Instead of his down special having the barrel be thrown overhead, DK should roll it underhand like a bowling ball as a nod to the original 1981 Arcade game
Maybe his down throw would be putting the foe in a barrel, then him slamming the barrel with his arms. And his victory animation could be the goofy dance he does in the dk rap on his turn. This will be an endless one, it won’t stop on a pose.
Imagine sniping someone offstage with a plucked item (the Up Smash could create a small projectile, like Villager's Side Smash) Also, Sonic's moveset would benefit from some modding...

I have a cool new idea for DK's Final Smash. "Kickin' It Old School" He starts out the Final Smash with an enraged look on his face while the "Game Start" theme from the original Donkey Kong game plays. Then, he smashes the ground with his fists so hard that ladders, girders and barrels start falling down from the sky! The barrels deal 30% of damage, the girders deal 20% of damage, and the ladders deal 10% of damage. No one will be safe from this Final Smash, as this one is really tough to survive. DK can move and attack freely once this Final Smash is in effect. This references one of his attacks in his Super Donkey Kong form in Skylanders: Superchargers.
Can I make a weirder request? I’d love to see how you would change characters like Luigi, because they feel like echo fighters but AREN’T. Luigi himself is my most wanted considering his potential!

Almost every move that his mains frequently use are either devastating, disrespectful, or both; like volcano kick, sui-side-b, or the stomp respectively. His slowness makes it satisfying to land hits because it means you've outsmarted your opponent, or it means you took advantage of undeserved luck. This is definitely looking into things too much, but even his low-tier placement reflects his villain status, since villains aren't meant to win. It would be nice if his design had more thought than a heavyweight Captain Falcon with Ike's smash attacks, but Ganondorf is still fun to watch and play regardless of his faithfulness. I hope this wasn't too long of a read.
After Kirby I'm giving the vote to Sonic out of all the third parties Sonic doesn't represent his franchise I know can say Pac-Man doesn't represent his franchise either but what makes him unique is that his moves represent the history of Bandai Namco so this is why I choose Sonic out of all the third parties plus he still turn into a ball too much but I'll let his special pass except side B that has to go
I like this but some stuff is dumb like pulling the fork from dkc just feel forced like “haha we did the funny reference” I don’t think every move needs to be a reference. Things that are needed though such as the coconut gun, a barrel, which are iconic to his character and definetly needed.
I love this new moveset, the only thing I move is the special's directions (The barrel being the neutral special and the coconut gun the side b). I'm looking forward on how you'll redesign Kirby

Since the peanut popgun in dk64 was meant to be a quick barrage and his jetpack...Is a jetpack, i feel like his up b shouldn't have to be charged for him to go higher and it would work like rob's up b. Also I'm assuming dk has his actual voice in the moveset mod.
The only thing I would change, and something I like to keep in mind when making or modding movesets myself, would be making his neutral special his most iconic...thing. That’s what neutral specials are to me, and when Kirby inhaled an opponent, he should be able to do their most iconic...thing...too, right? With that being said, I would just switch some stuff around: make Barrel Toss neutral, Coconut Gun side, and Hand Slap down. All in all though, fantastic work on D A M O N K E Y

Miguel C you know what, I actually agree with that. Looking back, I think I could’ve found a way to make the attacks actually cohesive to a certain play style rather than just references, and I’m planning to make that better in the future

Bowser could 100% handle a new change. Something to take him away from the scary, brutal and dumb monster Smash Bowser has been built up to be and make him the respectable, brutal, partially dumb but still a wonderful character to see, Bowser that doesn’t really get all to represented. Because, the punch from Inside Story? That should be more than his jab: you should be able to feel PROUD when you land that solid hit on a chump’s face.
Bowser is someone i could see getting a video! i'd imagine it'd take a WHOLE lot longer because of how surprisingly complicated his design would be, but im open to it!

It’s great there’s one problem so you know the cargo throw he has when he does forward throw that allow him to do 4 more throws just keep it grabbing people is also what donkey Kong Is good at. And when you get rid of something that is unique to the character it just feels wrong.
