Also, in case Cameraman reads comments, I wanted to say that the editing was really sharp and really nicely done. I like the effects done when speeding up the footage and I enjoyed the "coming up" notifications.
I love how your husband is so appreciative of your work , it's lovely how he's not just your husband and cameraman but your supporter in your world of nails . I love love love this set , x

hi Suzie, I'm a husband that does my wife's nails and now also some of her friend's nails. i learned through trail and error and most grateful coming across your videos, its so informative and helpful.
I am a dude, and I have very little to do with nails (but I’m not a neanderthal, I mean I’ve had a manicure, and would do again for a wedding, or an event where I had to look my best) - and I have no idea how I got here, but I have been watching video after video because you’re so calming and chill, and its just fun to watch. Tell “Cameraman” his EXCELLENT work is to making UA-cam videos what you are to doing nails. His confidence should be way up there. Great music choice, I like the titles that he uses, and his time lapse / procedural editing was on point, and I’m really impressed by both of you.
Men are allowed to like art too. The person I get my nails done by is a straight man. He doesn't wear nails but he's very talented and loves his career and art he creates. Some of the best makeup artists to the celebrities are men. You can appreciate all forms of art no matter your gender.
I love how talkative camera man was in this episode. The vibe between you too makes the video that much more enjoyable to watch. Also loved getting that little glimpse about your wedding! It's nice to see/hear some more personable topics in unison with the nails/tutorials :-)
Am I the only one that enjoys these side convos between Suzie and The Cameraman? Lol idk why I just like their conversations, it makes me feel more engaged if that makes sense 🤔
I've been watching your vids for a year and this is the first one I realized Cameraman was your husband! Lol I've always enjoyed the banter between you two but I love it even more knowing he's your husband and so supportive of your art. What a great duo!
I have hypnophobia and nightmare disorder. Whenever i wake up from a bad night i watch your videos to calm down and relax. Thank you for being so positive and poised 💖 love you
Whoa! This is so weird - I have both complex ptsd *and* nightmare disorder...I just woke up from a particularly disturbing one and for some reason this video was on my recommended list. I don't watch nail videos, like, ever. But I clicked it and voila...I can feel the old HPA axis effects calming down. I guess I'll join the "Suzie is My Therapist" club!
I almost started crying when you talked about confidence. I've been doing my own nails for a few years now. I'm happy with how my own turn out. I only work with gel, as I just can't seem to make acrylic do what I want. Also, the smell bothers my husband, so I just don't use acrylic. My sister and friends at work started noticing my nails.....even male coworkers! First one girl asked me to do her nails, then my sister, now 5 other girls are coming to my house for what they all call "nail therapy." Sometimes they know what they want done, other times they say "just do me." I was afraid they wouldn't like my work but now my weekends are always booked up. Somebody needs their nails done, and I'm the one who is now lacking in a nail job. HAHAHAHAHA! My friends get raves about their nails, and 2 have even made the leap to gel nails. All these ladies are my practice hands, as I plan to do nails at home in retirement in a few years as a small income venture. Thank you so much for all you do on here. You have boosted MY self-confidence and let me know I really can make nails beautiful!
I'm a tomboy type girl and the only time I ever had my nails professionally done was in Middle School (12+ yrs ago). Watching your videos makes me want my nails done again
Came for the artistry, stayed for the loving conversations between you and your husband, and then blown away again by the artistry! Absolutely stunning work
I’m a guy and i don’t even do my nails but this was an interesting video and the editing was really nice. Your voice is also very comforting and soothing. Well done 👍
The interplay between you and Cameraman is just so cute! Just love watching and listening to the two of you go back and forth. Cracked me up when he went back to add the “Cure for 30 Seconds” caption after clearly trying to get out of it by saying it instead! These nails are so amazing. I can’t even imagine where you found those gears to use as nail art. And the alcohol polish is such a great look! I am constantly amazed by your creativity. I always wonder, “How does she come up with these ideas”? But you do, and you are such a master of what you do! Please keep the ideas coming!
The beads almost look like the bearings that fell out of the gears and cogs. I'm so giddy right now, you rarely see anyone do Steampunk. And these are absolutely breathtaking. OUCH!!!!! I hope your finger heals quickly. I burned the top of my hand last week on my waffle iron making my kids waffles. It hurt so bad it blistered instantly. I don't know what made me think of it, but I grabbed the sunburn aloe gel with Lidocaine we have, put a tad on my hand and bandaged it. It took the burn and stink out. I did that for 2 days and its almost healed, it looks great.
Rande Thorman ,....ladies,...you need to keep lavender essential oil on hand. The first time you use it on a burn will make you a believer. I blistered from my hot glue gun and put the oil on and literally, right before my eyes, watched the blister go right down. It healed so amazing. You’ll never be without lavender essential oil again. And I strongly suggest Young Living brand because of their pureness.
Jenn Tessier TY for the advice, appreciate it. But I'm allergic to lavender. I cant even touch a lavender plant without breaking out in hives, wouldn't want to imagine what would happen if the oils were on my skin.
Aloe Vera neat, straight from the plant is probably the best way to go. It bonds the skin together, cools and rehydrate as well as being an antiseptic.
Shevaun Handley Unfortunately the heavy flooding rains we had over the summer killed both my aloe plants in pots. They're in pots to bring in the house over the winter
Oh my goodness, yes, please! That would be so gorgeous plus I've never seen it. I really like the not so girly designs. It doesn't have to be pink or blue or purple to be beautiful. These are perfect for fall.
I’m imagining a beautiful old pocket watch, just bursting open and all those glittering parts falling all over your nails. So pretty! I wish you would do a Titanic inspired one, that would be a dream come true for me!
If you are good at painting your nails you could give hard gel a try. I am far from professional but I can make my nails look pretty good at home. Glue on some tips, a couple thin layers of hard gel, a layer of decorative stuff, and then another thin layer or 2 of gel and you got yourself a good looking nail. I literally brush it on just like polish because that's all I'm good at and they will last a couple weeks. I'm on a budget so if I want something next level I have to do it myself.
"it was on our special day" 😂😂😂 MY HEART EXPLODED!!! 💖✨ I always thought you two were a beautiful couple, and now my suspicion has been confirmed!! Thanks for tossing that in Suzi!!! I love you guys!!!! 💜😁
I literally screamed when I saw steampunk nails. I love everything that has to do with steampunk and the designs were gorgeous! You never disappoint Suzie! I’m obsessed 💚💜♥️❤️💙💛
OMG Suzie! Just when I think you cannot possibly create a more beautiful design, you go and blow me away! Such a pretty design 👏🏼 also loving the hair!!!! You go girl!
I love ❤️ how the nails have that almost tortoise shell look...which was a common matrrial used back in the edwardian era to make hair combs, jewelry, buttons ect. I love how those alcohol inks gave it that look. I actual have a lot of those alcohol inks and I've never thought to use em this way. Beautiful job from you and your camera man.
This effect kind of looks like tortoise shell. Your really a great nail artist , very beautiful. And kudos to the camera man. Great close up's which enables us to learn a lot easier. Bonus video's guy's ! Cheer's !
I was thinking the same thing - that the alcohol ink would make a great base for tortoise shell, without having to be a pro - that looks a lot easier to do than gel.
Camera man... how soft, supportive and exciting he is about nails, and Suzie's work! Its lovely to watch and hear this video. Nails are beyond awesome... I love it! Makes me think about amber!
When Suzie added the topcoat, I immediately thought “tortoiseshell”. That brown alcohol ink with its pooling and staining reminds me of a glasses frame made from polished tortoiseshell. That gives the design a retro, sophisticated vibe. Plus, no tortoises were harmed!
@@whiteedk Edward reigned from 1901 (Victoria's death)-1910. Steampunk is widely accepted as an alternate 19th century, cementing it in the Victorian era 🙂
muscari whites, yea steampunk is based on the Victorian period, the cog aesthetic comes from the industrial revolution, which happened during the rain of queen Victoria
I can barely paint my own nails much less do anything like this, but I love watching your videos for your artistry! Your design concepts are brilliant and the execution is flawless!
OMG.. I love steam punk nails.. This design Suzie has to be one of your best nail designs ever... Ive already ordered some of the dyes. I have some watch bits already.. I must copy your design.. x
I have never seen such gorgeous designs ever . This needs an AWARD 🥇. You are magical and thank you for all your teaching, fun and service. Love from South Africa
Am just a nail technician and really want to be a professional at this job am still feeling local with my finishing and with my designs. I hope suzies tutorials helps me out.
Y'all are AWESOME! I think Suzie is sooo brave wearing the white working with those inks, I'd made such a mess lol I love how Camera Man keeps talking you get a sense of what a great team and couple they are!!
the lil 'coming up' graphic was so nice your videos have always been great and yet you improve with any video - it's really inspirational i love you, youre designs and the editing style
This is the most relaxing thing ever I really need a camera man in my life. He doesn't even need to film me, just tell me my nails look good and remember stuff from the wedding lol Your nails look amazing, and the editing is soo good. The music is very modern, and it's such a cool contrast with the relaxing soft spoken tutorial. Absolutely in love with this video
I think as much as I am shook by these nails I'm more envious of how adorable you and camera man aka husband interact. I had assumed he was your spouse but you never can tell. Just one more thing you're the most amazing nail teacher and im super new to diy nails so I thank you.
Steampunk was about the Victorian era, based on Jules Vern 20,000 leagues under the sea. It’s a past present and future concept. It started in the 1970’s.
And when ever I have a bad day I watch your vids and it helps me clam down and relax and when I watch your vids it make me think that I can be what ever I want
I'm a new sub but I KNEW you and cameraman were married! You're so adorable I can't handle it. I'm not even a nail technician and am terrible in general at nail care but your videos are so soothing and helps me fall asleep oddly enough :p. Thanks for such well produced great content!
Using the love to describe how I feel about these nails doesn't do it justice!! They are PERFECTION. Here in Montana we don't have techs who can often do things like this, women have literally traveled to get them done!
I Love LOVE, that she works with her hubby. You can tell as he watches her work;he acts as a voice of reason at times. I love when he told her she was over loading and taking away a little of the translucent feel that was gorgeous. I mean the set was beautiful either way but as artist it can be hard at times to pull back our creativity. I love that he has such a respect and interest in her work that he can help keep her on track when she gets creativity overload. PS love this channel!
I just wanted to add that it’s a good idea to put in the graphics for when you’re doing something because there would be people who are hearing impaired watching your videos and it really helps them! 🙂
So many things you could do with those inks! I’m really inspired, you could do coffee inspired nails or use the dotting motion and make some cheetah/leopard print nails!! Great job once again 💙
I don’t usually like inlays or jewels on nails, BUT I must say these are the prettiest nails I’ve ever seen. They remind me of Egyptian art. The colors are gorgeous and the way you applied the designs and glitter are truly artistic. I have a cosmetology license and sure wish I could be one of your students! You are truly talented. Thank you for all of your videos. -A New Fan 💕
Oh you and camera man are just adorable & entertaining :) and this design is awesome - it just screams "fall" to me 😻 Ps i really appreciate the inserts on screen - thank you camera man 😊
I used to think it would nearly impossible to function with long nails like that too. But one day I decided to try it and got long stilleto nails (i usually have short, natural looking acrylic). After the first 24 hours of adjusting to them, it was surprisingly easier than I thought. Even at my work (veterinary tech.) I was able to do everything. You should give it a try some time. You might just like it, or you can always have them filed down shorter!
I’m a guy and a nail biter so I almost done SUPED short nails. I went from short to nails longer than suzzie’s in this video and I’m doing just fine lol. You get super used to it
I totally agree, I think you were right to keep with the gold colour story for this set, but the burgundy was so stunning with the rusty tortoise shell colours, I’d love to see you try that colour scheme sometime!
This is a stunning set!!! I think I’ll do something steam punk on myself. Love the alcohol inks as well. Great video Suzie. I saw your wedding photo on IG, very nice. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻🖤🖤🖤
I loved this video so much. I loved the conversation between you and mister cameraman lol. And the confidence boost. One of the reasons I started doing my nails was because of you. Cameraman did an amazing job filming this!
Also, in case Cameraman reads comments, I wanted to say that the editing was really sharp and really nicely done. I like the effects done when speeding up the footage and I enjoyed the "coming up" notifications.
I agree. These videos are always excellently produced.

Yes me too. They are so cute and I loved how much attention he pays to her work
Where does she said that? I had to skip the video a few times because i didn’t have much time to watch it.
They says at around 20 minutes into the video. She pulls out an umbrella
I knew it. :) I need to find myself a hubby that would love nails as much as me

These colours could also make a great tortoiseshell look
Or something colorful like a tie dye inspired look.

AllyTheWerid O waves, curls, same thing calm down
MITCHELL WIGGS true
I love hearing you and hubby/camera man talking back and forth you can tell he appreciates your art
I believe steampunk is like futuristic Victorian.
Yes, it's is most often set in the Victorian Period.
Yes edwardian is around 1910 and some years up right?
@@whiteedk Edward reigned from 1901 (Victoria's death)-1910. Steampunk is widely accepted as an alternate 19th century, cementing it in the Victorian era 🙂
Amarianee steampunk in the reign of Victoria and Albert , right?
muscari whites, yea steampunk is based on the Victorian period, the cog aesthetic comes from the industrial revolution, which happened during the rain of queen Victoria
I must copy your design.. x
I wanted to get me some watch bits but I have to have a certificate to order them 😓
Cameraman "This could be a short video."
Suzie whispers "...No."
Ahahaha
I have never seen such gorgeous designs ever . This needs an AWARD 🥇.
You are magical and thank you for all your teaching, fun and service.
Love from South Africa
It’s one of my FAVS as well
I love cameraman and how supportive he is
Suzie!! Take time for yourself girl! Have a day off, rest that burn, drink a margarita! Safety first, family! Much love xo
I literally find your longest videos and fall asleep to them 😆 💕
Me too! Her voice is so soothing and it's not loud at all so I fall asleep through them
Just love these nails, remindes me of those beautiful old watches my grandpa had from his grandpa 😍
the lil 'coming up' graphic was so nice
your videos have always been great and yet you improve with any video - it's really inspirational
i love you, youre designs and the editing style
This is the most relaxing thing ever
I really need a camera man in my life. He doesn't even need to film me, just tell me my nails look good and remember stuff from the wedding lol
Your nails look amazing, and the editing is soo good. The music is very modern, and it's such a cool contrast with the relaxing soft spoken tutorial.
Absolutely in love with this video
HILARIOUS
That hand .... WAS the BEST SteamPunk design that i have seen ... awesome Job.
I am becoming a nail technician bc of you, it allows me to express myself , thank you for being such an inspiration!!! Love you And your work . ❤
Awwwwe FABULOUS! Ive got lots of educational videos coming just for you! Thank YOU for being such an inspiration
My daughter and I are too!
The Bob Ross of nails
I think as much as I am shook by these nails I'm more envious of how adorable you and camera man aka husband interact. I had assumed he was your spouse but you never can tell. Just one more thing you're the most amazing nail teacher and im super new to diy nails so I thank you.
Steampunk was about the Victorian era, based on Jules Vern 20,000 leagues under the sea. It’s a past present and future concept. It started in the 1970’s.
Cheri Turner The majority of Steampunk is Victorian, but there is some spill over into Edwardian as well as Wild West.
I was wondering thank you that's cool.
I thought it was late Victorian, like 1870s?
THANK YOU !!!! Hearing "Edwardian" was driving me nuts and was wondering if anyone was going to catch it.
And when ever I have a bad day I watch your vids and it helps me clam down and relax and when I watch your vids it make me think that I can be what ever I want
These are so absolutely gorgeous, Suzie. Don't you just love encapsulating in gel.
I'm a new sub but I KNEW you and cameraman were married! You're so adorable I can't handle it. I'm not even a nail technician and am terrible in general at nail care but your videos are so soothing and helps me fall asleep oddly enough :p. Thanks for such well produced great content!
Your ‘always learning’ attitude (paired with great talent and skill) is so lovely, I want to be that type of person
Using the love to describe how I feel about these nails doesn't do it justice!! They are PERFECTION. Here in Montana we don't have techs who can often do things like this, women have literally traveled to get them done!
I adore steampunk, punk and goth! Thank you Suzie.
The alcohol ink color is the perfect intro to fall color. I love the sparkle of the gears
I love this! The ink really gives a really stunning tortoise shell look.
I have watched and rewatched and even recreated these. They are still my favourite set ever!
You should get your cameraman/husband to do your nails! That would be so cool!
Yes!!!!
@@purpl3lina she look stunning
It is her husband
I actually think he would be good at it watching her do it for that long, but yeah, I would love it too 😁
So many things you could do with those inks! I’m really inspired, you could do coffee inspired nails or use the dotting motion and make some cheetah/leopard print nails!! Great job once again 💙
I hear ya! Im so motivated to try every colour combinations - im thinking PINKS
Leopard print! What an awesome idea!
Margaret Skupa Thank you 💙
Nail Career Education yes! That would be great!!
This is one of my favorite videos. Not only is the nail design epic but your conversation with cameraman’s was really wonderful
I love how much you two are interacting this time! This "episode" is by far the cutest ever.
I am not a nail tech, but simply get so much enjoyment watching Suzies' creations. An artistè. Beats tele
Oh you and camera man are just adorable & entertaining :) and this design is awesome - it just screams "fall" to me 😻
Ps i really appreciate the inserts on screen - thank you camera man 😊
i envy and admire women who can function with nails that long because i definitely cannot lol
Ya I thought it was hard then I got some coffin nails and after a day or two got used to it and I'm a truck driver and didn't have a problem!
If you start Shor and grow them over time it's not hard. Overtime you adapt.
I’m a guy and a nail biter so I almost done SUPED short nails. I went from short to nails longer than suzzie’s in this video and I’m doing just fine lol. You get super used to it
I cant.
I love her soothing voice....could watch her videos all day long!
I totally agree, I think you were right to keep with the gold colour story for this set, but the burgundy was so stunning with the rusty tortoise shell colours, I’d love to see you try that colour scheme sometime!
"really gets things dirty" *wears all white*
Bella Peppin it’s called livin’ on the edge. Suzy’s trynna keep things real.
shes to legit to quit
O know right 😂😂
I will never stop loving Suzie's 80's hair, I adore it.
SUZIE those are INCREDIBLE!!!
Your prettiest nail design yet.
Stunning.
I might agree- i❤️these
This is a stunning set!!! I think I’ll do something steam punk on myself. Love the alcohol inks as well. Great video Suzie. I saw your wedding photo on IG, very nice. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻🖤🖤🖤
Prior to the inlays, the inks remind me of Burl Wood. Beautiful!
I loved this video so much. I loved the conversation between you and mister cameraman lol. And the confidence boost. One of the reasons I started doing my nails was because of you. Cameraman did an amazing job filming this!
