Dangerous ? How ? Just remember to remove your hand from the cutter mechanism before closing the door. The door must be fully closed before the pressurized air can do the work.

How is this dangerous? I have millions of dollars of equipment in my plant that had full proof safety systems that required BOTH hands to out of way to push two buttons at same time. Even with that a second UNAUTHORIZED person managed to get his finger in the machine and lost it. This device safety feature is the cover that has to be closed before it will activate, which requires at least one hand. I simply do not see how this is more dangerous than a guy with a knife. If you are super safety conscious you could design a second switch that was required to be pushed by left hand at same time right hand closed the lid. That is not necessary and requires additional costs and maintenance but would work. This is a cool device.
