Life on a farm is sometimes hard. I'm glad you are strong enough to do what is sometimes nessassary. Take care ! I'm a 69 year old farmer from north Georgia USA.
Am in love with this family and all of their animals. Was very sad you had to help along the lambs and really felt your pain. Necessary and heartbreaking. I admire your hard work and really appreciate your philosophy.
I'm actually very happy that you are filming in public, mostly because I've wanted to see more of Sweden, even small downs. The buildings, the people, the landscape and skylines....EVERYTHING!!
Tova you are incredible. Taking care of the animals, land and Ivar all while hubby is away. Bless your heart I know it must be so hard to loose baby sheep. You are one strong lady! Love watching your videos!
Tova, you have enormous patience. To live the life you've chosen requires patience. Most people could not survive a day in your life. Loved seeing you filming and narrating. You did wonderfully well.
Thank you for the videos very good I envy you and your family it's not easy but very rewarding. I was raised in the cascade mtns in Oregon state was taught at youg age to live off the land and survive your life style brings back alot of feelings for me thank you
Hello wonderful people of Talasbuan. Just wanted to let you know that we have been a fan of your lifestyle from day one. We have seen all your episodes. You have inspired us to be free. We sold our house, sold our company and now roam Europe freely in our campervan. We also try to film our lifes, but have only just started. Thank you for being you and helping us making this decision!
This is very inspiring. So encouraging to know their culture and lifestyle prompted your move. I feel their intentional living portrayed in these videos does just that! Wishing you well on your journey.
I understand what you were saying Tova. I was raised on a farm. I am 65. Baby animals are quite beautiful...the weak ones only suffer. You're a strong, brave woman. I watched you give birth. You are a warrior. You did the right thing. Survival of the fittest is the natural order of life. ❤
Sweet babies - I'm so sorry for your loss and that you, Tova, had to deal with that alone. You are such a brave, hard-working family. I hope spring comes soon and that your garden and animals thrive well this year. Much love to you all!
Tova, Mathias and Ivar it is always, and I truly mean, always a joy to watch your videos. I could spend hour after hour and never grow tired of hearing you all speak. All that you share is such an enormous blessing to my life. Just a few moment ago I became a supporter via Patreon. I am so happy to share my blessings with you. As more blessings come my way I shall give them to you all! Much love from my family to yours. God Bless! ~ John
Nice job on the solo shoot, Tova. You expressed yourself perfectly! I love hearing the sheep chew...it's so intense and matter-of-fact and it sounds like they have very sharp teeth! Thank you for another lovely video.
I would cry as well, Tova, for the lost lambs & I would also be so nervous about filming in public. I couldn't do it lol. Wonderful music, Mathias, I'm going to give them a listen. Well done as always, thank you 💖💖💖
I am hoping to start raising Icelandic sheep for my families needs here in South Dakota USA. I appreciate your sharing your regenerative grazing ideas. Last year you share some good books to read. I enjoy knowing people all over the world are trying to spread this information! Thank you!
Icelandics should do well in South Dakota. They are hardy and can thrive on forage that others do not do as well on. They may need shade in the summer if you are located in an area that gets very hot.
Beautiful music and a tender reflection on the great Circle of Life. Such an intimate portrait of your self reliant life. Beautiful family. Much respect! ❤
Tova, I'm so sorry for the loss of your baby lambs. I had to stop to wipe away my tears for you, the two mamas and sole sibling! He seemed to look for his brother but quickly took some straw to comfort himself and let you know he would manage somehow. This was a bitter sweet vlog with you mourning a loss without the warm comfort of Mathias. We know his course on regenerative farming is an education he can not afford to go without. What's marvelous is that you stay strong and carry on as always. Love your garden illustration! Yes, we too are wondering what to plant, and where, with cool days hanging on here in the midwest states. Loved seeing you and family spend time over great meals! We look forward to spring and its new hope! ❤
Thank you very much for this wonderful and down to earth video. It's fun to see that you also suddenly get some surprise lambs early on. Nature really always lives its own life, for better or for worse. The course of life with little lambs is a roller coaster where the path between happiness and death can be so short. Our condolences to those who died. We are already looking forward to your next video.
Your friends music is beautiful i really enjoyed hearing it. And Tova you should feel confident on camera because you look beautiful & authentic. Thank you for sharing. 🙂🇨🇦❤🙏
Gratitude dear friends for this beautiful video! No, Mathias, you have not lost your creativity! Those first scenes of the video with oblique light on objects is Vermeer like sublime! I'm so sorry for the two little lambs, I could really feel Tova's sadness and emotion. Thank you for sharing all your moments with us the happy and sad ones. Lovely show, I love your friend's music, quite atmospheric! Your videos are always a monthly treat for me, dear friends! Love you three 💙💙💙
Your friends play and sing well! 🎵 The lambs are so cute...so sorry you lost two. Nice day out in the sun with your family. Heres to a good spring and summer! 👍😎🇨🇦🌱⭐
Tack för ännu en fin, rofylld, omväxlande och jordnära film - blir alldeles varm i hjärtat av att se erat lugn med både barn och djur. Och att ni visar livet med djur som det är, med både glädje och sorg 🥰!
Loved this, especially those precious moments between you three and the baby lamb! -- Adorable to give the lamb some family time and cuddles with his loving big brother, Ivar! Always looking forward to the next time! Thanks, again! 🥰🙏🏼
Mom u are confident and yr family and lifestyle proves so. Yr a beautiful family that touches hearts all over the world, now that is unconditional love and perseverance. 💙🐂💕💙🐒🐯🐎 Hug Ivar for us!
So sorry for your loss Tova, your a strong woman , I have been watching your channel for years now , it has really helped me relax and I learn a lot from watching and listening , I live in Northern Canada, I have three grown children but was not able to have them naturally so I really enjoyed also being able to witness when you brought Ivar into the world, you and your husband are so loving and Ivar is so cute and intelligent , I wish you all the best, I share your videos at times with others too who also said to me that through the Pandemic watching your videos helped them cope with lock down here in Canada, we are in Ontario , it was really a hard time for the kids too. Thank You for sharing your life with us and your skills and knowledge , such a blessing.❤
You will become more confident as you age, at least I have. I am 72 I say and do the things that please me. I try to be always kind ect. Negative emotion is a waste of energy. I do not worry, the universe always provides in an unexpected way. I strive to improve the person within. Keep of the good work.
Dear Tova, I admire you very much, thank you for your words, thank you for showing us your daily lives. I admire you three, for your hard work, intelligence, great farmers! wonderful family! Love from Uruguay ❤
I’m so sorry that you lost the lambs, and Tova had to deal with it, it couldn’t be easy, but the survived ones are so good and cute. Love the way Ivar snuggled the lamb. Thanks for sharing, love your videos.❤
When seeing and hearing that lady singing, it reminds me of Marie Fredriksson from Roxette. She was a great Swedish singer. Missing her a lot....so sad she pass away already...😭
All three of you and your friends and family are so much fun to watch. You are doing a great job with the animals. I enjoy all of your efforts and ideas. Thank you for doing this.
You both work so hard and live such an exemplary life that most would shy away from - you are doing something so beautiful for your child and the environment- it was nice to see you enjoy a night or two off ❤❤❤
Even though it’s part of farm life, I’m sorry you had to go through the loss of those lambs. Life is precious and makes the heart sad when it is lost. Especially with the little ones. You showed great strength Tova!! Love to see Ivar being so tender with the baby. He’s such a special little boy. Great parents he has!!
You are such an amazing family! Tova - I understand your sadness completely--losing an animal is never easy. You're a strong woman. The way you're bringing up Ivar is wonderful.
Another mesmerizing video! Your friends are very talented! Tova you are wonderful and appear very confident on camera. You did a wonderful job with the sheep even though it was hard! Thanks for taking us along!
I have watched baby goats die, it's heartbreaking. You are dear, sensitive, and strong; there is nothing weak about that. Thank you for this video; I hope your garden produces an abundance of food.
Oh my Tova you are such a strong woman. You gave a natural birth yourself & did it so beautifully. We farm women know the highs & lows of raising animals. The highs outnumber the sad times. Yes, spring brings everything fresh & new. You both have raised a smart, amazing young man with all the best of two of you. What a beautiful song & group, much enjoyed. Thank you for allowing me to join you in your journey through life.
Hi Tova, I think you are narrating this video very well. I'm so sorry for the loss of the lambs and happy that some survived😊😊👍💙♥️ Give your beautiful boy a big hug from me😁 I have three boys of my own, all grown up. It all goes so fast so enjoy these early days. Take care and hang in there from Wisconsin💙💚♥️
Lovely video to watch as always. Such a kind and loving family. Sorry about the loss of your lambs. Glad to see two survived. To a you do a fine job on camera. Always genuine and authentic.
Actually I do think, you can talk in front of the camera very well! Love how you give context and the way you explain. Would love more videos from you on gardening, herbs, creams....and patience 🙂
love the simple and heartfelt way you let us enter your life ! Keep the beautiful drone flights coming also. My Mother was born in Sweden and father in Norway, so your two different heritages rings so true to me growing up as it comes up in the videos. Enjoy the little guy they grow up so fast .
Jag lär mig svenska :) will def check out the pole siblings! Love watching your sheep. It must be so hard to cull the flock when necessary. You have my sympathy. I’m looking forward to your garden as well as my own. I too lack patience. We regularly eat under cooked food cause I can’t stand waiting any longer. Quick fixes have many benefits! May the sun rise further every day for you 😉 and the patreons.
So sorry they did not make it, it is a difficult time of year for the little ones to be born, the cold can have a effect for sure but I am sure there are factors that may only be guessed at. Thank you for sharing your journey.
We always strip the ewe's tests (nipples) as soon after they lamb to clear the wax plug out. Makes if fat easier for the kids to nurse. And soak the kid's umbilical cord in iodine quickly. They can easily absorb bacteria off the straw and get sick or die. Also, in cold weather we frequently bring the lambs in a heated area 1 at a time and dry them off well. Sometimes use a hair drier to get them dry and toasty. The biggest health risk to lambs is a draft. And as soon as they can stand fairly stable we make sure they get to the teat and nurse. It can be frustrating with some of them, but it makes a huge difference on my farm. I'm sure you know all this. But sometimes 1 little trick can be the difference in keeping the lamb alive. On very weak lambs we have sometimes kept them in the cellar overnight after they get a good dose of colostrum from mom, and if they refuse to nurse we have saved icecube sized portions of colostrum in the freezer from a mom that had previously lost a kid for emergency use and feed the weak lamb with an eyedropper. Hope at least something in here might help you out. Best of luck.
Your videos are so beautiful!! The Cinematolgrapy is just amazingl!! I love Ivar too pieces he is so smart and so adorable!! You are such a wonderful Father so patient and kind! Don't ever stop making these wonderful videos!
Tova your words were lovely and I liked seeing you both in another part of your life, meaning off the farm. It is so good that Mathias is learning about keeping the farm healthy. You both are a super team.
Dear Mathias, I can really imagine, how you feel about coming home to the place of childhood, you are talking about. Next year, I will be at my place ( in my school, where I had been more than 30 years ago) and will sing there in a classical concert and read passages from my book" winterreise". That will be very emotional, to be there and to see old friends. Dear Tova, it seems to be hard to think about your garden, while winter is going on, your fence has collapsed, and you are so sad about the problems with your lambs, but your life is filled with sense and joy aswell. I like that so much and I am full of respect about that.
Tovar you are so resilient. I enjoyed seeing your video showing us the important moments of regenerative life. You ended your week by sharing moment of generational family fun enjoying burgers! Simplicity. Thank you both for sharing some special moments.
Sorry about the little lambs...It's too bad you had to go thru it all alone. It's your "mother's heart" that's hurting. Farming is hard in many ways. ❤
When our lambs were born early and nature and time was against them we would place them in a cardboard box next to the stove to ward off the cold, until they were warmed through and dry enough to withstand the cold shock for what are basically infants, it saved many good lambs which would have died otherwise.
Congratulations on the new additions. Having goats myself I know the joy and sorrow of newborns and problems that arise. My two LaMancha does will drop here about 1 maybe 2 months. Will be looking forward to their milk again. 😊It is Spring here in Texas and I know you are looking forward to spring there. Thanks for sharing and always look forward to your videos.
You do come across as confident! But that does'nt mean not to smile & have fun which you do! Sometime's that draws attention because they want to know who you are to be so confident! You must be some one special, some one well known! Nothing wrong with that! : )
Glad to see all your episodes, an informative and inspiring. Continue to be a blessing to your family and environment. Ivar is getting so Smart. God speed. G
Hello from u.s.a. I would had cried also. Lambs are so cute.watching your videos has been interesting learning many things, (always a good thing). About country life in Sweden ect. Take care.
Nice video! Even if you had a sad time I think that nature knows best. You are doing a great job. A farmer's life is not always an easy one, but it is quite "naturally" than a life in the city which is becoming so far from nature. Besides the music of Pole Siblings is beautiful!
My what a busy time you had Tova while Mathias was away! Thank you for sharing both the joy and the pain of the life cycle on the farm. I'm sure it was difficult but you took the necessary steps. It seems you both are very devoted to doing all you can to give the animals the best chance to be healthy and survive, but of course you don't have control over all of the eventualities. Best wishes to you both for a prosperous spring!!

Hope at least something in here might help you out. Best of luck.
Really fantastic! I love watching you! So beautiful what you are showing us in al its beautiful simplicity. Thank you! It makes me cry always.
Tova, you are in my thoughts & prayers. Life is not always easy!

Always look forward to new content and I saw it minute's after your posting it. Very nice.
Tova your words were lovely and I liked seeing you both in another part of your life, meaning off the farm. It is so good that Mathias is learning about keeping the farm healthy. You both are a super team.
Let the light of the nights sky guide you through the darkness
Loved the video! You guys are working super hard but you seem very happy and at peace ☺
Wonderful...thank you 💜👏🏽 congratulations on your new lambs. Love your family 🙏🏽💜
It's always nice to see old friends ❤ Lovely little lambs. 💕 So sad few died. Lovely Springtime to you all. ✨🌿🌷🌞🌷🌿✨
You are doing a wonderful job filming Tova. I am so sorry for the loss of the baby lambs. Ivar was so cute with the baby lamb.
Your filming is so incredible. It’s just so beautiful to watch what’s happening on your little farm. God bless your family.
Sorry about the little lambs...It's too bad you had to go thru it all alone. It's your "mother's heart" that's hurting. Farming is hard in many ways. ❤
Good morning. ❤❤❤
I just adore your sweet family and farm. Tova, you are so beautiful and strong. Your friends music was so, so beautiful !! ♥️
Raising animals is not for the faint of heart. You are doing very well. Gardening dreams are important as we emerge out of darkness and cold.
God speed.

I bet that sun feels lovely!
Hello from u.s.a. I would had cried also. Lambs are so cute.watching your videos has been interesting learning many things, (always a good thing). About country life in Sweden ect. Take care.
Thank you for that video. It’s alway very interesting and informative. You have a beautiful simple life.thanks for sharing to with us.🇨🇦
Your wonderful human being❤love your videos
