Extra Points - 1. Carry cash, if you plan to book your tours or ferries from local shops as they charge 3-5% extra on the card. 2. Be careful at the beaches, one wave can take away everything and it is so sudden. 3. BARGAIN a lot. If shopping is your thing, consider shopping outside big temples like Tanah Lot and Tirta Empul. You will surely get good prices. 4. If someone says you have to pay $10 TOURIST TAX for Bali. Please ignore this because I paid it before landing in Bali and nobody asks or cares. It’s a SCAM. 5. Take the hotel transfers with the tour, it’s just convenient that way in both time and money. 6. Apps to use - Currency (to convert everything faster), Grab, Gojek (for transport), Klook, GetYourGuide (for tours & activities). 7. For Hotels, check TIKET.com as this is an Indonesian website, which means chances to get a better deal. 8. You have to pay island tax when you go to Nusa Penida (entry only) and Gili T (entry-exit both). They will take it in cash when you get to the island. (costs around 20-25k) 9. You can also consider doing another country with Bali if budget and office leaves allow. (like Malaysia or Singapore as you can do it in 3-4 days.) 10. For Nusa Penida, you can ask multiple shops for the drop harbour in Nusa Penida. Choose the one nearest to your stay. 11. After you buy the ticket at the point of interest, you will find nobody from the staff - so please don’t be adventurous, take care of yourself especially if you are SOLO.
Hai definitely one of the best bali travel itinerary videos, as I am planning bali family trip I watched nearly 100 videos about bali .yours is best of best.
Helpful ,spend day or two and get international driving licence done , cost 1000...also kecak is on my to do list ,i booked my tickets after watching your video.. thanks
Great Info Khusboo, i would love to have a 1-1 session with you planning my honeymoon and this December, but sadly i cant find slot as per my availability
Thank you. I will take care of it in the future. 😊 Just for your reference and for easier calculations idr 10,000 is 50rs. 50,000 idr - 250 rs 100,000 idr - 500 rs. You can convert anything now to inr easily.
Informative. I'm planning for Honeymoon trip in February 2025. Which country we should go? and if Bali then How many days I should plan as most of honeymoon Bali tours are of 4-5 days?
Hi, you can consider some other places like Thailand islands Japan The Philippines Maldives Sri Lanka Turkey But if you want consider Bali then I would say atleast a week would make sense. As you would want to relax also and travel also. 2 days in South of Bali as beautiful beaches and place to relax 3 days in Ubud ( a lot to see and experience, shop , eat and relax ) 1 day in Nusa Penida (you cannot miss this place) 1 day in Canggu for party That's the minimum time you should spend.
Agoda Or tiket.com (this one is an indonsian site so you might get a good deal. I saved like 20% on this site when i booked a hotel. But not necessary you will always get a better deal here so agoda is next best option)
Thanks for the very helpful video. Can you please tell about newly introduced Love Bali tourist tax of USD 10 introduced on 14 th February 2024. Is it compulsory?
Hey mentioned it in the description. It’s a SCAM i think as i paid the amount before arriving to the country. But nobody asked about it anywhere. Please ignore it.
Hi, as I was travelling solo, I did not avail any taxi service for tours. But my suggestion would be that you go and book there from local shops. The day you land, you wouldn't be touring around and just exploring. So, you can ask the shops around (atleast 3 shops) and understand the rates. And then you can bargain with them accordingly. And since you are a family, if you book things from local shops they will give you discounts (as they always asked me how many people and since I was just 1 they did not give any discount in ferry transfers 🥲).
hey... the budget is without flights as it totally depends on your city and day you choose to travel. 14 days ka 35-37k mein hojayega for a solo traveller (also it depends aap kya kya kar rahe ho) + the cost of your flights.
hi since u travelled in 2024 ..and malaysia has been declared visa free this year..your layover in Malaysia will not require transit visaa ..is this correct?
Approximately 1000 rs (200,000 IDR) for food or less depending on what you eat. Some money for shopping. Rest tours you can book according to plan. Keep currency for it if planning offline. So keep 500,000 for every day. Utna lage ga nhi but still you can keep. For me it was 200-250k per day. (Food + transportation)
Khushboo ..just one doubt, if i give 100$ at visa on arrival, will they give me back exactly 65$ in IDR ? Or eill there be a international money exchange charge reduced in that too ??
We got money back in IDR. The cost of VOA is 32$. For two of us it costed 64$ so remaining 36$ they gave back to us in IDR. The conversion rate was lower than local market. When we went it was 15,770 in local market but at airport we got around 15k per $.
Not really. You can consider Lushy hostel (they have a chain in Bali i guess), if you are into party/nightlife and this was someone else telling me about the hostel who stayed there.
7kg in total for some flights. Some flights let you take cabin baggae 7kg and a handbag of which they don’t check the weight mostly (but 7kg is too much for a handbag). So it totally depends on the flight you book.

Double check once at your end.
Do u need transit visa for 6hr layover in Vietnam for flight to bali ?
if you want to exit the airport then yes.

Yessss
Your visa is for indonesia
Not for Bali only.
hi since u travelled in 2024 ..and malaysia has been declared visa free this year..your layover in Malaysia will not require transit visaa ..is this correct?
Hi, I am not sure.
You can ask this here - malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my/evisa/evisa.jsp
(use live chat in the bottom right corner)
Do we neee transit visa if there is a layover in singapore for around 7 hours and change of terminal is there?
Please check with the airlines once through customer care.
Do we need to carry photos for Bali visa on arrival ? Is it required?
Photo is not required for the VISA on arrival as you don’t fill any form. You just make a payment that’s it.
Hey .. approximately how much Bali currency is needed per person per day ..
Bali is visa free till 31 dec so still we need visa for 7 days
it is NOT visa free. Yes you will require VISA (please follow the process mentioned in the video)
I m vaccinated but I don’t know where my certificate is still I can go ?
you will find your certificate on COWIN website. It is linked with your Adhaar card so you can never lose the certificate.
Khushboo ..just one doubt, if i give 100$ at visa on arrival, will they give me back exactly 65$ in IDR ? Or eill there be a international money exchange charge reduced in that too ??
There will be a different exchange rate going on at the airport. So they will give 65$ back but their exchange rate will be bad as it is airport.

Airline different hy to transit visa bhi lagta hy
Depends if the terminal is getting changed or not. If it changes, you will need it.
Your PNR and terminal should be the same in case of connecting flights, you won't need transit visa then. Try to book same operator flights as well.
