Hello,, The assistant show designer of Evermore here. Your giddiness and excitement is exciting and inspiring to see. Thank you for your video! Cant wait to see you for Lore!
Can you awesome people please build one of these in Big Bear City CA? We have Octoberfest, ski slopes, big lake and giant trees. Very "German" SoCal town. Our sister city is Abtenau Austria. Lots of room for this and Disney is building a new resort right down at the bottom of our mountain! We need this in our tiny town.
@@sargentwaag1483 just because there is alot to do already in California doesn't mean CA or other states don't need something similar... I could totally see Ren Faires settling down permanent locations across the US and doing very similar stuff... considering how much variety is across Europe and it's historical locations you could make entirely unique locations in every state and offer something for people who can't leave their states and yet be awesome enough for people who can go to multiple locations too

Hello my name is Tamara , I want to thank you for the kind words you left at the end of this lovely video ! I was just getting ready to watch another and exit this one when you came close to the camera and began to speak your words of inspiration ! I so very much needed those words today , this was my first time watching you and your beautiful family . So enjoy your video and you adventure , I will be watching as I have liked and subscribed and am looking forward to being a part so to speak of your family's journeys ! I love Evermore Park. They have three seasons; Lore the Halloween stuff, Aurora which is Christmas/winter themed. Then Mythos in the summer. This is your more 'traditional' fantasy with elves, dwarves, knights, pirates and fairies. Each season has a different story line and guilds you can join. It's a lot of fun. If you are in Utah you should come visit.
Thanks for posting this video, Chris. I didn't get to visit before it closed down. I didn't know where it was located, and I'm just two cities away in Orem. I thought it was in Midway or Heber.
Ever since I learned about this place a year or so back I've always wanted to go! It's so cool to get a closer look at what the place is actually like inside. I might have to stop by after Fan X This year!
I love how simple this is it only needs some dark rides. Also this places feels like some friends/creative people's dream came true. They were like we can do this and did it. This is the American spirit I can get behind. Well done Evermore!!
That is exactly what it is. The guy who started it loves halloween. Like put together huge haunts in his own house and yard every year. This place went through YEARS and years of development and changes. It was insane to follow it and see it evolve and then finally be built. It is unique. There's nothing else really like it. Certainly not where your own presence shapes the story of the park. There have been homages added permanently to the park to honor guests (called world walkers) who have had a large influence on the story. And it isn't a static place. Characters idsappear, get killed. Others come. It is always changing, day to day.
I love that the Lizard is legit named "Trogdor, the Burninator" Oh, my gosh!! Homestar runner flashbacks! I HAVE to make it here one day!! Thank you for this video!!
17:29 The reason why the beware of rabbits sign is up is because the year before vendors would give you DND dice sets if you captured a rabbit and showed them it before letting it be released. When word got around to the regulars they went to the caretakers of the animals and brought the knowledge to them. The caretakers put a stop to that immediately. The animals of the park should not be disturb without supervision as they are also considered wild animals. The rabbits moved in, they were not brought into the park.
Never been there, but hopefully one day we'll be over in Utah! Too many comments to read through to check, but one of the gears was near the copper pot you guys touched. Thanks, I enjoyed the video.
I’m so glad you shot this as I’ve always wanted to see it! The original creative director and designer was a good friend and former Disney Imagineer Josh Shipley. I can see where a lot of the inspiration and immersive ideas came from. So sad he’s not there anymore. Thanks for sharing the fun!
Dude, I had never heard of your channel before, and it popped up in my suggested videos, and I clicked out of curiosity. I was doing some work around the house, feeding the animals, changing their water, giving them their meds, and just getting ready to settle in for the night. I figured, hey that looks kind of neat, I’ll leave it on for a couple of minutes and then go to one of my usual channels. While watching, I kept thinking that it would have been really cool to take my step kids there when they were younger, but they’re all in their 20s now. Honestly, a couple of them might still think it was pretty cool, but it’s hard to get them all together very often. Anyway- I ended up watching the whole thing, and I’m a little embarrassed to admit it, but the ending totally caught me off guard, and my eyes welled up with tears and I started crying. I’m a fairly big guy, heavily tattooed, pierced… parts, and people usually give me a bit of a wide berth, as I look a little intimidating to some people, but here I am, crying in my kitchen because some guy in a video said something that I really needed to hear and I didn’t know it until right then. I guess that I want to say thank you. I’ve been having a bit of a hard time, and I don’t talk to anyone about it, other than the dogs, so it really meant a lot to me to hear that. I appreciate it, and I think you’re fantastic- your video was really entertaining, and, well- you know how I feel about the end. Thanks, and I wish nothing but the best things in life (and beyond) for you and your family. Take care, buddy. I gave you a like and subscribed before I even started typing. 👍🏻
Thank you for doing this review! I have wanted to go to Evermore, but I didn't want to use the time and money until I knew it was worth it. You rock, Chris!
I went there a few years back, before the pandemic. They were just starting up, and had plans for the train. I'm glad it's still around and I would love to go back!
This park looks really awesome! I also appreciate the respect with which you treat your kiddo, it’s nice to see that this channel seems to be centered around your experience rather than interrupting your kid’s experience!
Wooow! What a cool & enchanting place! I already know the landscape of the Utah mountains are beautiful but to have this charming place nestled in between with amazing buildings, props, and full in-character immersion is just awesome! How magical!!! So jelly!!! ❤️🏰⛰🌳🗡🦙🦉🎶🎻🪗🪄🧙♂️
People in Utah are used to the white shirt and tie, but not when paired with those shorts. When (if) I make it to Utah again I'll have to swing by Evermore, it looks like a blast!
Thanks for coming down to visit our crazy little park. Love living right by it. You'd think going frequently would be boring, but it's not, the story changes daily. There are a lot of quests that can keep you very busy. It's not so heavily scripted, like Disneyland stuff is where they say the same things and the story never changes. This place is so different. When you first walk in you kinda wonder what in the world this all is, it feels a little cheesy, corny... but pretty quickly you get sucked in. Evermore starts to feel like a legitimate little village caught out of time. The Evermorians do such a great job bringing it to life. Genuine, unique interactions with everyone. Layers upon layers of things to do. Sometimes quests intersect with other quests. Sometimes guilds are in direct competition. Hidden little magical moments all over. And the fact that it evolves every day, changes, grows, is never the same. It's unique and special. And impossible to really explain to people.
We love this park!!! Their Halloween adventure is awesome. If you come to the Halloween adventure make sure you come in your Halloween costume and there is fun haunts for all ages. In their Christmas adventure. they completely make the whole park into a Charles Dickens wonderland.

I haven’t been to Evermore in a long time but wow has it grown! There wasn’t a candy shop, there wasn’t even a map when I went. You just wandered and hoped for the best. But wow they have really stepped up their game! I think I’m going to have to return soon.
My wife and I went to Evermore for our honeymoon lol. Love this place to bits. It's too far to visit anything like regularly (about an 8 hour drive), but I hope to go back soon. This place needs more publicity!
Visit in the Spring for Mythos and you can join the dragon trainer's guild. They've got a really awesome baby dragon puppeteered by one of the "trainers" that is ridiculously adorable and kids love to pet.
Trogdor the Burninator was looking to kidnap Princess Marzipan so the brave Sir Homestar Runner would have to come save her! His handler swiftly put a stop to the shenanigans though.
Chris you're an amazing host of your channel! Dude I keep coming back to your videos so often just cause of how much fun you have! even when everyone else is serious you just have a way of playing it all down and making everything lighthearted. Keep making videos, they're awesome!
Love that y'all did a local park. My son would love this! Fun fact the U of U actually helped Disney build their animatronics. My son found a video on UA-cam of a trip in 1990 and that clip was included in the Lincoln video played. What?!!!!!!!!
Wow, this place looks so amazing. I have never seen anything like this type of theme park before. The interactive storytelling feature it has looks like lots of fun and I totally want this experience sometime. It's so majestic looking and I like the animals that roam the areas. Thank you for introducing me to a new theme park outside of Disney!! This is now going on my bucket list!!

Wow what a wonderful place thank you for sharing it it looks like you and your family had a lot of fun on your next visit please go into great detail on what kind of food and drinks they have there thank you
I love Evermore soo much. I followed their progress for years before they opened because I thought it was so impossible it must be a tax scam. As soon as they opened we went and were blown away and now go at least once annually. It's crazy how much is hidden and changes. I've never seen those buttons before and I've seen multiple setups in many of those buildings. For example in the crypt/cemetery we've seen vampires (a mix of real people and fakes), a massive interactive ogre, and a skeleton with a cursed amulet during different visits.
What an amazing place!!!! My husband and I would love to go there!!! We were actually married at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire almost 21 years ago!! Thank you for sharing your experience!!!☺️
What an unbelievably bizarre park. It looks haphazardly thrown together half the time, but like a professional exhibit at other times. Supremely weird. I love it.
First time discovering your channel and I loved this video. I never heard of Evermore but I go to lots of Renaissance Faires in costume and I think that Evermore looks amazing. Just a side note as you were having fun pressing buttons, I noticed as you touched the copper bowl and the kettle started to steam that there was a silver gear right next to the kettle on the left side of it. Surprised you didn't notice it. Thank you for this fun video, I felt like I was there, and enjoyed every moment of it.
Chris & Amanda - Great video! What a beautiful place to visit and quest in. We are lucky to have a yearly Renfest near us from Aug - Oct in Ohio. But to be able to visit there almost all year long is so cool! Thanks for taking us along with you!
Love your family . Amanda Miles and you Chris. All your adventures with your family is a joy to watch. If no o e has said to you YOU ARE AMAZING/AWESOME ALSO encouragement from you is always a sweet to hear
What a fun place to go. First time I ever heard of it was when you did your spooky video from there. Now after seeing it in the daytime I definitely need to visit!
My husband and I are planning on renewing our vows there and having a big fantasy wedding Cinderella dress including that place is so magical and was the first real place my husband and I had our first real date there last year during the pumpkin festival. We wouldn’t have even gone there if it wasn’t for fanX last year.
The park property was recently bought by the same guy who bought Skinwalker Ranch, and since then the park has seen a lot of progress and completion of various areas and attractions
"We are like, so distracted. We've got to go find the gears. We are now on the way... oh my gosh, look how pretty that looks. " I felt the same way. Every time I go, there's a small quest and so many distractions. We have completed some though. And my daughter and I have both joined guilds.
Yowza! I really appreciate your message at the end..your energies are infectious..great video! ( I live just 3 miles from this place and have been twice but haven’t made it there this year..yet. Thanks for the adventure walk through 😊❤
For a second I thought this was Adam Savage's lesser known, slightly more manic, brother who recently became Mormon. Yeah that was overly specific. Love your energy man! New subscriber now.
Yoooooooooooooooo I was there that exact night. My dad passed him when he was leaving from dropping me off with some friends and it is such an amazing place. Also if you stick your hand through the bars in the chapel place than it will tell you something just a heads up for next time. There where some other cool buildings like the dragon school and the inside of the chapel and there are other cool things to check out when you go.
So wonderful of you to show this amazing place it looks like one heck of a good time and I was so happy to explore the entire park along with you guys and boy do I love ❤️ exploring new places and I will say everything you showed throughout the park was amazing even the animals and I’m a sucker for animals man what a great place now I can’t wait till you guys go back to explore even more of the park and I’ll be there to explore right along with you thanks again for one heck of a good time now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Chris Amanda and Miles and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you peace ☮️ out ✌️

Maybe the more unpretentious setting of an Oktoberfest is easier to pull off and more effective than the heavy LARPing it usually goes for.

I love it... You made the "water" come out of the barrel. I would love to see Lore and Aurora there.
Evermore is as good as the energy that you put into it. It's great
Thank you for showing us something so cool. My husband and I are making plans to go there with are girl. So excited 😊 love your videos ❤️
Thank you for the message, Chris! I needed it today!
I'm glad you found Evermore.
I love all the advantages and knowledge you show us. You guys are the best. Thank you PPP
Its normally like a D&D adventure Park. I really want to go.
Yooohooo big summer blow out 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This might be the only thing that could lure me into Utah. Very cool.
looks like a nice fun wholesome place, and beautiful people...I don't think many places like this exist anymore..
If you want to find any of the gears, you could have seen the one gear in front of the iron stove where the copper pot was at.
My husband and I are planning on renewing our vows there and having a big fantasy wedding Cinderella dress including that place is so magical and was the first real place my husband and I had our first real date there last year during the pumpkin festival. We wouldn’t have even gone there if it wasn’t for fanX last year.
I can’t believe how this place has grown since I first read about the experience when it opened
The park property was recently bought by the same guy who bought Skinwalker Ranch, and since then the park has seen a lot of progress and completion of various areas and attractions
Glad to see Trogdor is still alive and well, burninating the countryside.
This looks like a ton of fun! I hope I can get out to Utah one day to visit!
Thanks for the adventure walk through 😊❤
Wow, what a unique cool park. Looks fun. Thanks for showing. Be Safe Take Care
For a second I thought this was Adam Savage's lesser known, slightly more manic, brother who recently became Mormon. Yeah that was overly specific. Love your energy man! New subscriber now.
I can't wait to see more pf these videos. This was a lot pf fun.
How have I lived in Utah my 24 years of life and never knew about this 🙃 this is so cool thanks Chris for a very cool video 😄

Just wanted to thank you for introducing our family to Evermore. Never heard of this place before, but now we are planning a trip early next summer. Always love your Disney content, but this was something unexpected and special.
Watch the Jenny Nicholson video on it. It’s very helpful when making the decision to go or not.
