So he choose to go, and give her a chance to really live, while hoping that time will heal her. Will and Lou , both of them are unselfish. And i think love should be like that.
I liked the ending, it was raw and realistic. A romantic relationship would not magically overcome his daily misery and his constant struggles. A person like him would never change his mind.

Good movie. It’s hard “losing” someone you love. She’s young in the movie but in reality some people who are in their 40s, etc. never find someone else to be with after experiencing such a loving relationship. As I get older, I think I am learning to understand this concept.
Age has nothing to do with finding love. A person that is 99 can find love. If it's destined to be, it shall be no matter what, where, when or how old you are.

I love how this movie displays how much pain will was in. An adrenaline junky rich boy who couldn’t imagine a life shackled to a wheelchair. Completely shocked at how quickly he fell in love with what seems as a “ordinary girl”. He already made his choice but her love is what grounded him as well as opened herself up out of her shell. They both pulled the best qualities out of each other and it was such a heartbreak to find out that will could not keep living handicapped and robbed of his own happiness. Despite the love that he shared with Clarke he still couldn’t go on, but with his best efforts he wanted to make sure Clarke would be able to prosper and elevate herself from her lowly financial status. Great movie and great chemistry from the main characters.
For a man... this movie was amazing. Just the way Clarke manages to help someone that was always angry. And give him some peace before his departure and how he manages to help her open up and explore more.. Such a great love story.

I feel like I could relate to Clark if this ever happened to me. There was a scene in this movie that just broke me. They were on the beach and he was telling her that he was going to go through with it. She cared so much for him that she had wished she had never met him to begin with. She didn’t mean that she hated him but the pain was so bad that in her mind it was better that she didn’t know him than to have been heartbroken by losing him. This movie is way too real and heartbreaking.

As someone who read the book before and that broke me beyond repair. The movie I was sceptical at first because I wasn’t to sure how well they would capture the raw and beautiful story. But man they did an amazing job. I felt it even more while watching the movie even though I knew how it would end. This was one of my first books that really touched me and it will always be top tier.
Until just before the climax, i was expecting something miraculous to happen.. But it didn't happen😔The ending broke my heart💔 i cried a lot😢😭..
