This game is worth 45 and I paid for the old console version. I wasn't happy to pay full price due to owning the legacy game physically...but this truly is a gem of a game wrapped up in a janky package.
As someone who has waited 8 years for an “update”… for someone who was unsure about my feelings about the game at first, but now absolutely love it,… it is SO worth buying right now!
I think I bought it for like 5 bucks on greenman gaming 3 years ago and got 300 hours out of this game.Honestly I wouldn't mind paying 45 since this game has a lot of content, good replay-ability and can entertain me for houndreds of hours.
I really don't agree. It is unique in its form and a blast to play alone too. You can build/destroy everything in the world and every quest is optional, your playstyle and/or playspeed will affect your gamestage and therefore give you a balanced experience everywhere you go. It is actualy a pretty refined game due to the long development (no, it's not fine tuned (yet), i agree). Fair price for a game. What is the difference between 20 and 40 bucks if your gonna play it and enjoy it?
Holy S***! You are right! I used the footage from the trailer thinking that this was a trailer for the future update for 7d2d... Not I realize it is a separate game... Thank you for pointing this out and I apologize for the mistake.
I like the game but right now its not worth 45 dollars. Game needs to be optimized , uses a lot of ram even for a voxel game and there is no endgame - once you get everything level 6 there is no reason to play. Despite the game being 1.0 its still not finished, it is estimated to be finished in 2025 and if you dont believe me the load up alpha 21 and see how little difference there is. Also the developers dont really listen to the community as they have stated before which is the thing that makes me not recommend buying it. If you want to play it id recommend getting it on a discount or pirating it since no matter if you bought the game or not the devs wont listen to you either way.
Question, why does so many people want an end game? I love the fact that the game never ends. I can play a map as long as I want to and if I get bored of a map I start a new one using different parameters or settings.
@@jcdenton2641 for the payoff. The entire game you are getting better and better gear to become stronger, so much in fact that in the end there is nothing that can go against you. Thats why most of us want endgame, i want something to challenge my existence , to show me why i needed to get all this stuff and get better.
Personally I think the game is good like things play well, the sights are fun to see, the zombies are a challenge but the game going from $25 to $45 is for sure gonna keep people from ever touching it and expanding on it unless someone feels like taking a chance on these devs which took even myself a while to come around and decide on doing. $45 for the lack of content is crazy, as someone in these comments already said; Compare the last alpha to the 1.0 version and watch how little of tweaks they made. $25 was good but $45 for nothing is just not justifiable
I purposely waited all these years to buy it at the 1.0 $45 price. I could have easily gotten it for cheap numerous times, but I'm more than happy with my mostly solo playtime and am looking forward to trying some mods as I would prefer no quests or traders. There is this afterlife mod I want to try once its been updated for 1.0.
I bought in pc for $35 and it was 100% worth it. My friends and I have a blast on our og world and don’t ever mind making new worlds with others ! For more than $45 I’d just wait but really the game is amazing !!!
will were i live i bought the game for $60 plus tax so for me is worth it its a lot better then what was on ps4 and i don't blame them for what happen to the ps4 version so when i heard that its coming to ps5 i had to get it and i do not regret buying its a great game
This game is worth the 45 dollars because it is the best and probably the only zombie survival game were you can build and go any were the is on Xbox to date
I bought it within the first year of the release, i have a addiction to this game. 100% worth buying if you have cash laying around, play with friends!
Wouldn't pay $45 for it, as I got it for $10 a couple of years ago(G2a has keys for under $4) but it's absolutely better than plenty of games for that price. Paid $100 for Diablo 4, for example, and have half the playtime that I do for 7 Days.
No it is not worth it. I play it for many years now and then. The most stupid part is that is was for like 10 years Alpha and now it is Beta or whatever. The whole thing is lacking story. You are in a empty world where there is nothing but ruins and zombis and 1990 like NPC traders that can speak five sentences. You level up, you build your endgame hordbase and thats it. The moment you finish your high level hordbase the game is over. Because you will play two or three hords in this base and then it is just not fun any more. What else is to do in this game? Nothing. You drive around, there are ruins with allways the same concept of exploration. There is no one exciting to meet, not dialoges, nothing special to find. It is not a bad game, there ja just lot of better ones.
yea.... It's a sandbox openworld survival game... what did you expect? It's a survivalplayers dream. It's normal that progression stops at a certain point
glad i got this game for like $2 a year ago i barely played it i couldn't get over the ugly Ui i know its petty but i just can't i heard they gonna rework it i just hope soon.

I have been playing since Alpha 21 and it’s so fun! I love this game…plus with all the mods it can be played for a long time!!
This game was worth the $25 for the survival game it WAS 8 years ago. This game isn't worth the $45 for the action game it turned in to.

Hey, if you love it and enjoy it, that all that matters. That's what we are all here for
Did you play the game? Because you showed footage for their other game "7 days blood moons"
Holy S***! You are right! I used the footage from the trailer thinking that this was a trailer for the future update for 7d2d... Not I realize it is a separate game... Thank you for pointing this out and I apologize for the mistake.
Thank you for mentioning the price change, it was absurd for game that is just a RUST reskin
The biggest problem for me is there's no couch co-op I find it more fun when I can play with a friend right next to me

Have it for the PS5 and it’s 100% worth the $45
7d2d is one of the best survival/crafting games bar none...i own it on Ps4 & ps5, xbox, and pc. Just fun and fully customizable play experience.

It’s a different game completely from what we paid for all those years ago. 110% worth it. Gotta try it
100% agree
i agree, 45 is insane eventho it is a good game.
I owned the legacy version so i only had to pay 30.

Like what? What can I play that’s better than this? Never seen another like it
If you’re pc master race, don’t answer
@@Nemo_Signs It is literally a minecraft copy in nearby every aspect. But with a way worse physics and building block engine.

It’s a different game. Completely different
bought it when it was 15
You need to play with friends.....
It's a glorified timer game and I hate timers.
It's a tower defense game.
