So It's off to the Brecon Beacons with my girlfriend and our two dogs for 2 nights of backpacking and Wild Camping. And a spot of Wild Swimming too!
Starting the day off with a wild swim, we set off for an amazing days hike up Fan Brycheiniog, with wonderful views of llyn y fan fawr and llyn y fan fach. Frustratingly when I got home to view it, I found my memory card was corrupted. Very upsetting, but all the more reason to go again! So the sound and quality might not be as good, as the second half was filmed on phone and go pro.
We still enjoyed a very peaceful camp, next to a couple of waterfalls, and a little pool, we spent the night enjoying the sound of the water, distant sheep and the overall brilliant sound of nothing.

If the two of you are cold on outdoor sleepover try this, zip the bags together and share warmth. or get -30 F sleeping bags.

@@Wanderwithvickers Most have the same zippers as jeans and coats, Companies don't make them they buy then from another company that only makes zippers.

Another lovely spot you've found I love the sounds of running water, These video's are a pleasure to watch so inspirational for others to get out and enjoy the outdoors and get away from tech. Get outdoors and the world slows down so much to enjoy stay safe and enjoy.

@@Wanderwithvickers Im up Tockholes in BLackburn, I have a 30ft training lead I use for my Dog, loop it round a tree but I also have those spiral spikes x be safe x
With memory cards it’s always worth paying the extra for pro cards brands Sandisk, Lexar used for years in a professional capacity never let me down. Also rule of thumb after each use of a card format the card to wipe any latent memory and keep the card in tip top shape. Like the channel, chilled out content and a sub from me 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏕⛺️🏕🏕⛺️👍😀

Done that area many times and camped at both the lakes. There are some great legends about "The fair folk" and Merlin from that area. Check out the local author Chris Barbour.
Ah fab, I really want to camp at the top of brychinog 😍 need to check some of those out. I was reading abit about the lady of the lake which was interesting!

Wander with Vickers could recommend driving up Hardknott pass if you get to the Lakes a steep hill to drive .Around area of catherdral quarry great langdale is cool

Ah really, yeah its a very tight fit for sure! I've not had it in much wind tbh, but I definitely would feel safe in it, seems very sturdy

Dogs cause untold damage and distress to our beautiful wildlife! if you must bring your dog in to the countryside.. please please please keep it on a lead at all times..
I live in the countryside. If you watch the video, you will see they are on the lead all the time (and on a dog stake at camp/ by edge of the lake) except when we allowed them 10 minutes off for a monitored little swim.
