Side note, when revolting as Baja, Texas, or California, the General switches to the American voice lines, a nice touch to detail.
Wow great to know. Ty :)
there is a bug tho , when u go back to mexico the voice line of the general wont turn into spanish again and keep the americans one😂😂😂 hope the devs will fix it
their revolutions cost different ammounts depending on what age it is for age 2 is 350 each, age 3 is 750 each (the one he used) and the age 4 is 1000 each
Finally a Big River revolt!
Big River gives you all guard upgrades for free but for some reason nobody does that revolt.
Probably because when people usually revolt as Mexico they do it in Age 2 for either the Fast Industrial or the memes. Personally, I love doing a Baja revolt, mostly because of the Filibusters' awesome mustache and their TNT siege.
@@Toonrick12 fair point for Baja there
I guess another problem with Big River is that you need to build and keep an army to upgrade. There's really no immediate tempo with this kinda strategy.
@@schadowizationproductions6205Rio Grande doesn't really snowball as well as other revolts because usually you're already steamrolling the opponent or your army has been wiped. My suggestion is to give it something like the Hungary revolt and gives you a unit for each defensive building you have.
Not NOBODY...Aiz DOES
It’s hard to pull off effectively, because it kills your economy when you should be entering the industrial era. Really like most things it comes down to timing, but Rio Grande’s window of opportunity is very small.
The inspiring flag looks cool when captured by Portugal, the eurocivs could earn one in their explorer improvement card, or with the dog card, so they'd be used more frequently.
Aiz you magnificent bastard, most people don't even know about the Rio Grande revolt but you just roll with it.
Honestly, it would both be interesting for us and helpful for you if you did a longer deep dive break down of all of Mexico's revolts. This sounds like a Herculean task, so definitely not insisting. Anyway, thanks for the cast, really enjoy your content. Have a great day
I can give a minor outline.
Age 2 Baja is an outlaw based revolt, it’s not very good but can be fun for the giggles, especially with the Mexican stand off card in age 3 when you come out of it. You can build loads of saloons as well so make sure you do so before coming out of it.
Age 2 Central America is an economic revolt. It is actually faster to revolt to this and return to Mexico to get to age 4. There’s some nice unique cars you get to keep on this path too.
Age 3 Yucatec is a insurgent based revolt and changes those as well as making hacienda upgrades free, it also doesn’t change your villagers though you can’t train them at the town center and need haciendas. However it is require to revolt into Maya which is really good and can be done to pseudo age five (no gold economic upgrade though so be careful).
Age 3 Rio Grande is as seen here. Guard upgrades all round. I admit it, this one I haven’t played with much but clearly it’s viable.
Age 4 Texas is interesting. You can get access to the best skirmishers in the game with the right upgrades before and after the revolt. Otherwise you get access to American units. You don’t get age five economic techs but you do get imperial age units with a card.
Age 4 California has some fun things but it’s not that good I don’t think. I haven’t explored it in a while. You only get age 5 cavalry units and some capital economic techs but not all. The revolt unit is kind of bad too if I remember rightly,
Age 5 Maya is my favourite. You get loads of new cards and as I said previously you must be Yucatec to revolt into Maya. Their Muskets are absolutely amazing, they have almost all age 5 techs and can generally stand up really well. It is much faster to revolt to Maya then go age 5 normally.
@@Peachrocks5 thank you
@@Peachrocks5Californios are just pretty subpar dragoon units so the whole revolt struggles really hard. Mayans are strong but you lack cavalry unless you send the Tulinco Curassiers or other cav training cards, which can leave you vulnerable to skirms or grenadines depending on the opponent.
So basically the top 10 player is all Revnak?
That was a great game, pretty wild tho. Thanks for sharing
People forget after revolting, all resources come from xp / shipment, so pressure on town center (and hacienda) is a must. Ports can play exchanging base all day. No need to play it head on
Could watch Aiz all day long 😍😍😍
If those haciendas had been up, he could revolt and get back his economy. Cattle can speed up vill breeding😬, i mean training😇, in the haciendas to, so this is one revolt that you can get eco back...
On a side note, this map would be wonderfull for baja california, big trade line for their ridiculous strong trade line upgrade card.
Time to buy Mexico dlc when on sale :) USA as well. Gg what a match. Great cast man.
the greeting from both was very helal
Gotta love a good Mexico gameplay!
we love you aiz!!!!!!!!!!!
Want to see the best Italy and Germany play against
rev, breeze, aok or many things, he thinks wall spamming is META. He is proven wrong by CHAD with a tusk. AIZ is the GOAT.
riogrands gets all age 4 units upgrades for free
Wow nice job of the most original player vs the most lamer kebab guy!
İs revnak Turkish player cause he wrote down some Turkish word to the chat ?
Whenever I try to delete wall pillars, it just a mess , whats the trick ?
ton of vid on youtube. now i am master at it. in sec i can make 3 layers walls
kinda unrelated but when should you age up with logistican(900F)
I don't even know what that politician does but I think it's different for different civs. Generally you want to choose some Age up that synergises well with whatever your long-term strategy is. If a politician gives me unit that my deck is made to upgrade anyway then I'll take it. That's just an example. The general rule imo is that you want to cheese as much value out of your cards, units age-up options etc as possible.
Logistician seems to be the way to go in age 2 if you want to fight that age. Either giving you extra resources or military wagons or arsenal tech. In age 4 logistician gives a fort either to defend or map control
Only real reason is if you're Spain and have lots of age 1 cards.
You said nazi? At 22:01 ?
Might I recommend...pausing the game so you can look things up? It's trivial for your audience to have the AOE wiki up on another screen, so hearing you ask "what does Rio Grande do?" all game is kinda annoying.
why do people have many accounts?
Ego. They don't want to lose ELO and positions on the ladder with their main account by trying new civs or strategies. But since they are very good players usually their Smurf account ends up very high too.
@@Fobius I see, ty.
Would be good for a caster to know what's going on. Really no excuse not to.
Try casting then, boomer
There’s always a lot going on - why don’t you give it a go and send me a link?
@@Widgie great take on honest feedback. But you know make excuses. Call me names, play a boomer game, but yea gl with everything.
