MAGNIFICENT song...the words are breathtakingly beautiful. I hope they have all reached a far better place...and never forgotten for the lives they gave to other mens' ambition.
There are no words, no centeces, no lotters, no books to describe for what they did, for what happened.. For what they fight for.. For what they lost. They are herroes, they where normal people.. Now.. They where Soldiers.. Who lived and died.. For me.. For you.. For al of us... Let us pray for all of them.. For the dead.. And the ones who are still allive.. Out there.. We honner you... - Quest -

And yes, The Picture is of the La Drang, but not just because of the movie. I chose this because it truely captures the feeling of being there, from the blades of the chopper, to the guys in the dirt, its a moment frozen in time. And from what I remember the guy who originally posted the picture said the guy laying down was shot not to long afterwards, and the guy in the backround was also hit and maybe killed. All and all, i thought it suited the song. again thanks everyone. Its Remembrance day today, so even if you arent in Canada, take a moment to remember the fallen. Lest We Forget. Victos Honor.
The Ia Drang Valley...DAMN! what a place in history. So many good and bad things erupted from that battle. So many casualties, yet so much honor and glory was given... :'( :-[
