I've heard this song a few times before I also realized it is tribute to Johnny Thunders...the lyrics name check Johnny Thunders and NYDolls songs..the C.Kings hung out with,recorded and gigged a couple times in Rochester N.Y.. with JT in the late 80's ,I've also read in the JT bio ,that originally he was gonna be called johnny volume...
