MAD STORMY WEDGES IN THE UK // BISKIT TEN // THE SEASON OF EL NINO //

After a long testing summer El Nino kicked into full effect in the Atlantic producing some punchy swells for the UK. Watch as the biskit crew as well as the local Cornish community get their hands onto some chunky wedges. Fun, for sure, but the conditions are fairly messy and there was some serious getting dumped on, or washing-machines. It takes a certain beach culture, water competence, and specific surf competence to get in the water and perform on waves. And today's good wetsuits help. I haven't been around to watch, but it would seem that Cornish surf activity is thriving.

The wackest part is you’d see a group surfing out in conditions (not doing shit) like this in the states (rarely) and then it’s like 1-2 dudes bodyboarding and just thrashing asses off makes me sick to know how hard this sport gets shit talked yet has more competent riders IMO

@@Ki11ami11a US and Canadian Atlantic coast surfers are masters of chaos. North enough, of cold, too. This recent north Florida video shows modest, somewhat disorganized surf being used nicely by surfers.. Jacksonville is nowwhere near a hotspot for bodyboarding, alas.
