You both taught me some good stuff as far as rod building is concerned. Dynasty Rod Custom DRC made a similar video called 'how to determine the distance of the cross wrap point.' I am using both videos.
@@CL_G thank you sir, there is another way of song to determine the cross point and this in my opinion is simpler but I haven't had time to make a video because my cellphone is still broken. so for video editing you need to be patient
Thank you very much! This video taught me something from 11:45 - 14:00. I was always worried about going far up the blank, but I mostly do open ended wraps anyway. So I have to subtract the tip end from the butt end and add what it equals as I go farther up the blank.
I am glad you liked the video. After you do a lot of wraps, you can just see and feel how it is going to fall. I have done several wraps with no marks at all. Just keep wrapping and it will get easier each time.

wont alcohol wipe the p[erm marker off?
I cleaned my blank with a alcohol wipe once and when I put the epoxy on it fish eyed.
