- There are several different ways to start a wrap when building a fishing rod. Here are the 4 ways I tend to use the most.
When you are rod wrapping (or as our European friends say, rod whipping) it is helpful to know different ways to go about starting a wrap. If you are just beginning rod building, this will give you some ideas on how to start your wraps.

I don’t want to hijack you thread. But one thing I’d like to see is how to; like put the name of the person you made it for and date, length and weight just so they know what it is along with my Logo. But haven’t seen any videos like that on UA-cam. Thanks again for the great videos. I’ll send you some pics after I get some done if I can find out where to send them to.

@@TheFishingHobby Homo sapiens are primates. It's only uneducated, religious types that think we are created in the image of a god. So why does their god have the body plan of a bipedal ape? Silly people. Anyway, you must be very warm come winter with that extra coat of fur. Lol
