It's understandable if they can't be trusted anymore, you'll just have to put on faith that they did, even when theres a possibility that theyll do it again. But then again, the punishment must play a role too. You cant just throw him in jail for many years and expect him to be renewed as a person. The current system lacks the 'lesson' that they need to 'purify' the criminal. Sorry, i dont know much terms so bear with me lol. Cancel culture is so stupid thinking that they're doing the right thing to destroy someone's life completely without regarding whether or not the person has changed. I'd like to say these people are just hypocrites who keep bringing up old stories of people but gets pissed if someone mentions their bad past. He is also a great thinker of Memento mori and pretty much finds the beauty and happiness in the nature of Death. I could tell that he has an optimistic nihilistic view in life as he said that "the world is not fair". Having these kinds of knowledge will truly change your perspective in life and Felix perfected it.
He's definitely that kind of person that would ask you to be happy in his funeral and not be sad. Be happy because I've lived long enough to meet you, for you to meet me. My existence never mattered as I am deemed to last as a memory.

"The public should hold celebrities accountable when the justice system fails" - This is a stupid statement. Like who decides when the justice system fails? I get there are some sick people who get away with murder, and everyone knows it. I get it when the prosecution screw up in some way. So even if you apologies once and grew from a mistake, someone can still try to bring it up again just to cancel you another time. true, but most of the time the apologies are not sincere. And just writing a few sorry words in a doc file isnt gonna prove anything. What I think people should do is to give them time to prove themselves they-ve grown and are truly sorry. Just saying sorry so people would shut up about it and to play the ”ive already apologized for that why u still brining it up card” card isnt going to do anything.

    13:18 - 14:01 I totally agree with pewds here
as someone who has been through sexual assault and abuse, I don't care if the person who did it to me becomes successful, nor do I care if other people decide to support them, I'm friends with some of his friends(and they know about what happened). It is their freedom of choice to support them, while that person may have treated me extremely poorly to the point that I don't think I could ever associate myself with them again, there are other people who like them, and there are probably people who have been supported through difficult times by them, I don't want to take away the support they get from them just because they treated me badly.
while people don't realise it, people who have hurt people can also be the support system for others.
does that mean what they did to me was okay? no it was bad, but that doesn't mean they should be stopped from doing anything at all.
what I think should happen is that the person should be taught that what they did was bad and why it was bad and taught to not do it again and to do good things. Cancel culture stops people from doing anything at all, good or bad, which is why I don't support it. I don't want the person who hurt me to be harmed, I want them to become a better person.

On behalf of humans, I apologies.
We have made a severe and continuous lapse of judgement. We do not expect to be forgiven for this.

I actually real like when he rambles on and just speaks his mind. It’s like he tryna have a genuine conversation with his audience. It’s a shame he has to some what filter himself because of how sensitive and hostile the community is.

I love when he speaks at length. Maybe a solution could be that he start another channel for people who want to hear a more mature conversation.

@@stacin821 Dude's intelligent and has his morals in the right place. Cancel culture is basically overstepping a great advance in civilization, justice systems. They may suck at many things but at least we have qualified people who studied law which was based on great thinkers. It's being replaced by mob justice. We're receding in civilization.
That just opens way for slander, sophists having power, condemnation based on little to no evidence, it's hideous.

PewDiePie's community is also very hostile and hypocritical. Remember the last if us 2 gameplay. People were ready to take up arms against people who liked the game. So its amusing to see them opposing cancel culture now since they did the exact same thing to last of us 2. They tried to 'cancel' naughty dog games and the creator because of stupid reasons like their hero was killed by a female and it has homosexual characters. PewDiePie and his community is a big exponent of cancel culture. They just don't realise it yet
