FYI: "The distinctive 'psychedelic' sound effects heard in the song were not produced on a synthesizer, but on May's Red Special and an Electroharmonix Frequency Analyzer pedal ..."
🤣🤣🤣 Faith..are you blushing at Freddie's soft porn song. Did Freddie corrupt your innocent mind.. 🤣🤣..🤔 Thank you Kelly for this...great request. Another good one is Death on 2 legs. Freddie appreciated a lot of artists music. When he would get home with a group of friends he would put on Prince... he adored Aretha Franklin...who was another influence on Freddie. Also Michael Jackson. I guess artists appreciated other artists... Freddie was in a car when he told his driver Gerry to turn up the radio because Totos "Africa" came on and would get excited and say..listen to this..brilliant.."Ser en geti"..🤣
Great reaction...must say you were up to the task. I'm glad I wasn't in front of a camera the first time I heard this song. What you hear lyrically in this song, you might see visually in Body Language. Be prepared.
Freddie means exactly what he says! I believe this was banned in some countries but not sure where. He's one sexy guy . . . appreciated and lusted after by both men & women 💗🔥
When I first heard that song. It stands almost higher on the chart than We will rock you/We are the champions. However, Queen always has more than one hit. I say all three. I still can't figure out why there wasn't a fanominal reaction to Get Down Make Love. Maybe I was busy. I don't think it's a dirty song ❤️ at all. I think it's a keen way of expression. I seen that song ❤️ played in concert live. They are amazing in performing it live. WOW. They can sound similar to the recording at their best. They are using synthesizers in the musical part with Freddie's real voice in there too. I love that song. The piano has a sexy sound and the drums beat a roll over sound. Then the electric guitar sounds like it's making turns while Freddie does his thing. After Bohemian Rhapsody, they all had reached the ability to do music in their sleep! 💞 That's a compliment. Just like there is only one NFL team who went to the Super bowl 8 times with the same Quarter Back. There will never be another Queen. They are the Rock n Roll close out era. Them good looking bad asses.
Faith you can watch this live when Queen played it live in Montreal in 1981. Pretty cool seeing it live and that sound was from Brian on the Red Special his guitar and the others on their instruments piano, drums and bass. Pretty cool hearing the sounds.
😂😂 Oh Faith, your face was an absolute picture. As you know, Freddie liked to leave his songs open to the listeners interpretation, this one - not so much.😏
Love this song. I don’t know if you have watched the Queen live at Argentina concert 1981 ! But you MUST ! Queen has so many”firsts” on record it boggles the mind. This is one of them. Argentina had gone through political upheaval. In 1976 Isabel Peron was deposed and the military took over the government. Word got around to Queen that they were HUGE in South America places like Brazil and Argentina. There is a story Roger tells about their experience in Argentina. They arrived in Argentina with all of their equipment (at the time this ALSO included firework style special effects). The government was hesitant to allow a large scale concert with tons of young people. The government feared a revolt. Queen assured them everything would be fine. Their trip into the stadium was extremely unsettling. Roger said they were on a raised highway traveling in military vehicles driving THE WRONG WAY INTO TRAFFIC. And when the traffic was stopped the soldiers they were riding with stood up and fired their weapons into the air to clear the traffic. They get to the stadium and Roger said the windows were all blown out. He called the experience “harrowing.” Queen was the first band to play there after the government was overthrown. They were also the first rock band to play behind the Iron Curtain EVER. The concert at Budapest, hey you should watch that one as well ! Freddie sang a Hungarian folk song, in HUNGARIAN. Queen took a ton of heat for playing in South Africa during Apartheid. But what you have to understand is this was a brave move on Freddie’s part since being gay was against the law. Brian put it best he said “If you don’t play in places that are politically unpopular or offensive then you don’t help change peoples hearts and minds.”
Roger, I think, refused to attend the meeting with whoever was in power in Argentina. Before they played in South Africa they were assured that they would be playing to a mixed audience, not a segregated one. But yeah, they were severely criticized for it. I think they got in trouble with the English musicians union, but don't remember the details.
Body language was naughty naughty naughty. The song was okay but I didn't like the video and I heard it was pulled off of MTV. Haha! Roger said he liked a lot of what they did but he didn't like everything they did and I'm sure the song was 1. Rogers said that some of the stuff that Fred wanted to do sounded like it came out of a S&M or gay club from back in the late 70s and early 80s ; and he and Brian were not with it.
LMAO Faith, I think I need a cigarette! (and I quit 8 years ago!!) I'm 63 and no prude, but this was pretty out there, I don't ever remember hearing this song on the radio. If MTV banned "I want to Break Free", I don't think this one would have aired EVER, lol! Great beat, and I can definitely see Freddie enjoying very second of shocking people with it!
Faith..Someone should have warned you!!!! I KNOW I wasn’t ready. I never heard this song before. The guys might have been a little impaired at the time. You handled it like a pro.your reaction was priceless..Judy D
This is a bit "dirty"...lol...but I love it! The music is so GRITTY and SWEATY and pounding. I can imagine "getting down" to it. Those sighs and sounds if Freddie's in the interlude...WHEW! It's quite sexy, really. It's funny too, though...lol.
For your joke alone @12.41 , new subscriber 😂 And welcome to the wonderful world of the greatest band ever Would suggest live versions of Dragon Attack and Under Pressure
No one ever said Freddie was subtle. Lol
It was an ear-gasm.
Freddie was a naughty boy
Thank you Faith
FYI Queen did not use Synths until the Game Album in 1980 - on all their sleeve notes was NO SYNTHS
Great reaction 🤣🤣...it all means exactly what you think it does....this song is HOT
FYI: "The distinctive 'psychedelic' sound effects heard in the song were not produced on a synthesizer, but on May's Red Special and an Electroharmonix Frequency Analyzer pedal ..."
The expressions on Faith’s face are making me laugh out loud! 😂😂
I appreciate your boldness to review this song, unheard of in the 78 times.
They are great artists all through their catalog.
Thanks for being BOLD.
🤣🤣🤣 Faith..are you blushing at Freddie's soft porn song. Did Freddie corrupt your innocent mind.. 🤣🤣..🤔 Thank you Kelly for this...great request. Another good one is Death on 2 legs. @Ian Kidd 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow, never heard this one before. It's crazy, brilliant, revolutionary and hot as hell!
Great reaction...must say you were up to the task. I'm glad I wasn't in front of a camera the first time I heard this song. What you hear lyrically in this song, you might see visually in Body Language. Be prepared.
You may be blushing again if you do Body Language. Another surprise in store
Sound effects by Brian May and Big Red. Queen never used synthesizers.
Check out "Fight from the inside" from the same album, sung by Roger :)
Love that song!
Yes.... love that song also! There aren’t too many I don’t like 🤣
@@cristiona22 yea! fight from the inside and it's late, amazing songs with virtually no youtube reaction. These need ressurected asap.
Teo Torriatte- try this one. Another Queen to hear. This is the song I sang to my oldest daughter when she was a baby and its still her fav.
sdmodeller ah YES !!! Definitely ! Queen sings in Japanese ! I learned a little Japanese thanks to this song Teo Torriatte !
Finally Faith, dear!!!!! Get ready to *heat* things up... Hawt, steamy, 200 degrees Mr Fahrenheit Freddie...!🌡️🌡️🌡️🌡️🌡️ Wooooo!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
Freddie means exactly what he says! I believe this was banned in some countries but not sure where. He's one sexy guy . . . appreciated and lusted after by both men & women 💗🔥
Yeah, definitely one of their more adult songs.😊

Rock stations were uncensored back then. 92.5 when family was NOT in the car and 94.5 when they were in the car

Faith, thank you for another great reaction. This was so much fun, your facial expressions are priceless 🤣❤️
I love Freddie's vocal so expressive here. That's Freddie.
That was a great reaction Faith! Lots of fun...and all the funny comments in the live chat. You all are funny MoFo's!
Thank you Kelly for this request. This was a lot of fun
😂😂 Oh Faith, your face was an absolute picture. As you know, Freddie liked to leave his songs open to the listeners interpretation, this one - not so much.😏
This song always brings out some great reactions. Faith does not disappoint. Queen's diversity knows no limits.
And live in concert it sounded exactly the same. With a longer guitar bit. All guitar. Lotta dry ice too

GET DOWN, MAKE LOVE (one of the songs I really really really like by Queen)
Hotttt 😮😂... In the same way try " body language" 😁
Body language was naughty naughty naughty. The song was okay but I didn't like the video and I heard it was pulled off of MTV. Haha! Roger said he liked a lot of what they did but he didn't like everything they did and I'm sure the song was 1. Don't worry, everyone will still respect you in the morning! lol!
There are no synths on this track, it is just Queen being clever. The live versions of this got far more stranger.
You're too funny!! Had me cracking up!! Love your reactions. ❤
live version should be done indeed!)))
LMAO Faith, I think I need a cigarette! (and I quit 8 years ago!!) I'm 63 and no prude, but this was pretty out there, I don't ever remember hearing this song on the radio. Queen started using synthesizers only in 1980.
keep up on that age 13 rating! One of his songs that doesn't require any special 'reading into the hidden meaning" of the lyrics!.
Solo 160 más subscriptores, anímense a ser parte de este hermoso grupo de Queeneros.
Queens own Led Zeppelin "Whole lot of love"
LMAO!! Believe it or not this was the first song I heard from them. My first album as well. Rest history lol.
This is a super sexy song. Have many fond memories of this song.
Freddie's phase with the dark side, he had to see it all while he was here..
You are making me LMAO!!!! So funny! Freddie is nasty! Now on to Body Language!🤣🤣😱
10:45 - 11:30
Me: Oh, my god! What the hell is happening in my head?! Everything is rounding around me!
The official video is HOT!!! 💥🌋🌋🌋
Beautiful!!! I suggest Dragon Attack live at Montreal 1981. Thanks dear ❤❤
Faith..Someone should have warned you!!!! I KNOW I wasn’t ready. I never heard this song before. The guys might have been a little impaired at the time. You handled it like a pro.your reaction was priceless..Judy D
Someone give Faith a cigarette
I saw them play it live and I was about 12 years old. lol 😎🤙🏻
No radio play for this song, it made it all on its own lol
Need a smoke after that one, haha
😂😂
watch the live version
You gonna love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Metaphor and inuendo or blatantly brash. Whatever it is, I have always loved this song.
This was great!! Haha, I'm sad I missed the live chat
Aunque no hablo inglés perfectamente, hago el esfuerzo por entender lo más posible, saludotes Faith
Yeah what your thinking is right
I totally love you!
There is one more get down it's a practice. It's very good
This is a bit "dirty"...lol...but I love it! The music is so GRITTY and SWEATY and pounding. I can imagine "getting down" to it. Those sighs and sounds if Freddie's in the interlude...WHEW! It's quite sexy, really. It's funny too, though...lol.
This reaction 😂😂
You are so likable... hehe.
I first heard that song when I was 6 XD
you have to check out Body Language now!!
For your joke alone @12.41 , new subscriber 😂
And welcome to the wonderful world of the greatest band ever
Would suggest live versions of Dragon Attack and Under Pressure
Under Pressure live at Wembley is the one you need to listen too 👌
Yes, it was banned!!
Nine inch nails do a cover of this.
A band that does an entire song about premature ejaculation isn't shy about sex. Listen to "Misfire"
😊🤭😜
I prefer the live version of this song.
Tx🤣😆🤣😆
Still no synths on this one -
I can promise you that Queen was not influenced by Michael Jackson.
It was Fat Boy Slim. 👍👍
Bwa ha ha lololololol
Freddie Mercury and Roger Taylor... these two. 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤ the live version is better!!!
🗺 cathy and billy
family pets rain chilly
maria willie
Please react to Teo Torriatte
I'm sorry...
One of my less favourite songs from queen. This one and probably sheer heart attack. I am sorry but i cant enjoy it like the rest of their songs.
I agree with you. It sure isn't subtle! ;)
