I took Home Economics class in junior high to meet girls. Struck out with the girls, but walked away with valuable sewing skills that I've used my entire life. I always found having dogs, that mending bedding, couch cushions, and towels that their claws tore up could really extend their usefulness. I really like that upholstery thread for stuff you need to make strong. Good video on a really underrated skill.

Thanks for another interesting video. I've always repaired my own gardening gear. Your sewing is much better than the "post mortem" stiches I've used in the past.
@@robert-yv2yj “post mortem” is a hilarious way to describe it. Maybe we can also call them “abstract” and “artistic” stitches. We’re not bad at sewing, we’re just expressing our creativity! 😆
