Wow, I’m a former 13 year cast member and I didn’t know these 5 secrets! And I worked on Big Thunder Mtn, Haunted Mansion and Country Bear Jamboree for many years! After all the videos you’ve created about Disneyland, it must be hard coming up with new and entertaining content, but you still find a way to bring it every time and keep it fresh! Love PPP! 💙💚
When he says you have a friend in provost park pass he really means it, I saw him and Amanda and he gave me a big hug and took pictures with me. Thank you!!
At 2:12, on the right, there is a guy and gal sitting next to each other. As Chris walks by, the woman notices him and smacks the guy in the shoulder to get his attention as she is so excited to see Chris!
I knew Big Thunder Mt and the Tiger Tails. It’s awesome how Disney takes an OLD attraction or restaurant and keeps some of its memories in the park. There are so many.
Chris....for real, you can make me get super emotional during every single video. Your awareness of mental issues is BEYOND GRACIOUS! So many people don't truly understand the dark place that people can go. YOU MAKE ME FEEL ACKNOWLEDGED. Not even my family acknowledges things. They have said to me out loud, that they think my psychiatrist has changed me and turned me into this person. And it is so sad that I am losing my DIRECT family members, because they think I am a joke. Jeff and Amanda...I LOVE YOUR HEARTS...AND YOUR SOULS.
@@kimberlymacandog7616 Don’t feel bad you had his name right in the beginning. Everyone has a moment where they type the wrong name or say the wrong name I know I have. Have a good night and your words were beautiful and so true to Chris and Amanda and I know they will appreciate it. You are special and we are all special and Chris has helped us to know that I know I struggle myself due to some very difficult circumstances but I don’t see a way out of and I am very thankful for them.💚💙 I know a lot of us so thankful for them your words really exemplified how we feel.
I’ve eaten at the chicken of the sea restaurant and I also remember Skull rock. Also before Big Thunder there was the Mine Train through Natures Wonderland. The town of Rainbow Ridge from that retired attraction is used as theming for Big Thunder. Also from Mark Twain you can still see some of the old mine train tracks.
Even crazier is that in the Winnie the Pooh ride you will find the heads of Max the deer, Melvin the moose, and Buff the buffalo mounted on the wall inside as a remembrance of the older ride. You have to look up and behind as you exit the big room.
I finally saw them after years of trying. Chris gave such a great description saying it’s right after the honey room and turn around and look up. I was sooo excited to see memories of my childhood. So cool.
I love it when someone recognizes you in the background and they grab their partner to point and say LOOK! It’s Provost Park Pass! I love it because that would be me too! Cheers! 🎉
I knew 2 out of the 5. And I only know those because of you. Your videos are so fun and informative. We just love them and your channel brings us much joy. Thank you
First, I love how many people you walk past who are so excited to see you, and you have no idea that they have recognized you and that they are smiling at you. I didn't know any of these deep secrets and thoroughly enjoyed this video.
Awesome video! I only knew about number 3 captain Hook’s hook. However, I learned about it from a previous video you did❤thanks for the fun facts! Air hugs!!!
Chicken of the Sea was awesome as a themed restaurant and backdrop, though I remember it as Captain Hook's Galley (the name after Chicken of the Sea dropped sponsorship). Great video!
As a local pass holder I can’t believe I didn’t know any of these! And the “you’re amazing” reminder brought happy tears to my eyes! Love your videos 🥳
Hey Chris! Great video. As an Asian Disney fan, I always enjoy watching your vids about Disney Parks in America since I can't get there. However, I'd like to point out a mistake! Grizzly Gulch represents HONG KONG, not TOKYO. In Tokyo, the town does not have an official name, although the name of a train station situated in Tokyo's Western River Railway train ride has the name 'Stillwater Junction'. Although the Western River Railway takes off from Adventureland, it crosses Critter Country and Westernland, and the 'Stillwater Junction' stop represents Westernland, leading people to believe that is supposed to be the name of the town there. In Hong Kong, the entire area Frontierland area is known as Grizzly Gulch, and their version of Big Thunder Mountain is called 'Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars'.
Awesome Video Chris!! I read so many books on Disney secrets and I didn’t know any of these!! Love to see the group together, I can’t believe how big Miles has gotten!!
The original tiggertail that had the orange crystal sugar was better than the new one. The orange flavor tastes weird and artificial , but the extra marshmallow is nice❤
The original one was also dipped in white chocolate with dark chocolate stripes, which tasted a lot better, but more technically difficult and time-consuming to make. I believe the new chocolate is also coating chocolate, which doesn't taste as good either 😹
Dad jokes AND five mins with Miles n Amanda!! Yay!!!!! Such a beautiful family. All the secrets were new to me. I've seen caps hook but I had no idea it used to hang out near hungry bears restaurant! Well done as always Cris, stay cool!
I LOVE this! We still have the book that included a checklist of hidden Mickeys found around the park our boys used when we visited the park when they were little! All these little details make exploring Disneyland feel like you’re on a magical hunt for “hidden” treasures and details! So FUN! 🤩
I KNEW 0/5 OF THESE! I'm always impressed when I find a Disneyland video with actual new facts! Thank you so much for sharing! Also how did you learn about them?
OK so the only one I knew was the Thunder Mountain one from your secrets revealed videos. The pics in Pooh's corner is super cool! This video got me thinking though...since most of the secrets were in different lands...have you done a video with the best kept secret of each land? That could be fun! Love you guys, have a great trip!
I’ve been going to Disney land for the last 50 years,,, and thought I knew pretty much everything about Disney land! You stumped me all five times!!! But now I know!!! Thank you! And thank you for your message about all of us being special!!! You are so cool for saying this! God bless you!
My first time EVER at Disneyland was in 1987 at the age of 21 . My first roller coaster EVER was Big Thunder Mountain! I still remember every moment!!!!
I just want to say thank you. I spent a lot of time deciding of I should visit Disney because no one wanted to go with me. Your videos and the message you send out sealed my decision. Thank you.
Thanks Chris for so much new info! The only one I knew was the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad signs. I can't remember if I heard it from a previous video you did, or from Justin Scarred Randomland.

Lol… Chris, you continually inspire me! I’ve been working with the company for around 30 years and I didn’t know any of these things! Then again, I know more about installing entertainment then most anyone but we all have our specialities!
I have to say that while I have seen the hook with the lantern hanging from it many times waiting for the Peter Pan ride and I’ve seen the sign pointing 4 directions to the towns on the thunder mountain ride, I didn’t know what they signified. I didn’t know the other 2 plus the tip about the marshmallow treats at Pooh corner SO thank you, Chris for all these secrets, you’re amazing!
Chris, did you ever do a video about what's left of the Sky Buckets loading stations? I heard there's a piece of a foundation for a support pole in the que for Mr. Toad. I love these types of videos you do. Thanks Chris. 😊

This is truly awesome. My husband and I are going to Disneyland for the first time later this year and love little secrets and trivia. Oh and we’re definitely trying the Tigger tail!
I didn't know any of these. As a matter of fact I have seen the sign at Big Thunder Mountain for years , I never knew what it meant! Thanks Chris for everything you do!

I know about the signs on Thunder Mountain, but did you notice who is standing there reading them? Go to 13:57 and look at the 'tree' and tell me that's not who I think it is! :)
Love these deep secrets, #5 haunted mansion we did not know about. That was soo interesting and cool. #4 Winnie the Pooh is Sunny’s favorite and Country Bear was Aimee’s and we did know about the picture in Poohs Corner. Love the history of the book. #3 We actually knew about this one. I believe you told us about that during one of our encounters we had at Disneyland:) 9:30 you are Awesome and thank you. #2 We did know about the sign at BTM. Love it. #1 Love the Tigger Tail and love the tip. Did not know this and we will definitely get the tigger tail. We must compare these when we go back. That you guys so much.
So glad to have met you and your family! Thanks for showing us the hidden lizard/gecko. You guys are awesome and my wife and I love your content. Clark and Lisa
Two of five. Country Bear Jamboree photos and Big Thunder sign posts. Thank you PPP. When I travel to Disneyland with friends and family I take them to see the "secrets revealed". Thank you for your moment of encouragement. Love back to Chris, Amanda, and Miles.
Did you know that Disneyland use to make and sell its own rock candy? That candy shop (where they made it so people can watch it being made) was inside the castle. As you’re not walking into the castle from the hub to Fantasyland the shop was on the right side. It came in a see though “treasure chest”
4/5. I didn’t know about the Hook! I’d love to see a picture of that original sign. The CM who pointed the ironwork secret out to me called them peacocks, but another CM later in the day saw me looking and asked if I was looking at the phoenixes. So, who knows!
I knew of only one of the secrets: the lantern hanging from Captain Hook's hook. However this touch still amazes me along with the others which were new for me. And, your presentation is always astounding. Tigger Tails rule! Thanks, Chris.
I loved number four with the Bear Country Jamboree. That was one of my favorite attractions. I knew they left the heads of Buff, Max, and Melvin on the ride. But I did not know about the paintings and that Pooh is floating where Teddi Barra would swing. Thanks for the tip on the Tigger Tail too.
I'm a huge Disney fan and I didn't know any of these. I so appreciate your videos and your positive energy. Whenever I need a bit of a Disney fix, I check out one of your videos. Every time, you make it fresh, interesting, and uplifting. THANK YOU for ALL that you do!!
I knew half of the Teddy one, knew that is where she used to swing down, but didn't know that painting existed. Also knew the Tigger tail. Didn't know the rest. Now I know more, thanks for sharing.
I knew about #2 from YOU, Chris. I also knew about the 1st one for the same reason. The ending was cute with you and the family enjoying a Tigger treat together.
Tigger Tails having an extra marshmallow was a surprise and made me laugh! That's one of my favorite treats. But if the price goes up, I'm going to have words with you 😂
I was worried after you got me on the first two!!! But I came back and actually knew the last 3. I love learning new Disneyland facts!!! Thanks so much!
I did know about the Hook hook. Who doesn’t love Thunder Mountain? Got ride it every time there. I have seen the Rainbow Ridge sign but never noticed the other locations! Happy Wednesday!
We just booked our California vacation for late September! Not our first time, but my youngest wil be turning 11, so, still special. Can't wait to experience Star Wars Land! Thanks for the videos. Been a few years and totally soaking up the changes with your awesome vidoes. Cheers from Alberta!
I don't remember the light on the hook representing Captain Hook from the Chicken of the Sea Restaurant, but we did have lunch there once. I have an idea for why the Tigger tail marshmallow treat has four marshmallows. Tigger was always happy to be bouncing and he used his tail like a spring to help him bounce.
Chris I didn’t know ANY of those secrets!! And I’ve been going to D-land forever. Thanks for bringing the fun. BTW, because of you I tried the marshmallow treat. Loved it!!
0 out of 5 and appreciate all the tips, secrets and facts you dig up and share with us. A big THANK YOU for great information and great entertainment. Your family is lovely 🥰
I did not know ANY and I am a huge Disney fan and a TA that specializes in Disney. Thank you! I did know the tigger tail is the best treat but did not realize it had 4 marshmallows versus the 3! Thanks for sharing:
Hi Chris, Don't know if you have noticed this already. There are the three bear heads above and behind you as you exit the pooh ride. They used to be on the walls of pooh corner when it was the country bear gift shop.
I've never been to Disneyland, so I didn't know any of these, but I am not surprised by the Pooh Corner Portraits because they did the same thing in the Whinnie the Pooh ride in Magic Kingdom with a portrait of Owl receiving the deed to Toad Hall. Also, I believe every Big Thunder has that signpost with the directions and distances changed depending on the location. I know there is a sign post in Magic Kingdom at least.

He mentions that many times in a few videos. The hot air balloon is also from country bear jamboree and was the swing.

It’s hard to catch on video or take a picture. Tried a few times. Pooh Hunny Hunt which Chris went on in Japan is next level.
Luv the band!

I am absolutely confident in saying with much gusto that I knew absolutely nothing =) Go Padres! and much love to Provost Park Pass!
Love the Dad jokes and your uplifting messages
