Hi. I have a Mac Pro with M1 Silicon chip and VMWare Fusion installed. Spend two full days trying to get a Linux distro wokring (CentOS / Ubuntu), but in vain. Is there a Ubuntu installation video on Mac M1 chip with VMware Fusion ? (or atleast the link to which ISO to download) Thank You

I was hoping you'd run the geekbench on your mac directly so we could measure the VM overhead

@LinuxTechSchool Do you have an installation video, bc i just switched from a intel chip MacBook Air to the M1 Max MacBook and I trying to install the right VMs on it. I already have VMware Tech preview and Parallels. I am trying to install Kali Linux and Ubuntu on VMware. I don't know which iso to download bc i am still confused.

If you're on an M1 Mac then keep in mind that it's best to do arm based Operating systems. So for windows you will need windows 11 Arm and linux Ubuntu Arm is best. But if you prefer to use regular x86-64 based operating system you may need to look at emulation like UTM which uses QEMU. Hope this helps
