Sorry this is a real venting DNK animatic, I was originally supposed to make one about adult Landon but I figured I’d feel better if I got this one off my chest first. Anyways yah enjoy
This is one of the most beautiful renditions and animatics I have seen for this song. It really does outline how horrible, serious, and tragic SA is. It is so well done. I really love your art style as well.
the art style is genuinely amazing. its cohesive, the line art, the shading, and the little distorted animation helps it feel a little more real.
but the topic? fuck you did wonderful. you captured the tragic, yet angry feeling, mourning what happened and questioning why. this is one of my favorite songs and you brought out so much of it.

i grew up religious (and still kinda am, but i dont know anymore), and the cross glowing on the necklace phillip's wearing is kinda like playing the "oh im religious im a good person" card, which i might be wrong about but that's my take.
also the flower having black lineart indicating that it's Landon and the red lineart being phillip's MY HEART

This is sad. I mean it’s amazing but sad. I am religious and a believer in Christ and this is so true. People use the law and shield themselves from their mistakes with religiosity. It is people like this that have given Christianity a bad name. To those that Christians have hurt i am sorry.

Warning: This is a long rant about religion so if you'd rather scroll past and not read all this that's perfectly reasonable. 😅
I'm a progressive Christian, and I believe "Having Jesus in your heart" isn't the same as claiming out of your mouth that he's in your heart or reading the bible/going to church frequently etc. If he's in your heart then you would be filled with love and kindness, and you'd try to act like him. Continueing to do terrible things on purpose because you think you'll deal no consequences because you think you're forgiven isn't what Jesus teaches. Forgiveness doesn't = no consequences. All You're doing is trying to take advantage of Jesus. Everytime you purposely do something evil, you add another level of pain on him while he's crucified. It's like slapping him saying "you forgive me right?" and then continuing to slap him on purpose saying "how about now" over and over. Sure we all sin and make mistakes but we should stive to better ourselves.
A big giveaway to me that someone is a fake Christian is not only do they act like they can do whatever they want with no consequences but they also expect and want their enemies or just people they disagree with in general to be tormented forever (a continues unfathomable amount of time). A genuine follower of Christ would never expect and want that for anyone. A genuine Christ follower would hope for the best in everyone.
You got to be mindful that the wolves like to disguise themselves and hide amongst the sheep to avoid suspicion. That's the reason you find so many Horrible "Christians".
