Why was Jackson MVP? CMC should have been, but he isn’t a QB. From now on, only QBs can be MVP? The loss to GB falls squarely on Quinn for switching to zone instead of staying man 2 man. I was surprised by the list when I saw it. I would have put Dak 3rd or 4th. Joe Burrow can’t get through a season but look how high he was. Purdy wasn’t on the list and he did all the things they said Dak didn’t do! I call it a bogus list!

@@antsusa4681 The real fact is Dak lovers like to overlook his shortcomings. I used to like Dak, but I finally had to admit that he just doesn't have the "it" factor. Everything has to be just right... and if it's not, then he struggles. Watch what happens when a LB drops into coverage, he misses it half the time. Or, when a defense keeps changing up, he struggles again. I mentioned the record against winning teams, but perhaps that's not enough "facts" for you. If Romo had the same caliber teams he's had the last couple of years, we'd have some more wins in the playoffs... and if Troy or Staubach had those teams, we'd have had some championships.

Thank you for continuing to make solid, fact-based content. Im a Cowboys fan for sure, and continue to see all the hate Dak receives. It's getting old, yet in every capacity, Dak is improving, despite his circumstances and lack of support (from JJ as well as his anti fan base) My question is, if we do not sign him, then who is this imaginary savior who will swoop in and win a superbowl in 2-3 years? People have exceptionally high (even unrealistic) expectations for the Cowboys. Dak is doing everything in his power to be a solid QB and leader in the most toxic/stressful/ridiculous sports franchise in the world. I do want to correct something you said, these Dallas “fans” don't have high expectations for the Cowboys, they have exceedingly high expectations FOR DAK, Cowboys lose its all his fault, Cowboys win all of a sudden its a team sport. According to an astonishingly and concerningly high amount of casuals, Dak is also to blame for the last 30 years of us not winning a SB…. in the 8 years he has been the starter… I don't know of another QB that is expected to carry the ENTIRE team, Dak has carried this franchise exceptionally well, If we had a competent front office, Dak would be a SB Champ, SB MVP too, Tony Romo… Jason Witten… Dez Bryant… would all be SB champs. It's all about the asinine QB Winz argument. That's what it comes down to. Dak has shown that he's a legitimately top five QB as of late but he lacks the team accomplishments that some of these other QBs have so he's ranked low. But what I don't get at all is why Herbert is ranked so damn high. He's done nothing other than put up regular season stats the same stats people use to discredit Dak because he doesn't win playoff games and he's ranked multiple spots ahead of Prescott. Herbert is hands down the most overrated QB in the NFL right now next to Trevor Lawrence. And on this list, where the heck is Brock Purdy? You could argue that Brock Purdy should have been on this list over Goff.
America is defined by winning and that is a very sad statement. Dak Prescott is without a doubt in the top three quarterbacks of the National Football League. He has proven day in day out year in year out of his ability to lead and produce on the field at the highest Pinnacle level.
His leadership qualities are arguably the best in the NFL today.

What is missing is a Super Bowl victory once he captures that he will finally receive his just due.
Dan Marino without a Super Bowl is still considered one of the greatest quarterbacks to produce on the field but it's not considered an elite quarterback because of zero Super Bowl victories.
I mean think about it would you rather have an Eli Manning or a Dak Prescott under Center in their Prime? The answer to me is obvious. You can keep your Super Bowls I want a proven leader and producer on the field because the Super Bowl requires efforts from a team not a single individual.

I loved the qualities of Dak Prescott since Mississippi State and have seen him grow albeit from a far distance as a quarterback, football player and a person I would want my grandchildren to emulate and look up to with respect to sports athletes.
His character is beyond reproach and if you look at the numbers wins, everything other than Super Bowl titles he is in the top two or three quarterbacks.

Dak plays great in the regular season and people are all happy. As soon as he gets to the playoffs and loses it’s Jerry fault. We don’t have a run game. Fuck all the talk, is Dak worth 60 mill? Nope
QB’s are judged in the playoffs especially in Dallas. Dak has pissed down his leg one too many times when it matters most. Add to that he’s asking for 60 million per year. It’s time for him to move on if that’s what he wants money wise. A fresh start would be good for him and the organization.
All those critics and analysts hold Dak and the Cowboys to a higher standard because we haven’t been to a Superbowl or even an NFC championship game in 30 years. But Dak has only been a Cowboy for 8! Some of them took their team to Superbowl. But the most important thing since you forgot, Dak’s stat is against sub 500 team. He also does not play good at all when under pressure. Specially in Play Offs.
Please pay attention to important details before getting on Dak’s wagon like all other Media groupies.

None of them had the supporting casts? What? Goff has had the benefit of one of the top run games every playoff run he has had. Allen has had an all pro team for years now. And Herbert has had talent too on both sides of the ball. And the argument against Dak is that he can't elevate his team consistently. Herbert hasn't done that either. And doesn't play well under pressure? He's literally one of the best QBs against the blitz. Dak doesn't play well under consistent pressure from the front 4 without blitzing while the other team plays zone with 7 in the box. There's a long list of QBs that don't play well in that same scenario.
This is dumb, plenty of those QBs benefited from GREAT supporting cast and some have had much better coaching and a front office that was more aggressive and better than Dallas. You clearly have a bias against Dak to even think otherwise or know nothing about the league

Dak can take us to the Superbowl but we have to have a Zimmer defense and run the ball to control the clock we've not ran the ball good enough the other teams above 500 almost all of them controlled the clock and ran whenever they wanted to we gave up almost six yards a carry. With our new o line and our RB room we should be very good. Look back through history show when you're offense is passing like we have to make up for the lack of a running game yeah 12-5 but nothing when it counts. This will be Daks last year unless we win the Superbowl. It has to happen no more excuses

One bad year of interceptions, Dak has not been known for throwing picks at all. Also, no matter what kind of talent offensively we have is going to fix our defensive struggles.
One bad year of Ints after he broke his thumb on his throwing had and had a metal plate put in it. You can’t just leave out the fact the ints happened after an injury on his throwing hand. The very next year he’s ranked as the most accurate passer in the league

Not sure which games that was , but he did sit out the second half of like 8 games during blowouts and our offense got off to a slow start until the 49ers game and he still ended up leading the league in touchdowns , your thinking of squirts

Dak may not have the arm of Allen but that doesn't make him an inferior passer. Look at the QB's Josh Allen has beat in the playoffs and get back to me. Stalwarts like Matt Jones, Seneca Wallace, Mason Rudolph,. Dak has good playoff games against the Rams and the Packers as a rookie which were both losses. He was obviously good in wins against the Seahawks and Tampa. This playoff wins and loss thing is a team stat but no one ever wants to mention the defensive performances or lack of a consistent run game.
