I am collecting videos of UA-camrs travelling on night train from/to Bangkok to/from Chiang Mai. Seems every (Farang) UA-camr in Thailand has to do that. 5555
If you are on a budget, it is cheaper to take the bus or even to fly (sometimes plane ticket at around 1000Baht or even less).
I even prefer second class over first class when travelling alone. More privacy in second class.
