Rokker Chino review

- In this video review, Chris talks through the Rokker Chino. There’s nothing new about Rokker’s chinos; they’ve been around for years. They’re a single layer pant, and they’re super smart with a near-military cut. They have a slide time that is about 50% better than leather. They take D30 armour in the hips and knees, and even deliver a degree of waterproofing. What is new is that Chris has done a video about them. If you’re looking for a riding pant that’s a step up from jeans in terms of presentation, they might just be what you’ve been looking for. If you’ve got a few minutes, you’ll be in a much better position to make a judgement after you’ve watched the video.

Hello, just extending your tips ( working wit different brands of trousers)
1) if you go for the cuttin, cut it above the knee, so missplacing does not make you loose the pads.
2) just put a piece of paper between the pads and the sticky meterial, sit on your bike, position them, let a friend remove the paper while sitting. And position of the pads is correct!
Btw: your channel and shop is top! Go on like that!
I've found that if you slide a sheet of paper into the armor pocket between the velcro and the support panel, you can arrange the armor exactly how you need it then while holding it (or having a friend do so) pull out the paper. It seats properly the first time and, as noted, won't ever move again.
Chris, Me & my Son recently spent time (and a little money) in your shop and it was a great experience with fantastic customer service. Very many thanks👍
Quality, informative videos of only the best gear. Keep it up.
You guys are so good purchased my wife a pair of jeans by Rokker a perfect fit.
Service is amazing keep up the good work.
Hi Chris, another great review and once the lockdown allows I'll be over to update my clothing.
As for you fix for the very grabby armour, I've been putting my pads in a paper bag, placing them where I want them and simply tearing the bag off, wrapping them in clingfilm also works.
They are smart trousers, but pants??? Pants to the price, and they don't come with armour!?? Pants to that! I was thinking about a pair, but you've completely put me off them.
Thanks for the honest review Chris. I do agree that the best idea is to visit the shop, but it cost me two taxis, there was no mention of getting picked up!!! Lol.
Dear Alex
Your Revit chinos are made of Cotton /Cordura mix and have a slide time of around 2 seconds. The Rokker chinos are made with Dynatec and have a slide time of over 6 seconds as well as a fair degree of waterproofing. You are not really comparing like products! ML.
~Looks at my Rev It Chinos~ Note to self, don't ride too hard in these... Might need to snag a pair of these Rokker Tech's for Highway Riding :)
Unfortunately Rokker is not producing this Chino beige anymore. Is there any alternative in the market with beige color?
Informative again Chris but as mentioned previously they are either trousers or jeans but not pants (we are in England not America). Keep up the video content though 👍🏻
I brought the Klim Outrider trousers from ML. Kind of the same look, but knee armour in easy to access outside pockets. Also amazingly cool and comfortable and pretty waterproof / showerproof to boot, and on that note my Sidi Adventure 2's fit under them all for £179. A friend accused me of being stylish! This was a first.
Imo if there is a liner inside, its not single layer.
Revit alpha chino looks similar costs half the money comes with armor and hip protection. I have a pair and couldn’t be more happy.
Broski send me a pair, 30,30 yellow
I see you've changed your name to something more "brand friendly"
300 POUNDS and you have to rip them to use them.. no thank you, back to the drawing board for that much money.
