You and your videos are LITERALLY the reason I became a sleep tech, I honestly didn't even know the job existed. Came across your videos, and binge watched and was literally like I think I found my passion. And a year later, i finished and I love my job. I have always worked in the medical field, but never liked my jobs.🤦🏽‍♀️, but this job is kinda chill and I work pretty much at my own pace. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE FUTURE TECHS!!!

Hi I’m already a sleep tech and I LOVE when they feel better after a split night in the morning. Also love talking to the patients during hook up. Patients have some interesting stories and lives. People I wouldn’t normally interact with I get to learn a lot about.

Your thumbnail... sleep techs who interchange “technician” and “technologist.” I edited my manager’s resume for him and had to tell him to change his credentials to “technologist.” 🤷

    • @ToBCaSharaP

@@ToBCaSharaP Technologists are registered techs and technicians are unregistered. It’s a technicality everyone ignores, but I’m a former English major and get hung up on correctly using words. We run peds in my lab and I make sure students know to use “torr” for TCOM readings and mmHg for ETCO2 readings, even though techs use mmHg for everything and only doctors care about the distinction.
