailed the spider-vibe and creepiness in this zone, the violins sound breathtaking. I just love how unique every zone looks and sounds.
To my greatest surprise I love this spider-filled, old god blood-oozing, void-shadowed cave much more than I anticipated it at first look last year. And the music is a huge part of this. And ofc Mr. Sunflower!
There are things I fell in love with, just starting watching this one. Interesting/promising place. If only it didn't remind me quite a bit of Shadowmoon Valley, the excessive use of blue in the background (or the ground) is bound to get in the way sometimes. The music seems a bit too intense indeed, I expected less loud instruments on this one. But it probably makes sense lore wise(?) ...dunno what takes place here. Wait, give or take halfway through it rn, it started feeling right again. Maybe 100% right...!🥳 Much less blue too. The second half feels especially good, mon. Dare I say, some old-school vibes in there.
I think I've enjoyed very little of WoW's music that goes beyond Classic WoW. Something always distracts me from modern WoW music. You did a good job with this video though and some of the songs are pretty cool.
@@Mercymurv They're often just not as ambient as in the beginning, yeah :s Still mostly of high quality, though, so it's okay. And TBC/WotLK had some louder parts too so I generally lean towards the impression that most ppl just exaggerate nowadays (for various -usually obvious- reasons). But you said beyond classic so... I obviously understand why, and why you're not actually exaggerating (tastes differ, of course, and sometimes expand). Still, do yourself a favor and give another chance to the most relaxing parts of Cata/WoD at least. I could never remember them all at once but there are existing videos that include several of them, based on some themes (class or expansion, etc... some day I'll search for a complete playlist or make a detailed&organized list of such tracks myself, who knows when). Many of them could easily grow on you. Maybe you've already given many of these a chance but I cannot know, so I gotta assume you haven't. And (a hint:) perhaps Derek Duke will have even more truly ambient tracks in store, since (afaik) he's the main guy involved in most of the soothing ones I always liked.
@@hawkstrike18 Wow, thanks for the detailed response. I quit WoW at the start of Cata, and returned way later during BFA, finding that much of the music, such as the track that plays in Stormwind, is now very distracting each time I hear it. I'll look up Cata and WoD and see what I can find, and Derek Duke as you mentioned. The only music that I've enjoyed since returning to WoW has been like 1-2 songs in Dragonflight centaur arena, and not for relaxation purposes. I subscribed to your channel if you happen to make a compilation playlists in the future, if not no biggie. Thanks again for the recommendations.
More and more I feel like the Diablo and WoW soundtracks are converging to one another. I had this video on in the background and wasn't sure if I had the D4 or WW soundtrack on.

As many say, they nailed the creepy, uneasy feel of the zone with the spiders and such.
I love how sinister and unsettling but beautiful the music feels in this area
if revendreth and nazjatar had a baby...
such an exquisite combination.
Imagine Daddy D and Azshara, together, under a tree..
Damn that initial shot is fantastic! One of your best openings yet
A beautiful dark composition. Love the violins!
We need more spider lore in WoW
A other good vidoe dude keep you rock
loving this
Very nice and mysterious, reminds of the Hellraiser soundtrack
Thank you very much for this beautiful compilation ❤
