20.11.2021 - VN24 - Exemplary recovery of a stuck fuel tanker truck

VN24 - 20.11.2021 - Datteln / Germany - The driver of a tanker truck fully loaded with 27,000 liters of highly flammable gasoline fuel had come on a newly built road probably because of an evasive maneuver with the right wheels slightly on the unpaved shoulder and got stuck there. In the attempt to free himself, the wheels sank in more and more, so that the entire tanker got into a precarious sloping position. To ensure that no disaster occurred, a professional salvage company was called in to the scene. Using two tow trucks, one to pull and one to secure, the tanker was pulled back onto the solid road surface. No damage was caused. After a check, the truck was able to continue its journey to a workshop itself for further inspection.
