Hey! For that police problem, remember that you have to make sure that all your service buildings need to be selected for the operating district for that town. so that they want go everywhere around your map.
can you please add a railway crossing for that part of the city? I was thinking maybe let the railway sink for a bit for one or two crossings and then back up again because having only one crossing right at the end of tne train station seems unrealistic

Yeah, I spotted this issue earlier as well. But I think it's been fixed (I could be wrong). But my problem is specifically cars just stop moving when they need to park, then when I look at them, they start moving again. It's a different issue.
The solution for for the traffic that parking lots are creating is that you have used asymmetrical road all around the city. As asymmetrical road don't have parking aloud on them they are creating traffic on parking lots. I am not 100% sure but I think that's the case . Btw love your series 🫶.

Alpha Gaming is beta testing some new surfaces, as in new, custom built surfaces! Early screenshots look really cool. Plus, fuzzy edges as well! I am indeed a happy chappy! The snapping thing? You just needed to toggle off the snap to zoning, leaving snap to existing geometry on, and you could have upgraded without the heartache.
there was a new mod released today, called Water Features i think. it allows you to place your own water sources, rivers, lakes etc. you should check it out!

Your frustration is perfectly valid - you really don’t have to apologise for “complaining”. There are parts of the game that are genuinely frustrating and it’s good that you point them out. Bugs can only be fixed if the developers know they exist!
You should start using developer mode to plop the buildings… since pdx mods are not going to be there for a while better start adapting 😅 Also the parking path issue is getting a patch in the upcoming update
Hey, about the road upgrading. You can unselect snapping to cell length and it should help with that. More services and sighing them to districts should help with high crime, etc. I get the same traffic problem time to time. For example today I didn’t get any bug. I think that CO has to work further to optimize this game. It is such a good game but sometimes so bad to play 😛

The whole town is a bottleneck it’s all unrealistic. We need more ways in out and around the town

The probplem with the parkings is that you have left hand drive and the parking entrances are right hand driving causing traffic problems

Thanks for all the tips. I must be honest, the zoning options of the road tools still hasn't sunk into my head yet. But will keep testing them out.

Trams usually don’t do loops. They connect one end of the area to the other similarly to subway lines.

Having multiple ways into the city would be a good idea. Creating those bottlenecks aren’t good for traffic
Other ways will be created as I build out the city.
Keep all police cars patrolling in their respective districts so they won’t be driving and patrolling all over the city

Your traffic problem is coming from anarchy! I had the same problem, when I Uninstall anarchy that traffic problem went away

to minimize traffic try to lower the number of transportation vehicles on the road. sometimes you don’t need that many for the routes.

Try raising taxes on the petrol station commercial type, should stop so many from popping up
