Hii nice video. im trying to make system where the character can open a door with keys and teleported to the next level. i made a system where the charcter if they go close to the door and press f they can teleport to the next level, i watched your tutorial to add the key system. the key system in itself works fine but the set haskey and get haskey does not work. can you help me
Wonderful Video! Is there a way to have the door push the character out of the way. I put collision on the door, but when stands in the way of the door and closes it, the passes thru the character. Is there a way to push the character aside? Or stop the door?
How do you transfer a variable to another blueprint like that like you make a variable in another blueprint and also have that same variable in another blueprint and then be connected
Hard way: Create an inventory system, probably a better way Easy Way: Create another key, create new id of that key and use some keyboard key to switch between keys to apply.
I would not call this a "system", as it is a VERY functional solution (meaning no reusability, no flexibility, etc) and is meant to only work and exist with a singular key&door combo.

Have you added collider to your character as well?

Either you can create a function within BP or create a BP interface so that you can share variables

You can use the timeline and trigger it. There is a module called flip flop which you can use
