Rather than cutting the mould apart, could you join the removable blocks to the central frame with screws? Then it would be reusable.
Something I may consider if this internal mould to skeleton mould arrangement works well in practice.
Would it be worth putting some shims into the new cuts so that when you clamp ribs or blocks on, it doesn't distort the shape?
I did consider that, I gave the mould a good squeeze to check how much the individual sections moved and decided it wasn't enough to worry about. But yes, would be very easy to do.
