That painting reminds me of the island of the blue Dolphins for some reason...
Another lovely mountain, and how appropriate for it being Fall :) The roughness of the texture was well done here and looks different from other more white frosted mountains. The hills and trees in the back create a lot of depth and the reflections in the water here are really noticeable. I think that his decision to break up the river in the front with the stones is a great new way of painting it, and that it helps to push the entire river back along with the mountains. Those orange colors were a great choice as well. The only thing I would have done is add more orange to the painting to really get it to look like fall, but it still looks great.

Don Milo it sounds like he has a cold. He wasn’t diagnosed with lymphoma until 1994.
He died from a heart attack, not lymphoma.
