Since childhood i have gut isues and low energy, feel realy tired and anxiety.I tested for celiak and have negative test.Could gluten intolerance be responsible?
Hi Micki in Zurich. Good question. Not necessarily. You just want to be in the negative range. But it might go even lower after you've been off gluten for a few months. It will be interesting to see if that happens.
No typical symptoms of celiac like diarrhea, so going for ttg igA /igG antibodies test is useless ? If i still don't know about sensitivity via these tests
@@IBSTreatmentCenter great can u please tell what protocol should be followed before going for these tests? If I'm taking 2 slices of whole wheat bread everyday is it fine or serving should be large?

Hi did u follow any protocol before going for test? My dr recommended me these two antibodies test
Got tTg igA test negative; but symptoms got lowered when I stopped wheat related foods. Is it simple gluten intolerance or need HLA testing??
If you feel better when you stop eating those foods, then what difference does it make what the test results show?
@@IBSTreatmentCenter my uncle got coeliac disease; I'm asking do I need further testing ?
@@udaybrar9710 HLA testing is not diagnostic for anything. It's only a risk factor.
@@IBSTreatmentCenterbut it has high negative predictive value said say its definitely worth getting but a full panel of 2.5, 2.2, 7 and 8!
How long did it take for the symptoms to go away after you went gluten free
My son had very high levels of IgA but tested negative for celiac and wheat allergy. Is this a sign of gluten intolerance?
Very high levels of IgA against what? Or was it just total IgA?
@@IBSTreatmentCenter total IgA
@@IBSTreatmentCenterwhat is IGA A Q being a bit higher
@@cute7g467 I don't quite understand your question.
@@IBSTreatmentCenter on the celiac panel my Immunoglobulin A was higher thank normal , but the doc said is no big deal ? But ttg was negative
Hi sir
Does this mean Igg and Iga has to be 0? When I tested the value was non zero.
Great question. They have to be below the reference range for a positive value, whatever that is on the lab report. It's not necessarily zero.

Half of all celiacs don't have symptoms.
@@IBSTreatmentCenter so should i get this test done or just simply avoid gluten ? I do have subclinical hypothyroidism, acne, gut issues
@@memoonasaeed4408 It depends on what you need for motivation to do it. If you're willing to just avoid gluten, then that's all you need.
@@IBSTreatmentCenter great can u please tell what protocol should be followed before going for these tests?

@@memoonasaeed4408 That's probably enough.
it’s SO confusing!
That's why we're here. And hopefully the videos help too.
