the one thing i did love about this show was its banger soundtrack, even all the OST's just hit differently
I was laughing the whole time, I love these type of videos lol
The anime: 7 or maybe 8/10
The manga: Solid 9/10
I'm so glad they fixed the ending for this anime

Besides all of the stuff that happened I'm happy 02 got to accomplish what she wanted and to be happy with heito as a normal life in their recantation
Anybody who liked the first half of this show should go and watch "Eureka 7", a much mecha better show with similar themes and really great music.

EUREKA 7 is also more cooler in a way. A MECHA THAT SURFS? HOW COOL IS THAT? Pity that AO is quite a flop.
"Eureka 7" is really good, way slower than DITF, but the payoffs are better and doesnt have a crappy ending. "The 86" is another more recent mecha show that is pretty good as well and focuses more on the mech fighting and is a lot more grounded with mechs that are a lot more plausible. Aldnoa Zero is good (Season 1 is good, season 2 sucks ass) Last one I'd recommend is Knights of Sidonia (Space Mechs fighting space creatures) but its CGI so the art isnt as good but I think the story makes up for it (Any show that I read the manga after finishing is a show I consider to be pretty good, ending of Sidonia wasnt great, but nothing near as bad as DITF)
