Blizzards art, music and sound design team just cannot stop winning. Maybe the same can't be said for the other parts of the game, but The War Within might be their best world design and sound work yet. One of the best ambiences I've experienced in fantasy, and this video shows that perfectly!
I totally agree! especially when you compare the newer ones. I liked dragonflight in many ways because after shadowlands I was really worried about the game so when they came with dragonflight i was relieved. Now that war within came it felt more complete again. And like you said the art, music and sound design team have really outdone themselves once again.
A comment for you so that the algorithm notices, because this channel has been of inexpressible help to my creativity and mental health. Please keep up the good work, but not too hard!
Blizz art and music has always carried the load even when gameplay hasn't been the greatest, but Khaz Algar's art and music is top tier throughout and the game is pretty good too. This one's quite reminiscent of Boralus and Tirisgarde Sound from BFA, and not in a bad way, there's also been parts that remind of WotLK Cata and Pandaria era music. Heck, some of these themes wouldn't sound out of place in an A-list movie, I thought parts were very reminiscent of the Shire from LotR. There's also one bit of the Isle of Dorn music that reminds me very strongly of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. And that's not a criticism, that's another great game that is elevated by its music. Hope Nintendo isn't paying too close attention :D Great vid Meisio, looking forward to the rest - but at your own pace!
