  • The opening of the second half of the 1978 Royal Variety Show at the London Palladium was performed by The National Youth Jazz Orchestra with special guests, Acker Bilk and Kenny Ball.
    The video quality is not perfect but after 36 years in a cupboard, it is quite acceptable.

    First song they play is called Poluska pole (please excuse my spelling, I am dyslexic) Michael Palin learnt to sing it for one of his travel shows
