hi, 3-star hotels will cost you 2500-3000 rupees in the city centre with breakfast. budget hotels will be cheaper.

Go to hostelworld use filter with breakfast, 8+ rating by customers, near city centre. If there are too many hostels, make it 9+ rating by customers. Then, put the same hostel name on agoda and see if you are getting a better deal there (most probably you will). Or directly use the filters on agoda only and book. (Hostelworld specializes in hostels thats why if you are very picky, then it will help.)

I am also in same doubt; there are new visa rules (60 days extension); I’m traveling on last week of December. Is visa on arrival still applicable?

as of now it is VISA FREE until further notice by the government. (atleast 1 month prior the notice will be given so if you are planning for christmas/new years... you can consider the entry VISA FREE)

please unki website check karo, apko answer mil jayega. it is usually very expensive... and they only check your handbaggage, uske alawa if you have small bag wo usko nhi check karte (like lady's bag or small backpack just for your essentials). I am not sure but they did not check mine when I took a domestic flight in Malaysia.

I saved up some money before quitting my job. And I do budget trips to make that saved up money last longer. 😊

hey... I don't have much idea but you can do is download grab app and just check hanoi (old quarters) to ninh binh (select a destination and put it for ninh binh). You will get a rough idea.

i took a day bus from hanoi to sapa (6hrs travel). there is also a night bus but you will reach early and won't get a check in until 2pm which is really annoying. sapa to ninh binh... again took a bus... they said 8 hrs but actually it took 6 hrs and i reached at 4.30 am and didn't get a checkin until 12.30 pm. 😭 you can take a bus from ninh binh to central vietnam or a flight from hanoi. hi thank you :) for transportation I used local hrtc buses. wherever you are and next destination kaise pahuchna hai, locals will help you along with bus timings. Otherwise you can use private taxis, extremely expensive option. To travel within the village/town - you can walk, hitchhike or hire a local taxi and sometimes buses.

for bali to east java you can check here and book - 12go.tp.st/yvc23Im4 you can check the itinerary section, if you are looking specifically for east java then you have to reach malang (use the above website) and from there you can take a tour for mount bromo (offline you will get better deals).
