In the last scene where Jinx tries to go save Isha, her eyes are blue too. Not just in memory we see but actually on her. It happens at 1:46 when Vi jumps on her and she tries to reach her hand. But it is so fucking hard to catch or normally see by watching. I made the videos speed 0.25x and spammed pause and play. It goes to blue but changes so quickly to purple. It is so hard to see by just watching since some of her hair also gets in the way of her face.
1:58 at first when she made the pistol hand gesture I thought it was in reference to there handshake, but with this audio you can see that she probably remembered these words and was making that motion at Jinx to show her she knows the consequences and that she would probably die
The little girl was not scared, she was smiling before her death. Because she's been very happy last time, and she hasn't regretted anything. Ambessa was talking about sacrifice, which stands above the other fundamentals of battle. And this was demonstrated by little Isha😭😢 I hoped so much that she would live to see the final. If something had happened to Jinx, Isha could have grown up and continued her business. And for Vander, perhaps this was the best way out, Isha probably understood this. Otherwise, Vander would have continued to go crazy from the burning pain.
I think she was actually scared, you can see the tears falling off her face while she’s running at around 0:46 but she kept going because she wanted to protect the person she loved 😭

A thing to note is during the flashback, Jinx paints the walls pink and Isha blue. Jinx was to Isha what Vi was to Power and it ended in the same way expect that Jinx still gets hurt.
Jinx can’t rewind time, she can’t go back and get that moment right when her family died because of her, but in a way she did. Isha literally becomes powder, she looks like her, starts getting into jinx’s machines and even uses a mouser bomb during the sevika vs smeech fight. I think isha/powder was able to do what powder couldn’t because jinx was the right kind of person to raise a isha/powder like kid. Silco was great at encouraging jinx to succeed in inventions/weapons because silco was the right kind of person for that growth and encouragement. Silco wasn’t a fighter, he didn’t and almost couldn’t fight, we saw him only able to get an advantage in a fight when playing dirty or finding some way out. He was able to help jinx become the inventor she could be, Vi and vander just weren’t able to properly show her how to get there because they’re fighters and that’s why vi took so much after and learned so much from vander. Vander was able to show vi what a mature fighter can be, like Silco was able to show jinx what a mature inventor/someone who uses their wits could be. Powder wanted to learn how to fight like vi, we see in some places where vi was teaching ekko and powder how to fight like her and Mylo and Claggor (and Vander) do, and in the end jinx becomes one hell of a fighter, able to keep her own against vi during their S2 fights. Jinx becomes a mix of the two sides, inventor and fighter, it’s the combo that makes her even stronger than vi. When jinx roasts her in the mine about “not even making those bitch mittens” 😂 she’s right that vi is kinda useless against a gun/weapons in a fist fight. Yes she’s a very capable fighter against other human fighters, but when it comes to shimmered out rage beasts she really needs a weapon of her own to stand a good chance through the whole fight (obviously). During the memorial attack she was able to get some things done with her own brute power but against the big one she went for hextech, in a lot of her fights against people with a magic/shimmer/other advantage like that she needs the hextech gauntlets, but when they’re broken she can’t even fix them! That’s a massive downfall. So while Vi/Vander was able to teach powder to fight, Silco was able to help jinx use her minds potential as a creator/schemer. And when Jinx kinda adopted Isha as her little sister/child she was able to model a better rounded skill set for Zaun survival. Which is weird to say about jinx, that she was able to model a well rounded skill set, but you can’t look at Isha and tell me she didn’t become a successful version of powder (able to bravely jump into a fight and successfully use jinx’s inventions) because of Jinx being able to foster both sides of the coin in her little self, Isha. I know Isha was using most of Jinx’s stuff (the mouser bomb, her fireworks, her gun) but I’m mainly thinking of the scene where jinx is hiding away playing happy house with Isha (I could live in those moments forever too Isha 😢) and Isha is the one to go out and inspire zaunites at the check point where blue Mohawk guy was getting shoved around. She set up a bunch of things by herself it looks like, and yeah she was using jinx’s things to do it but successfully utilizing those things and setting off the diversion she did was pretty impressive for a lil kiddo, and powder was nowhere near that scale of bold and successful.

This action will truly create the revolution in herself that Jinx wanted to run away from and will kill the last bit of Powder that Isha brought back.

This series man, it has so many details and parallels, i can't help but see the way it played out differently from season 1 episode 3, powder felt left behind by Vi trying to keep her safe so she tried to help in the only way she though she could, but Isha saw Jinx as her hero, probably as a big sister, they did everything together she didn't try to keep her safe by keeping her away she knew what Isha was capable and counted on her, and in similar way Isha helped by doing the only thing she thought she could do in that moment, save her hero by sacrificing for the person she loved. It cost powder her whole world, but in parallel, it might have saved hers.
Two years ago, this show dropped out of nowhere (for me at least) and I was a little reluctant to give it a chance because it was a video game adapatation. I immediatley fell in love with the characters of the show two years ago and this season is so well done. I rarely cry watching shows or movies, let alone animation, but this show has me feeling genuine emotional connection with the characters that I can't help but to mourn their losses as well. Isha's death was not easy to watch and the more I think about it, Jinx genuinley can't catch a break, nor can Vi. I empathized with Jinx the first season but I still didn't like her, however, in this season I feel very differently. I am so excited to see Jinx's redemption arc after this and how she is going to finish her story along with all the other Characters as well.
0:50 whats even more sad about this jump is back in season 1 in episode 1 all of them jumped one by one and Vi trusted Powder that she will make it but Powder was afraid and almost fall. However for Jinx, she help Isha by both jumping even tho they don't know if they will both make it out, but Isha knows she got Jinx back. This also healed Jinx's past of jumping all alone.
This was an amazing edit. I kinda wish we got to the end with the full victor quote, but regardless, you really captured both Isha and Jinx’s mindset during this scene. And loved how smoothly the Jinx quote from her first meeting with Isha blended into Isha giving Jinx one last little finger gun. I really hope that Isha isn’t actually dead. I knew the odds weren’t in her favor but I got too attached dammit

The first time i watch this scene I'm unfazed and didn't cry at all, because my dumb brain still doesn't catch up what's going on and didn't think this is would be her last, rewatched the scene and then I cried bawling lol.
the thing that might make it even more emotional that I've not really seen people talk about, is the detail that Vi rushes to hold Jinx back Think what that signifies, she could just let her run into harms way in an attempt to save Isha, a young child... but Vi wants to save and protect her sister and doesn't want her to risk her life.
It would have been amazing if you put the scenes where Jinx saved Isha shooting the guys who were chasing her, and later where she tries to save Jinx from Vi but then she hesitates to pull the trigger, and cut to the moment when she finally pull the trigger for the first time

This series man, it has so many details and parallels, i can't help but see the way it played out differently from season 1 episode 3, powder felt left behind by Vi trying to keep her safe so she tried to help in the only way she though she could, but Isha saw Jinx as her hero, probably as a big sister, they did everything together she didn't try to keep her safe by keeping her away she knew what Isha was capable and counted on her, and in similar way Isha helped by doing the only thing she thought she could do in that moment, save her hero by sacrificing for the person she loved. It cost powder her whole world, but in parallel, it might have saved hers.

Two years ago, this show dropped out of nowhere (for me at least) and I was a little reluctant to give it a chance because it was a video game adapatation. I immediatley fell in love with the characters of the show two years ago and this season is so well done. I rarely cry watching shows or movies, let alone animation, but this show has me feeling genuine emotional connection with the characters that I can't help but to mourn their losses as well. Isha's death was not easy to watch and the more I think about it, Jinx genuinley can't catch a break, nor can Vi. I empathized with Jinx the first season but I still didn't like her, however, in this season I feel very differently. I am so excited to see Jinx's redemption arc after this and how she is going to finish her story along with all the other Characters as well.
0:50 whats even more sad about this jump is back in season 1 in episode 1 all of them jumped one by one and Vi trusted Powder that she will make it but Powder was afraid and almost fall. However for Jinx, she help Isha by both jumping even tho they don't know if they will both make it out, but Isha knows she got Jinx back. This also healed Jinx's past of jumping all alone.

This was an amazing edit. I kinda wish we got to the end with the full victor quote, but regardless, you really captured both Isha and Jinx’s mindset during this scene. And loved how smoothly the Jinx quote from her first meeting with Isha blended into Isha giving Jinx one last little finger gun. I really hope that Isha isn’t actually dead. I knew the odds weren’t in her favor but I got too attached dammit

the thing that might make it even more emotional that I've not really seen people talk about, is the detail that Vi rushes to hold Jinx back
Think what that signifies, she could just let her run into harms way in an attempt to save Isha, a young child... but Vi wants to save and protect her sister and doesn't want her to risk her life.
The fact that Vi is bleeding to death too 🥲 (at least irl no human should survive that cut if untreated immediately but oh well plot armor )
It would have been amazing if you put the scenes where Jinx saved Isha shooting the guys who were chasing her, and later where she tries to save Jinx from Vi but then she hesitates to pull the trigger, and cut to the moment when she finally pull the trigger for the first time
