  • The drugs semaglutide and tirzepatide started as treatments for type 2 diabetes, but they've become household names in the past year through causing weight loss. Why do they have so many brand names, and what's the difference between them?
In this episode of Medical History Mysteries, Pam and Tom explain the difference, why Ozempic has some new competition, and what dental professionals need to know about the side effects to treat patients safely.

:) great but you still need to tell your patients that you have to document what medications they tell you they are using and that information is not, is not!! confidential when required to be shared with the government and insurance companies so part of your education while great is misleading. Off label use must be reported, period.
