Hi Suzie, Can I fill a gel nail with acrylic or vice versa?
Hi Suzie, I’m not a nail tech, but I was wondering if you could use hybrid gel over acrylic? Thank you!
@@icysparks7 you can use hybrid poly gel over acrylic, just make sure when you're done with the acrylic you cure it first before applying the hybrid gel.
That is such a fitting code XD
I have a question. Can you do sculpted nails on someone's nails that grow upward? Not slightly, but a very pronounced upward slope. The request was to make it appear that their nails grow more downward. As you know, there is a huge gap with nail forms with upward growing nails. I asked other nail techs and some said hawk tips, others said they wouldn't do it. But client insisted on sculpted. I am a newbie and would appreciate any tips you can give.

Soooo much fun!!!! Suzie you and @simplynailogical should have a polish making contest!!!! Make them- don’t tell us who made which one and have the viewers vote!!!
Uuhhhh Show down of the year😄😄
All of Cristine's would be holo!
that would be awesome!!
Yes!!
Cristine (no, Google, it IS spelled correctly) is anti this method if I remember rightly, but I think she screwed it up (and can you tell it's been a while since I watched that video). If I remember she used normal eye shadow and not a pigment style one and didn't mix it correctly (no shame, we all screw up sometimes, you should see how many times I had to pull apart a crochet mouse I've literally crocheted a dozen times before...I can't decide if last night was just off or stress from today's apartment inspection, but I ended up throwing it across the room).
Can’t wait till Cristine the Science Queen gets her hands on these
David Ezzell right! that’s the first thing I thought too lol 💿
Never heard of her, now I gotta check her out :D

I'd love to see what the pink looks like over black. It looked amazing in the black bottle.
you're not the only one
I saw Suzie sitting there in her little apron, mixing glitters with that magical sparkle in her eye, and then it hit me! Suzie is...
_the Fairy Nail Mother!_
LOVE it, it's too awesome!! The Fairy Nail Mother

I like that the bottles are opaque so you could even customise a gel polish

I did th same thing lol. I finished You will love it too!
Congrats on nail school.. it’s so fun,

Hi Suzie, I am so happy to see you supporting a woman entrepreneur! I saw this product on IG and thought it was the most
clever thing ever. I'm not a nail professional, but, I do a lot of nail art. I love the idea of being able to mix my own custom
polishes. I will definitely be ordering this product. Thanks Nettie for inventing such a cool product and thanks Suzie for
sharing.
Nail Art by Anita M. 🙋🏾♀️
So much fun! I do this all the time and I've found that using a couple of drops of regular, colored nail polish for a deeper base color in with mostly clear adds some opacity to the base without obscuring the glitters!
Use a suspension base to mix glitter. It will keep it floating and not sink to the bottom. Love the glitter mixes the pink is like a fairy tail.❤️
Thank you for the information I had no idea you could do that!!! 🤯😁💕
What is a suspension base?
purplesage it is a polish base to keep glitters suspense . I get mine on line look up suspension base nail polish. I make nail polish for personal use. Hope this helps. Suz is playing she made beautiful mixtures. They will sink over time in regular base. Suspension base will keep it a float like in stores. I use lush it is buttery smooth. Good luck, hope this helps.😊
Also this tip is a secret to polish makers, you can google how to make nail polish on UA-cam they also have many videos. Makers of polish don’t share these things. I don’t sell my polish in retail. What I have learned is from UA-cam videos.
Edith Elbourn thank you so much for that information! It gives the final key!
The glitter dispersing on the surface of the base was EVERYTHING
I love how excited you were. I think the Pottle is an awesome idea. I hope we'll be able to get them in the UK at some point.

Same! It made me wanna have a girls night sleepover and make glitter nail polishes together in our PJs and paint each other's nails in our creations 😄
You really can't go wrong with glitter! I've found when layering on top of a similar solid color, or even black polish, it really makes the glitter POP! 😊💅
Your excitement making those glitter polishes was a joy to watch.💖💖💖
Her voice is oddly very soothing and relaxing... Who agrees?!😊
Love the apron! The Pottle is amazing! I'd love to see a fall glitter mix!
Great glitter colors you created.
I’ve seen that the brushes can be popped out for cleaning or replacing too. Which would be great for builder gels.
The pink makes me think of cotton candy unicorns.
WOW... I'm binge watching Suzie ATM.... Thanks to Suzie she's reignited my love for nail tech and I'm beginning to realize how much I enjoyed it. I'll definitely be doing a lot more now. Thanks Suzie xox
Anything you do is awesome you make things look so simple xxx
Omg yes! Please make more nail polish concoctions!!! Make a whole line of polishes if your beautiful heart desires, that peacock polish is gorgeous!! ❤️ and the Cinderella mix is so dreamy and yummy! Please make more when you get the chance, I love it! 💕💕💕
Suzie you have inspired me! I have officially caught the nail bug from watching your videos and I now plan to go to school and get licensed to create beautiful nails professionally 🥰
Omg that pink one is a perfect bridal look! Beautiful!!
I gasped every time you added a glitter into the bottle. So pretty!! 😩
These mixes are gorgeous, but the pink one is definitely my favorite 😍😍😍.
Sponge that color on and the glitter will be way more full coverage
That kinda defeats the purpose of the video.
@@MargieM10 no you paint it on a makeup sponge. She could still use the pottle. It's a simplynailogical trick for maximizing glitter coverage
@@xattixnot being rude or anything but it's not a simplynaillogical trick. It's been a nail trick before she was even "youtube famous" just saying. But it is an amazing trick to do with any glitter polish
Thanks, I didnt know that!
Jenny but she did make the trick more well known to people not in the nail community
Suzie, I love your enthusiasm for new products and being creative, it keeps me inspired.
I saw an advertisement for the pottle awhile back on Instagram and didn't give it and thought.... Gonna have to look into this one. Game changer.
Suzie getting excited over the glitter is SOOOO CUTE
You are like a kid in a candy store....I love it...thank you for all your tutorials
That pink though, oh my gosh it’s so pretty on the pink of her nails.
It's so great to see someone do what they love with so much passion. Sending you loads of love and great regards 💖
that was satisfying to watch you push all the pink glitter into the polish and watch it all stick together at first
Your excitement and giggles made me so happy! What a fun time. Glitter is SO MAGICAL 🥰
It's so luxurious.. I'm in love. It would be a lot easier and would transfer way more glitter though if it was applied with a plain white makeup sponge. It will suck up all of the clear polish and just transfer only the glitter. It also dries 10 times faster
I can't keep long nails and it's difficult for me to even have base polish- but your nails make me happy to see, and even happier to see you spread your knowledge to others!
Why can't you keep long nails? Do they break easily? Or is it because of your job that makes it hard to keep long nails? 🤔 Let me know, I might be able to help you out 🤗
I haven't painted my nails in years and probably won't ever do it again but I like the artistry of it all :)
@@PN-sk3ve they're brittle and grow into my flesh. It's painful but removing the whole nail didn't fix it either- so I'm stuck with short ones for good.
@@frantastic1172 Oh, I understand. 😥
Lol, I laughed so hard at 14:42 when you couldn't decide which glitter to use. That's totally me! 🤣🤣 I love finding pretty craft glitters for my nails!
I wish the Pottle came in clear glass, it'd be an awesome way to show off your creations!!
for reference of anyone who wants to try this; the glitters from the craft store are NOT solvent resistant, and those clear polishes from the drugstore are NOT made with suspension bases to be able to hold glitters. meaning the glitters will melt & discolor in the clear polish, and sink to the bottom. so you could mix it and apply it to the nails immediately but it definitely would not work to keep and store in the pottle unless it was a clear gel polish or the proper products! 😩
Now I want all the glitters! Thanks for such a fun video and your support of an indie business.
Beautiful mixes Suzie. I’d love to see you use those “normal” glitters to mix in with builder gel and also acrylic. I’d be curious to see how long they last and how easy they’re too remove. In comparison to the cosmetic grade glitters.
Thanks Suze for such wonderful time ..I enjoyed playing with glitters so much 🤩🤩🤩
@NailCareerEducation Suzie this was so much fun! Thank you so much for sharing this cool Invention , & disc. Offer !! That pink glitter is Gorgeous! 🤤😍💅♥️ I am always mixing my Gels to get the perfect unique color & glitter mix , so I can't wait to get my hands on some of these ! I had so much fun watching you mix , you were like a mad scientist , lol a pretty one 🤩♥️ Thank you
I never thought of using old bright eye shadows this way...brilliant! I can’t wait to play!
We all love glitters✨
I also have the exact same reactions when I get to play with glitters.😆❤️❤️
They are both gorgeous and the pink is like a pinkish purple. Very beautiful!!
I love mixing nail glitterd to make my own nail polishes, I found out the hard way that I needed to buy suspension base for it though😂 I love your colors you made and I love all your videos 🤗
suzie getting all excited about the different glitters is the best thing ever
I feel like Suzie’s making magical potions 🥰
she iiiiiis!!!
Since it’s a clear coat of glitter I would use a white as a base to make it pop. I love the idea of making your own glitter polish. 😍
Oh Suzie, you are adorable. I love your enthusiasm❣️
That soft irredentist pink is gorgeous. This looked like so much fun!!
this is absolutely my favorite video, the best by far the excitement and giggles when mixing colors is priceless very contiguous!made me smile thank you ❤keep doing what you do.
That pink is so pretty
I wonder how well this would work with gel. Finding a good glitter gel polish is hard. So I would love to see this with a gel polish.
The Nail Hub has a video with the Pottle and gel
Dank it, I´ve been thinking about something veeeery similar lol, just started looking into where to buy and costs and stuff, but, this amazing woman come out with it first....maybe I should releas a arts and craft version? lol
She was really clever on the crystal wand!
I really want her Mix 'n' Store and her Crystal wands, right out brilliant! (to more things than just nail industry, awesome product for art and craft too)
I love that blue i could watch the clip of you mixing all the blues together over and over and over again
Thank you, Suzie! What a great gift to give.

Both colors are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this suzie. Now I can have some fun. And that apron, mrs. Suzie, I will be getting lol I love it
Dab dab dab, to make it all fab :D try to apply it with a sponge. The y came out beautiful!
Omg, Suzie girl...love glitter ❤️ Love them both but if I had to choose one it would be your Cinderella mix...that pink is gorgeous. Those little pottles are genius!
I got your NUKE IT apron...love it!❤️
I legit use your videos to fall asleep solely because your voice is so soothing!
Please make more videos of making more costum nail polish!
I had no idea that mixing up your own polish was a thing! This makes me so excited to customize some colors for myself, instead of trying to find exactly what I want out of someone else’s brand.
I just ordered from her because of your video! Thank you for the suggestion and the discount! 💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼
Did the discount code work for you?
purplesage it did!
LOVE THEM BOTH!!
Pink is my favorite color but the blue is more flashy!!
YES! I had wanted to suggest the Pottle to you! I’m so glad you’re doing this. Nettie is brilliant!
Jessica 🙋🏾♀️
This ‘Pottle’ has changed the nail game! Wow 🤩
hi suzie.. love your videos.. to be honest when yoh were mixing the pink, i didnt like it (prior to when you put the brush in), i thought it was too purple.. however, the reveal shots of both colors are georgous ❤️
Several months ago I bought my daughter a ton of glitters and pigments for slime and for me for other craft projects.. But I made sure it was cosmetic grade in case I wanted to steal some for nails. I even got some glow in the dark pigments. Guess I'll be creating some polishes.
These are awesome . the glitter polish are so pretty
I love how much fun you have in this video! It's lovely to watch 😆
OMG JENNA MARBLES AND SIMPLYNAILOGICAL NEED TO TRY THIS!!!😍😍
Kirsten Barbee I think so too
I think the kit would be awesome with the addition of a little glitter scoop tool maybe
you should put the colour back in the sally hansen bottle that way you can use the pottle again
But isn't that the whole concept of zhe pottle? Because if shes gonna put it in another bottle anyway, she could have just used a normal pot.
@@fynnanzminister it can be or she can reuse the pottle and mix others or suzie can see if gel polishes would work in the pottle
It’s easier to mix everything, but she’s got the empty bottle there and you know she’s itching to mix up new stuff...pour it into the clear bottle, clean the pottle and start making new color combos!
I can watch her do nails all day!!
Suzie lol I love your videos... Your excitement in this one literally made my day!! Just before heading to work, too
so cool....love creating custom glitter polishes
This was so much fun ...🤗 I have seen another video (The Nail Hubb, I think that's name) where she introduced this product. Thank you for sharing 😉👍
It isn't much, but knowing that you went to pride really moved me, thank you ❤
Thanks Suzie for the good heart and share good things with us may God bless you my dia
that pink is absolutely stunning!! wish it could be bottled and sold, i would buy a dozen!
Hi Suzie. New Cosmetology student here!
Do you recommend doing multiple coats of glitter polish or using a sponging technique and a top coat. ( Put the glitter polish on a makeup wedge and dab it onto the nail for a more opaque look.)
Btw I love your channel 😍 it's one of the reasons why I have so many funky nail ideas for my growing clientele!
Josephine Lubbers obviously I’m not Suzie, but I think it’s up to you and your client and what effect you’re going for. If you just want a touch of it, brush it on, or dab it with the brush...if you want that opaque solid look, dab dab dab.
I've stopped painting my nails full glitter. It has only been 2 weeks. And this video 😍😍😍
Oh Suzie you’re such a fabulous gal, I just love your videos xx
The pink is gorgeous, but I am just crazy about the peacock blue/teal you made!! Thanks for sharing and thanks to the lady who made the Pottle!
Would this technique work with gel polishes? Like mixing glitter into a clear gel top coat?
Yes and even builder gels!
I do it lots and works very well!
Your excitement with glitter is the same as mine with teaching supplies! Whatever the heart loves!
As usual... I LOVE IT!! the only thing that could make the "pottle" better is if the pot was clear so that you can mix and after using save what's left for later use! It's an absolutely awesome creation for those of us who love to mix and experiment! GREAT FIND! 💖💅💖
