I really enjoy your videos. The music and your comments are always refreshing. Love it “there’s beer in the truck” a beer after an adventure is always the best!👍

The beer right after a hike, might be one of my favorite parts of backpacking! 😂 🍻

Very nice. I just love these trip reports with these obscure trails in the Bitterroots. When I was younger, everything had to be so grand and majestic - the very qualities that make trails so crowded, especially here in western Washington. I’ve been paying a lot more attention to areas where I can just hang my hammock (where tents are tricky, even) and have some solitude.

Amen! I've grown to love these shoulder season hikes. In this particular area I've hit at least one of the trails every year for the past few years. Some turn out better than others, but for me the adventure is walking into the unknown!

Sweet! Nice to see some alpine! I finally got out backpacking for a 38 miler in four days in Canyonlands NP last week and it was so good to be back on trail. I can’t wait to camp in a forest and have a camp fire! You definitely had it to yourself! Good to see you out again!
