- In support of all our Union friends in the UK fighting the good fight against the elitist Tory political party we made this music video in association with the RMT (The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers). On our recent UK shows we changed the words to the song All You Fonies (Bound To Lose) to All You Tories in support of the striking railroad and transit workers, nurses , fire fighters, teachers, postal workers, ambulance staff and health workers . The song is recorded Live at Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff Wales and the live video footage is from Cardiff and the Wembley Arena show in London. Animation provided courtesy of the RMT. I'm a lifelong Union Member, as are my parents and grandparents and so on. So listening to this is a real blast for me because it makes me think of my folks and all the lessons they would teach me as a kid, the main one being "Son, you vote Tory and you're spending christmas on the fucking doorstep," Dad.
Thank you for continuing your pro union music. My husband was part of the protests in Wisconsin back in 2010-11, when you released Take ‘Em Down. He’s now his local’s president. Whenever we hear that song we think of the fight and remember it never ends.

@@bigbeardedscotsman5608 The DKM are major workers union guys. Ken Casey was raised by his grandfather who was a Teamster and wrote a lot of his songs in his honor.
All the shirts in their store are even made by Union labor and they've always supported a union strike.
I always am saying life would be great if I had background music playing in my daily life. I would have Dropkick Murphys playing proudly. Some how it would all make sense! I absolutely love love love this song!!! ❤👀🤘✌♥︎

"Yours in Solidarity," what a wonderful phrase. My Dad was RMT, and I'm in Unite, and have been told I'm the only member at my pay-grade in the Union. I make enough to have a very comfortable life, but see no reason why I shouldn't be taxed at a level to enable others to do the same.
Awesome work guys. Also, all of you that complain about the politics of DKM from time to time, do not clearly understand the point of punk music, it has always been this way. It has been political, anti-establishment, and DKM has always been for working class!

If it took you this long to notice which side the DKM was on, boy you sure didn't pay attention. They've been advocating for unions and workers' rights since the beginning. Repeatedly and vocally. Hell even their shirts are Union-made. Also, the Dark Angels and the Lion are union men.
From the band themselves in the wake of telling a US republican to, more or less, F*** off and stop using DKM's music:
The band's comments towards Walker gained national media exposure with those in the left-wing media defending the band and those in the right- wing media condemning the band for their comments. The band released a full statement on the issue saying: *"The bottom line is: when a politician uses our music to walk out to, for better or worse, it brands us with that person. If one of our favorite teams' rivals, such as the Montreal Canadiens, used a Dropkick Murphys song when they took the ice, we'd be equally displeased. We feel that we have the right to ask to not be associated with certain events or people - we don't think that's too much to ask. This isn't a legal issue to us-we're not looking to sue someone. Yes, our words were a little harsh, but it was borne out of frustration with the past history of Wisconsin Republicans, such as Jeff Fitzgerald, using our music. The band has stood for and aligned itself with certain principles since its inception in 1996, so people who react as though we're jumping on some sort of political bandwagon simply don't know the history of the band.
