I really enjoyed this video and it honestly helped me to be more prepared before going out to eat. I love that you showed different examples of eating out, especially Valentines Day. It’s such a luxury having this type of quality content here on UA-cam.
Tracy , thanks for these good tips keeping us on track. I don't drink alcohol. When dining out I either have water with lemon or un sweet tea. Sometimes my husband and I will split an entree. Portion sizes are always too much. So we either split it or I will take half of it home for later.
Tracy, I would love to eat fish out but... I am afraid that it is farmed fish so I don't order it. Since I prefer not to eat meat, it really cuts down on what I can order. I would love it if you could speak on tips for getting through the day when you are on a diet ...especially if you are trying to do some form of fasting.....thanks!
The scallops looked delicious. I usually skip desert unless they do something that’s absolutely amazing. Salmon is usually my go to as well. Love it how you bring your own salad dressing. Will make that today. So many great ideas here. Thanks, Tracy.

My husband stopped eating starches to help keep his blood sugar levels under control. He has never had a restaurant have a problem with serving double veggies if the meal normally includes a starch and a vegetable.
Years ago I volunteered at Meals on Wheels one Saturday, and Macaroni Grille had donated desserts. I was so shocked to be portioning out servings from a pan of pre-made, frozen tiramisu! Since then, when I am dining at any chain restaurant, I keep in mind that no matter how good the pictures on the menu look, it's probably not freshly made on site, and therefore not worth the calories or money.

Thank you Gina! I believe all of these questions have been answered in a variety of videos on my channel. The short version: Yes, I have a system for everything. Meal prepping varies according to my daily work schedule. My family generally eats something different than me, but it depends on what it is. My husband will eat ANYTHING (healthy or unhealthy). My eating regime currently is a lot of work. That is what I got away from it for so long. It's a lot to keep up with. I am doing my best and taking it one day at a time. I'll try to get more out soon in a video and/or in Stories.

I'm so excited to have purchased the SweetLeaf Sweet Drops from Amazon, today (thanks to you), but in the flavor Chocolate Raspberry.......sounds really good and it got excellent reviews. I, too, try to eat clean when going out to eat, but my downfall is Mexican. I order water, most of the time, for my beverage. I have a PUR water filtration system on my faucet, at my home, which I love so much. Water and coffee is mostly all that I drink, although I do have to have a cup of diet coke, some mornings. I also have added a Essential Amino Energy Powder, from Amazon, to my workout routine for an extra boost of energy. I am your age. I'm losing weight. I don't necessarily eat clean. I am vegetarian, so it's usually difficult for me to have a lean protein with my meal. Luckily I only eat out once or occasionally twice a week. For the New Year I stopped eating sugar and drinking alcohol. I drink flavored sparkling water. I watch calories religiously. I've lost 56 pounds so far.
I ate out on Friday and I failed to conduct myself appropriately, I paid a physical price. I ordered a salad and minestrone soup but when asked about cheese said yes. That "yes" cost me. I went into a coughing FIT, which wasn't cool considering the whole Coronavirus plight.
Do you eat lobster, shrimp or swordfish? Also after dining out and eating your salmon, does it keep you full for the rest of the night? I find that when I eat like that I get hungry again soon after.
I eat shrimp and actually one of the meals that I shared, had shrimp and scallops. I'm not a fan of lobster. But I do like swordfish. If I eat out, it covers me fro the rest of the day. Restaurant portions are the equivalent o about 3 meals.
Quinoa is a starch carb. If weight loss is your goal, go easy. If you are on an aggressive exercise routine, it's great post workout. Yes, I love quinoa. As you know I share it all the time on Instagram Stories and in my 'What I Eat In A Day ' Videos.
