After defeating Peshwas in 1818 most of Indian territory came under British Raj. Then the rulers felt the need to construct huge buildings that would showcase their rich heritage. One such beautiful and grand building was Town Hall
'गोष्ट मुंबईची' या मालिकेतील चौथ्या भागात मुंबईत असलेल्या मिनी लंडनविषयी जाणून घेणार आहोत. ब्रिटिश राजवटीत मुंबईमध्ये अनेक पायाभूत सुविधा उभारण्यात आल्या. विशेषतः सुशोभिकरणाबरोबरच नियोजित शहर उभारण्याकडं ब्रिटिशांचा कल होता. त्याचाच एक नमुना म्हणजे मुंबईतील मिनी लंडनच्या वास्तूकलेतून बघायला मिळतो.

Thnx for releasing the original history of Mumbai. In Lower Parel West near stn. In Habib Buildings (three bldgs.) Oldest in that area more details could b collected from the old residents to know more about the charm and various cultures of Mumbai.

मुंबईतील अनेक ऐतिहासीक वास्तू बद्दल अशीच माहिती देत जावे.जेणे करून या वास्तू बद्दल पुढच्या पिढीला माहिती होईल.परंतु ही माहिती देताना detail चित्रीकरण करून द्यावी.एशियाटिक library chya आतील भागाचे चित्रीकरण दाखवले असते तर बरे झाले असते.आतील वास्तू ची भव्यता तेथील पुतळे.etc. मी कित्येक वेळा त्या library मध्ये जाऊन बसत असे.हा व्हिडिओ पाहून emotional झालो.जुन्या आठवणी जाग्या झाल्या.ही सीरिज अशीच चालू राहावी.
