I experience the same issues in the winter months-it is called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). This is where you have depressive symptoms during the same time every year-I have found that using a S.A.D. lamp daily helps tremendously, they are on Amazon for good prices and definitely worth it! Keep your chin up-it will get better soon🥰
A lot of the UA-camrs I watch say that they feel like their normal day to day life is too boring to vlog and people will be bored with it, but honestly I would watch anything you put up. Just feels like hanging out with a friend ☺️ and my days are filled with work, cooking and cleaning so I know it’s hard to find time to do the other fun things that people will find “interesting” lol
I love how you never miss a chance to throw in a "that's what she said". And omg your dad taking pics of Bernardito🥺🥰🐶
Some ideas: Take us on decorating your beauty room (planning, shopping, and putting it together), top ten movies of all time, maybe “must haves for college, dorm room”, go through your fave five receipts for tofu. Food and other products you get for Bernard. Start a “try something out of your comfort zone series”, with something new or out of your comfort zone every month.
I would love to go shopping with you and see you cooking, hauls and also self care 😘 love you girl.
Your home is beautiful! You’ve created spaces (from what we can see) where a person can feel comfy & not worry about if it’s ok to sit, or scared to move. I’ve done interior decor for 10 yrs as a side hustle w/ a friend who is an actual interior designer. Anywhere from high profile, the bachelor, small fam, to newlyweds. You’ll get there I promise! An important thing is that even tho u like diff styles, U know what u like. Decor/design is fleeting. Some even fads. But if u can create a solid foundation, (neutrals maybe?), pieces can easily be changed out/rearranged, added/removed… give urself some credit!💪👍❤️

Can we just talk about how AMAZING Jas' skin looks!? Also, I feel you on the month between December and January where you're just unmotivated. This past December my younger Sister passed away, and I was out of commission. I couldn't do anything, no motivation, nothing. It's February now and I'm finally getting back to working out and attempting to live my life. Love watching you Jas!
aside from my bipolar depression, i definitely get 'post holiday blues' every year! i feel so unmotivated and down at the end of december and all through january. it sucks! stay strong
I love shopping with you especially Walmart and when you decorate your home.
Self care, cooking, and cleaning/organizing. Those things are major goals of mine to key in on and watching yours just helps motivate me and you have the most calming and best friend presence.
Graduated college in December as a Medical Administrative Assistant, my first son is due April 4th! So aside from trying to be the best mom I can be. My goal for this year is getting back into the work field. My husband & I buying our home!
I cannot decorate so I just started with black, gray plants and natural woods (I have kids and pets) because I can not afford to do anything bold that I will regret or have to switch out often. I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice it has came out over time.
I have the same feelings alll winter long!! I don't know if its due to my mental illnesses or what, but you are not alone!! I HATE this time of year. Everything is cold, dreary and just BLAH!! I count down the days till we switch our clocks ahead (March 8th) and the 1st day of Spring (March 20th). I get so happy when I start to see the annual flowers coming out of the ground, trees start budding and the birds start chirping again!! Spring and Summer are my FAVORITE time of year!! As for your vlogs, I LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE YOU DO!! I especially love your daily life... ie: what you eat in a day and of course your come shop with me ones!!! Love you, Jas!! Walmart haul at my house looked a lot like your last haul video. 💖 I do not put timelines on my resolutions and I keep them simple. This year: laugh out loud at least once a day, write down one thing every night on a scrap of paper with something I'm happy about or grateful for from that day, then on New Years Eve I open the jar and read all the happy things from the year. It's about being happy, not putting pressure on yourself. 🥰
My favorite videos of yours are day in the lives, even if you’re not doing anything! I love you showing your at home life just normal everyday stuff! I love your grocery hauls, maybe you could show more of you preparing the food you buy. I love when you show us your recipes! And of course target and tjmaxx hauls ♥️

I agree with you 100 percent. As thankful as I am for the New Year I’m never motivated to just jump start everything…. It usually takes me a min but I usually get the ball rolling. My goals are my finances and my mental space… I wish you a very blessed and happy new year
It's perfectly normal to feel exhausted at year end...the high from the Holidays, plus all the hustle and bustle associated with it, leaves us drained. Then the New Year rolls around, where it feel right to mentally prepare to start fresh, clean out the clutter in our homes and in our minds! I love the two pictures above your dresser - they are so pretty and girlie. I tried making home made Brownies once, and they came out like flavorless bricks. The only kind I use now is Pillsbury from a box - super easy, and so fudgy and soft! I'm the baker in my family, and for birthdays, they ask for them all the time! Bernard's tail wagging under the blanket, and the sound of it hitting the bed was too adorable! He's so happy to see his Mommy! That Rare Beauty Sweatshirt color is SO pretty - I think rosey shades are the most flattering! I'm an easy subscriber, where I know a lot aren't...my favorite videos are to watch you doing your makeup! Your skin is flawless, your eyes are so big and pretty when you do your eyeshadow (I'm envious, because I have small eyes, so not a lot of space for eyeshadows), and they are so relaxing to watch! Love from NJ - I love watching the snow fall...it IS the most beautiful time!
January burn out is a real thing! It’s from our dopamine crash after the holidays. It’s tough for sure. I think that’s why a lot of people will set goals and “resolutions” to give them something to focus on again.
I personally don’t set resolutions, i set mindsets or “vibes”. Ex: how do i want to feel at the end of the year? Mentally, physically and emotionally.

I relayed to the decorating portion of this so much! We recently moved and I went from greys and blacks and whites to browns and tans and creams and it’s so hard for me to find a style and decorate!! Also would love to see in clogs taking about how you motivate and discipline yourself and self care/treating yourself, all about that balance!!

I love what you said about goals/NYE resolutions. I have started calling everything a ‘goal’ for myself because a resolution sounds like there is a problem to solve or that if I don’t achieve it I fail. However I find that goals are a lot more realistic as you can always keep striving to achieve them, if that makes sense. That’s what I have found works for me anyway!

Have you considered maybe doing apartment tours for those who want to relocate to PA? I think it’s easier for you to do it since you’re a local. But make it a fun like, “If I didn’t own and I wanted to explore PA, where would I rent?” Also, a blog on the best spots of PA-restaurants (hole in the walls), best bakeries, activities. Take us along with you on blogs so you can show others what PA has to offer and possibly give people ideas on what to do in PA!

So I felt the same way at one point. I love home decor and furniture but I didn't know what exactly my style was. I went on pinterest and browsed for inspo that I loved, and then decided I like anything that's modern farmhouse, modern Mediterranean, modern chic decor. I tend to gravitate towards balck and white. Straight lines. Mirrors. Cozy vibes. So I buy items and try to curate a vision based off of my pinterest board! It helped a lot 🥰

I feel the exact same way at the start of the year. That’s how I’ve felt all of January. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one like that 😅
I don't do New Year's resolutions... you end up not doing them and that just makes you feel bad about yourself. Instead I set goals and set them all throughout the year. What I do instead is a New Years jar.. I add notes to the jar all year of special moments, or a kind word someone said to me, or a quote I like.. happy things that happen all year and then on New Years Day.. I pull them all out and read them to remind me that I had a good year, because we tend to forget the amazing small things that happen and instead focus on the negative. I then put them in an envelope and put the year on them. Sometimes I will pull out an old year and read them again. It has been a wonderful tradition!!
Same I have to drive to pass my driving license test and I’m unmotivated and scared. That’s my mail goal for the year. I love you Jas you’re always inspiring me and hearing you talk about anything is so therapeutic.💓

I'm excited to pay off a couple of big things!! My hubby and I have made a few lists of priorities for this year. Highest, Medium, Low, and Not a priority. It has helped us make sure that we aren't overwhelming ourselves.

We are so similar lol I thought I was the only person who felt that sluggishness the end /beginning of the year ! I also get the WORST anxiety from due dates - I have an at home bakery and I get sooo anxious when I know a date is approaching even though I know I will get the order done in time !
December is the hardest month of the year for me, so I always dread when the end of the year comes around...and I stopped making New Year's resolutions years ago because like you said you can work on yourself and accomplish your goals anytime...yes, those scammers are getting out of hand. I was messaged a few times from your channel, but I knew it wasn't you.

One of the things I think you might enjoy is adding a few warm tones into your house. You like things cozy and I know you have a lot of grays. Sometimes the warmth of natural wood or baskets or throws can look sophisticated with grays and it can also give you more cozy vibes. And I don’t know if you’ve seen the latest drama about Juvias Place. I thought of you because I know you are obsessed with that bronzer duo. Love your vlogs. Maybe you could also do some vlogs about the area you live in. I always find it interesting to see parts of the country I don’t live in 😊. Your walks with Bernard and your hubby look so beautiful. Edited to add: one of my favorite mixed drinks is Malibu coconut rum, cranberry juice and a splash of pineapple juice, so yummy (very similar to what you made)! My family calls it the Teresa drink lol

Man I do that and I'm only 16 years old! I hate things that are scheduled too because I get high anxiety and I even take meds for anxiety but especially when there is a morning appointment the night before it become hard to sleep and I wake up constantly and look at the clock!! I would suggest things like this video like more day in your life or stuff or just more normal day in a life!! I think it's so much fun!! For example like cook with you/a day in your life!!

We need to get our flooring done and we’ve been through so many samples finally picked one, but now decided to paint before the flooring goes in 😩 now to figure out what color I go with. I like to stick with 3-5 colors usually colors that make me feel happy or that I just like. Then, I create mood boards on Pinterest and save all the ideas of spaces that I like. I analyze the space several times of how I want to arrange everything before I even go out to buy anything. Lastly, I always make the space work for me and what I buy has to
1-be practical
2-with the 3 B’s
3-be a cute decor piece

Those brownies are typically pretty good, it might have just been the egg replacer that crumbled them in the oven but another substitute that works is one whole banana. Yeah you'll get the taste of chocolate and banana in the brownies but it comes out really good. Make them for my mom when she wants something sweet since they're low in sugar too.

You need more color in your house. That doesn’t mean bright, although a nice orange on the walls of a dining room with white wanes coating, borders, crown molding is fire. You can do pops of color in the form of an accent wall being the colored wall. Also you can apply interesting fabric on the wall as wallpaper. Mix complimentary colors together. Turquoise, coral, and yellow different patterned coach pillows. Trinkets in groupings of things you like
