  • In this video I am turning two night stands into modern furniture flip. This amazing night stand make over was so much fun and a great furniture DIY home project. This modern night stand furniture flip I found them on Facebook Marketplace with two dressers. They got a whole new look with a great 3d stencil design and new paint. Painted Furniture that gives lots of character.

These turned out beautiful, Meg! What a difference with the stencil and this color is so slick. Love them!

I love the idea of 3D stencil 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 but personally I’d lightly sand the stencil do that it’s not rough; cos when it’s rough it scratches ur skin & catches on ur clothes if u get too close. Also the rougher the texture the more it catches dust & other airborne particles.

    They're so awesome 😍
But I think it will be better to sand lightly the stenciled areas. They're too ruff I think they will be hard to clean

Came here to suggest this. I love a raised stencil, especially when done in the same colour, but it needs to be sanded down to be smoother. Wiping it down in the future will leave lots of little fuzzies from your cloth stuck to the jagged edges.

What’s the reason you tint your primers?

I prefer grey primer underneath grey, black and blue. Gives better coverage
