I had the immense pleasure of being there in 2017. A beautiful, magical place on the other side of the world from me here in Canada. At the time I thought I'd fulfilled one of my lifetime dreams of staying in a safari lodge, but it only left me hungry for more. I can't tell you what that was like in words. You just have to be there to understand. And now, with my beloved Khanyisa in the picture, my lifelong dream has been extended to seeing her in person, even if it's from afar. My bucket list just got longer. Someday soon little Sunshine!

I'm a return guest. Have visited four times since 2015, and can highly recommend the lodge. There are staff there whom I met the first time, and that provides even a more welcoming feeling. 🙂 🐘

@@evangelieabs For me, their winter (I.e., around July) is the best. It's not so hot and it's supposed to be better for viewing wildlife because the animals come to the dams to drindrunk, also not so much foliage to block viewing. But is dry and not very green...

Wow! This video really captures the essence of such a magical experience that visiting Jabulani Safari would bring! If my dream came true and I were able to travel to S. Africa from my home in the U.S., you better believe the only place that I would stay is at the Jabulani lodge so I could further support my beloved Khanyisa and her amazing family of ellies and humans alike! My heart would soar higher than the clouds if in person I could watch the entire herd frolicking down at the water hole or watching them return home from a day of foraging walking around the dam during a gorgeous S. Staying at Jabulani it’d be a really unforgettable experience, not only for the peaceful surroundings, awesome hospitality at the lodge, fabulous cuisine but also for being able to see the magnificent herd of elephants and many other animals. Best of all, the lodge helps the orphanage which has done so much for the elephants & the orphans.. 💗🐘

Who would want to leave Africa when places like these are accessible to our citizens? Tourists from far and wide pay a fortune to come and stay here and view magnificent reserves like this one. It's definitely on my bucket list, but I will just have to be patient .... I live in South Africa and this is where I will stay. I am too old to move anyway.
Dear Adine;
I had the unhappy experience of watching a video of twin elephants on another channel recently. I noticed chains on some of the elephants and some were rocking repeatedly. I left a comment about my dislike of the use of chains and was sent a reply which was used for every person who commented on the chains.
Their excuse is that they have over 80 elephants on-site and the new mothers are chained to prevent them from killing the babies! Can you direct me to information about why this is wrong? I would appreciate it.
Well what country? Was it India or Thailand? Their reasoning is so irrational that it leaves you speechless. They probably over vbreed the females, so they can get more tourists to see baby elephants. Both countries are known for systematic generational cruelty to elephants and all animals. Try Ms. Lek at ENP. She may be able to give some rational answers on how to stop this exploitation and non stop cruelty. she has built a elephant sanctuary in Thailand, and is well known among her country and even the world. She rescues exploited and starved and abused elephants vin Thailand.
