We always tell kids to never talk to strangers. But the thing is, abductors always find some way to attract a kid's attention to lure them in. Whether it's offering a balloon, candy, ice cream, toys, etc. This is why we must never let kids being alone.
Yeah but this was not a kid, he was a teenager, old enough to not be tricked with candy, balloons or toys, heck i learned not to talk to stranger when i was around 9 or 10, this boy was just plain stupid 😂
@@JorgeCP93he wasn't stupid. Finney was walking home from school as usual, and someone drops their groceries. Finney's just a nice kid who wanted to help a guy pick up his groceries.
Well, the years start coming and they dont stop coming, fed to the rules and he hit the ground, running mind you. It never made sense not to live for fun cuz you know, your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb.
The only thing I dislike about the movie is that we were never shown what made the Grabber the way he was or whether he had other goals aside from killing the kids. I thought we were at least going to see him struggle with some mental disorder but alas, we have to fill the blanks ourselves.
Finney's eyelids are swollen and his eyes may be red because The Grabber sprayed him in the face with a can of wasp spray/repellant. It looks like the spray mostly went in his mouth, but it also got in his eyes. In another scene The Grabber will ask Finney how his eyes feel and Finney says that they hurt.
If the sequel focused on the ghost of Finn & Gwen’s late mother, I think Rachel McAdams (who previously worked with @scottderrickson in @marvelstudios Dr Strange) would be a great choice. I also hope @masonthamesofficial and @madeleinemcgraw returns in the sequel, and especially @ethanhawke (even though his character died in the first film, but I still refuse to believe that he was killed all the way. I wish and hope there was a way to bring him back, or bring him back again in ghost form). In the sequel, will the Blake siblings’ formally, abusive dad die suddenly from an accidental alcohol poisoning after tearfully, apologizing for his treatment? Would Gwen used her dreams to sacrifice herself to save her brother just in case if The Grabber comes back? Also, will Finn and his crush Donna @beccafclarke make out 💋 soon? I’m just guessing. I also think Scott @universalpictures and @itsjasonblum should also direct, write, and produce a Black Phone prequel called The Grabber about an origin story by The Grabber with his real name with Ethan Hawke returning, so we can find out how the kids got kidnapped and killed by the hand of the Grabber. Was he abused by his father?

Very nice detail. It's good to see a slasher film where the universe doesn't just conspire to the killer's favor.

Thank You so much!

This was a great movie and a great story. Mason Thames and Ethan Hawke were perfect in their roles

Ya sabemos que las peliculas las hace lo rosado
what was sprayed in his mouth?
It’s just water from the look of it and Finney is pretending (acting) that it’s a poisonous chemical being sprayed on him so it makes him knock out!
It's probably chloroform to knock him unconscious.
wasp poison I believe
